Hello there. It has been a while since I made a review so I decided why not write one on the anime Bakemonogatari.
STORY 8:
This is about a guy helping various girls with supernatural problems which is sort of a common plot. However, the way its executed is very good. It does come off as a little confusing so I recommend trying to pause and read the flash words in the beginning of each episode. They explain quite a bit actually. Don't give up on the first episode! At least try a few more even if it seems weird! You'll notice Bakemonogatari is so
...
much different from other animes, things can go from jokingly to depth within minutes.
Art 8:
I think the art is fine really nothing too special but not bad enough where you are cringing at the sight of it.
Sound 10:
First off let me say that its awesome that each character sings the opening themes throughout the series. I love it! This is part of why I give sound a 10. The other reason is the time and place they choose to play the music. You can notice that the characters opening song instrumental version plays in the background when something good is happening. As for the ending song, it won't make much sense to you until close to the end of the anime. Then it unravels beautifully.
Character 9:
Of course the characters play a big part in this anime since most of the anime is made up of them talking, either meaningful or having fun with each other. The way they react to one another is amazing. I also like how things happen while they are talking (you will see what I mean when watching) its another reason this series is so different from others.
Enjoyment 8:
I did pretty much enjoy Bakemonogatari, sometimes I got a little bored but I blame the stupid website I was using for messing up.
Overall 9:
I highly suggest watching this if you are tired of the same old things and want something that is different. Its not for everyone but it doesnt hurt to not give it a try!

Driven by the sight of a wasteland in the reviews section, a novice reviewer has decided to make a (terrible) review on this nice piece of manga!
Story 8 - Flesh Colored Horror is a collection of stories, each chapter having a different story to tell. I personally thought the first and last stories were very creepy if not scary. For the age of this manga, this is very good. And it tells the story at a reasonable pace, first starting with the build up then ends at the climax point or a little after. Each story will keep you interested and refresh the horror.
...
Also blood isn't the only method of horror this manga uses, in one of the stories there is psychological horror. Which will make one think of how they would react in that situation all the while having terror building up.
Art 6 - Very nice considering when it was released. I can even say that it competes with mangas that are newer by a few years.
Character 7 - Not much room to show development or much of character traits. The personalities are all set out, all being very mediocre.
Enjoyment 7 - I liked Flesh Colored Horror it managed to creep my out, oh wait why am I saying that? I'm still a little new to horror but have had a share of animes/manga of them. If you're a horror genre veteran then perhaps it won't get you as bad or perhaps it will. :)
Overall - 7.5555555 Don't pass this up, give this darn thing a chance. And thanks to everyone who decided not to write a review for this. Now here I am, typing and thinking about what I remember reading/seeing from this in the past. To add to the fire, it is late at night too. :( Haha, hope anyone reading enjoyed.

Story 5
The story seems typical from what I can tell.
Art 7
Art is nice
Sound 3
I could barely hear it and when I did it really didn't add to anything at all.
Character 4
...
Their personalities seem alright but not the best and they seem to hardly try to make this intriguing.
Enjoyment 4
About 4 minutes to watch all of this, thus a 4 for enjoyment.
Overall 4
Of course we all saw this coming. Yes, a 4.
I am rating this as what it was meant to be and that is a trailer I'm assuming from other reviews. It did have the advertisement vibe to it yet it wasn't satisfying. There should be only 1 episode if its going to be a trailer, not 3 episodes that viewers have to chase around to see what this is going to be about. You'll probably understand more about the manga just by reading the summary.

Here is my review for the fairly new anime Tokyo Ghoul.
Story - 6
It is a alright story, I have seen similar such as Shiki where the shiki have to drink blood of humans thus having shikis and humans co-exist but not like the ghouls that people already know about and actually eat human flesh not just blood. After watching the latest (and last) episode, it is hard to give the anime anything higher since there are plot holes.
Art - 9
Well done on art, it has nice vivid colors that truly stand out from others. Such as the way the hair colors stand
...
out, not to mention other details they go into with backgrounds.
Sound - 7
Opening is very nice, one of my favorites but not much liking for the ending theme. OST is done nicely, not really the best but certainly not the worst. Enough to keep the mood.
Character - 6
Main character has the typical bad past like most do where his parents are dead or something tragic happened. There hardly is any character development especially since there only 12 episodes. Although I seen short animes with good development. Anyways, characters are made fair enough where the viewer will either like or dislike them.
Enjoyment - 9
I was always looking forward to seeing the next episode and during the waiting period for next episode to air was painful, lol.
Overall - 7
A good anime that should at least be given a try despite not being absolutely perfect. It is probably a good idea to read the manga too (I plan to do that) which is 100+ chapters which will satisfy more :)

