Both series deal with child prodigies who have burnt out and developed resentment for the industry they were a part of. Both also deal with a love interest who idolizes the burnt out and bitter former prodigy. They deal with some darker elements but are really touching and well done. By the end, both former prodigies are able to use their experiences tk move forward in a way that let's them help others achieve their dreams.

Crazy Girl

the art style and characters. Natsume and Miku's dynamic really reminded me of kodocha. The art did too lol. Something about the eyes and facial expressions really reminded me of it. There's a similar tone to the series as well. Kodocha is a little more crazy and energetic then crazy girl but both have their zany silly moments. Natsume and Miku really play off eachother in the same way Akito and Sana did, especially early on. There's a level of animosity, as well as magnetism between both couples.

ReLIFE

While the series is similar to full moon in its idol transformation and elements this series is also similar enough to ReLife that I'd be willing to bet Arina Tanemura is a fan. Noth series feature a pill that transforms a person back into a teenager. While Relife deals with the themes of reliving youth to overcome trauma and regrets in a school environment, Idol dream offers the mc a chance to go back to being a teenager and overcoming regrets as well, but she chooses to become an idol and live her teenage life to the fullest
