What the hell are you doing here

If you think an anime looks good, give it a try for yourself instead of taking the word of a basement dweller who thinks he's some kind of anime connoisseur. Enjoy anime for what it is. Don't expect something marketing itself as "unashamedly ecchi" to have a deep, compelling story or become disappointed that the gritty, philosophical show you just watched "didn't have enough titties" and you can't really go wrong. Stop poring over every tiny detail and just try to enjoy it a little.

i really liked it, the concept in itself was unique . I think if humanoid robots ever did come to exist then it would exactly play out as shown in chobits,tho id think machines can show human emotions as depicted in the anime. but what i didnt like is they didnt explain every detail like abt the organization or wt makes a chobit so different that they r able to act like humans and all.
but overall if i had to say, it was good

I mean, yeah. That's what it seems like, honestly. This exact sort of behavior is what I've talked about in my own review of the series. When a piece of media has the stigma as it does, arguments in its defense, no matter how well-supported, will be brushed aside by those who've internalized this contemptuous view of said media. It's such a stagnant and anti-intellectual way of thinking, and one that's sadly common around the "critical" space of the anime community ironically enough.

Well I just compare the impressions of different shows really. My rating score relies on just how much the anime touches me, makes me think, or scream, or jump etc. In this scale anime really can not be similar. Anyways I wish you good luck and more positivity

I just think it's healthy to have as much 1-4 scores as 6-10 scores in your list. And you know, I still in some way enjoy shows that I rate from 2 to 5, and I think others do too. But in the end it all comes down to how you treat your scores, the most important question is do you only rate anime based on enjoyment, or based on how they compare to all other anime on your list. For people who choose the second option, it is common to have a lower mean score.