Story 6.5 - The main character Itsuka Shido has to date these things/people called Spirits to seal their powers and make them stop wreaking havoc. This is similar to The World God Only Knows. I believe towards the ending the series strayed from the original story and focused on other things. It managed to keep me hooked though.
Art 8 - Really can't complain about art, its same as most newer animes and characters are well animated along with effects.
Sound 8 - I loved the OST, opening and ending themes. They went well with the series.
Character 6 - Like in many harem animes, we
...
have the character who is dense. "I love you", "Oh, that's nice". There is little to none character development and all are cliche types. They are still likable though, my favorite being Tobiichi Origami.
Enjoyment 8.5 - I really enjoyed Date A Live despite being a little harsh on it in my review. Its worth watching if you're not too strict otherwise you'll hate it.
Overall 7 - Date A Live, a good anime if you like to set expectations to zero and enjoy some ecchi humor. Also do not take Rated R seriously, I'm sure the rating was given since there is a part where one of the spirits kills people and spills blood all over (if I remember correctly).

I watched this anime before reading any reviews. After seeing so many bad ratings for it, I was surprised since it seemed good to me.
The story is not special but decent. Unfortunately it was rushed towards the end which I think could have been done better. This earns it a 6 in story.
Art neatly done except for the magic battles in the background, not much work was put into those thus making them look like little fireworks or explosions of color. The battles were excellent, same with magic effects that were up close. An 8 for art.
Sound fits just right, opening is alright not
...
that catchy same with ending theme. 7 for sound.
Characters are made well, mostly enjoyable but some will hate the main since he lets himself get beat up. There is also the girl(s) that shout his name every chance they have. "Ichigo-kun! Ichigo-kun!" "Naruto-kun!! Narutooo-kun!!" Sound familiar? 6 for character since most are cliche/common personality.
I did enjoy this anime a lot despite its flaws. Enjoyment 9
Overall I'll give Magical Warfare or Mahou Sensou a 7.5 - 8. You may enjoy it or may not. I think it does deserve a watch.

This is a anime people will either hate or love. As a precaution, do not watch this thinking it will be ecchi with lots of panties, boobs, etc. Although you'll see some, they aren't the main thing.
Story 9 - I give the story a 9 since it may seem boring at first but later on it gets interesting and there is even a twist that I was not expecting. Not to mention it feels fresh and different. And it also has hilarious moments that had me laughing.
Art - 8 The art is great, its not stunning or anything special but good enough.
Sound
...
- 7 Sound effects are alright and soundtrack mostly fits, not the best nor worst. I really liked the opening and ending themes though, they are a excellent match to the anime.
Character 10 - Character is the best part of this anime. The personalities are wonderful, its very easy to tell each character apart. This next part may be a minor spoiler: later on you will start guessing which character is which since they do certain things.
Enjoyment - 9 Truthfully I was bored by the beginning, thankfully I kept watching each episode even though it was taking a while. Towards the middle is when things became interesting and I really became interested.
Overall - 8 It could've been better in some ways, but good enough with what it has.

Claymore is a manga definitely worth reading.
When I first began, it looked alright to me. Not too interesting but enough to make me continue the series. As it progresses, you'll notice the fights get bigger and more destructive (not to mention super awesome).
From my viewpoint there, wasn't much character development; most of the characters stay the same. Though this doesn't have a huge impact on the story. The story is really interesting once you get farther, it surprised me entirely and had a twist I wasn't expecting. There's also the art, which is amazing.
This entire series hasn't failed to amaze me nor
...
lose my interest. One of the few that I actually have kept up with despite the number of chapters. Give Claymore a read! You won't regret it.
