An otaku and a tsundere. Konata is to Hajime as Kagami is to Kaoru. If you've seen Lucky Star and thought, "Konata and Kagami would be so cute in a relationship", then you'd enjoy seeing DgNwIkWK. The difference, however, is that Lucky Star relies on anime references while DgNwIkWK pokes fun at the otaku fanbase.

More members join and the club ends up becoming like a harem. (Almost all the characters seem to like Kyon in the Haruhi Suzumiya series...) However, Haruhi's characters have special powers that are used to keep Haruhi from destroying the world.

More and more people accumulate in a nearly-family-like group. Both could do with less ecchi, though.

If you liked Sword Art Online add

...then you might like Absolute Duo add

Romance, action, and a harem that mostly hurts the show rather than helps it! I personally prefer AD, but logically speaking, SAO has better action. However, what AD lacks in action, it makes up for in the relationship between characters. Also, Absolute Duo, unlike Sword Art Online, has characters not suited for its genre, making it rather interesting. If you liked SAO, you may like AD.

If you liked Soul Eater add

...then you might like Absolute Duo add

Same concept of partners fighting together. Soul Eater is about humans who are also weapons while Absolute Duo is about humans who wield their souls. Romance abound in AD while comedy is littered all over Soul Eater.

...then you might like Absolute Duo add

Within one episode you can tell that the main characters will develop a special bond by the end. The romance is stronger in Clannad, but still nice either way. Also, the main character already knows who he wants to be with him, and doesn't stray from that path.

...then you might like Absolute Duo add

Harem atmosphere and heavy fanservice. HaGaNaI is more comedy and Duo is more romance.

Revenge of a student fighting for her dad (or alternately fighting for his sister). Absolute Duo isn't very strong but the theme is similar.

Exploding bodies, blood, and an antihero who has been oppressed since youth until discovering their telekinetic power, which ends up being abused.

A club recruits members and friendships form. They have differing morals though: Friendship in HaGaNaI, and life in Clannad. (Oh, and Angel Beats would be another recommendation.)

Action and less direct plot. Many say the manga for both is better, but it's just a coincidence. The fear of a strange creature (Titans and Tetsuo). The questioning of whether the creature is evil or not. And... the well-animated scenes.

...then you might like Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu add

Character development. The story in both is minimal yet strong, but Haruhi is a fantasy-comedy while Bebop is a sci-fi-dramedy. Dose of interesting events.

Love between cousins and a non-human suitor. Sankarea's a comedy, Elfen Lied's a tragedy.

If you liked Lucky☆Star add

...then you might like Clannad add

Humorous slice-of-life, similar-looking characters with similar backstories, and perking your happiness up with a salting of sadness. Don't expect them to be the same, though. Clannad's got the strong points in terms of anime, but Lucky Star is really about otaku(s).

...then you might like Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica add

Both involve a group of characters fighting against some kind of force until they reach a bittersweet end to the story. Madoka is about girls who face death, and Angel Beats is about kids who want to stay dead together.

If you liked Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann add

...then you might like Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica add

Both go at a fast pace to keep it interesting but slow down the pace to keep storylines and characters developing. They also tell a story of a main character who starts off as a weakling who feels useless but the character develops into a mature, brave hero. Oh, and they also have a cute red-ponytailed girl as a companion to their brutal adventure. The difference is that Gurren Lagann is a Mecha anime and Madoka Magica is a Magical Girls anime.

Both metaphorize something but it's not necessary to understand it to enjoy it.

...then you might like Angel Beats! add

Both have an overload of characters, but to make up for that, they actually are lovable, and the humor is solid. Oh, and both make you cry in the end, but for different reasons. Ouran because it ended, Angel Beats because it was sad.

Sankarea and Highschool of the Dead are both zombie fanservice. Enough said.
