hey! what's new with you? did you have a nice holiday/new year? Let's just say it wasn't that great on my end as I was sick (still dealing w/ lingering symptom like cough). Asides from that, just been busy with work. The only anime I'm watching is demon slayer's new season.

Also, what's DST? it's okay, no need to go to theatres these days since you can easily stream or watch it through disney+. But I do prefer going to the theatres just a more focused (?) experience.

Were you playing animal crossing during COVID? I didn't know you can actually get a warning on Pokemon go. 😮 LOL or you can be like that grandpa I've seen on social media before where he has a bunch of phones where he rides a bike to collect Pokemon.

It was crazy I felt like my whole week was occupied by their wedding. There was like two bridal celebrations and then the actual wedding itself. I'm sad that summer is ending 😢 like the night ends earlier.

I started watching nisekoi, not sure if you've seen it. I was surprised I've never heard of it. I was just browsing for something light hearted and funny to watch so I'm enjoying it so far.

Whoaaaa Atari what a throwback. I've actually never seen the console in person. The oldest one I've played/seen was the NES classic. LOL I mostly played dr. Mario with my mom when I was a kid. Do you actually finish the whole Pokemon game? Or do you rig it with getting those cheat codes?

Whoaa you're so lucky you still got the old consoles, i really miss the old games. I still think n64 is one of the best consoles. I honestly lost track of the different versions of DS after DS lite. On a side note, I tried to watch the world ends with you as I remember playing it on DS but the anime is pretty bad...there's not much depth to the characters. Quite disappointed. Not sure if you've played that game as well.

yesss!! i thought i was dying at like 40 degrees celsius omg, it was freaking humid. And there were articles of people dying i think we went up to 65 people in one day and how the emergency room was backed up...Then on FB marketplace, people were selling their a/c and fans at a super hiked rate =___= and some people couldn't deal with the heat that the hotels were booked up too. It was pretty crazy last week. i didn't even want to leave the house

What's 80 Fahrenheit to celsius? Is it just as hot or bearable? LOL if you guys are getting the heat wave warning, I would say to get an a/c before people go crazy. Reminds me of the toilet paper craze when covid first hit *facepalm*

I used to play but i'm no good at gaming though nor do I have the patience. I mostly played b/c my friends did so I did play left for dead or overcooked w/ friends. I think the last console I played was the wii like the old gen. What consoles do you have?

I get what you mean to be careful than not. I can't believe how hot the temperature is over here, there was even an article about how it's hotter here than LA...I barely want to leave the house when it's so humid/burning outside.

You probably do the same thing, where like you use the same username for multiple sites. That's what I do. And I created icecreeaamm during my high school days, I think it started w/ maplestory and since icecream was taken I had to spell it differently. And back then, I was obsessed with eating ice cream as I was short (still am) and my parents thought that was better than no dairy in my system to help me grow lol

Yeah I don't think I really noticed before, most people are from the states on here. I would love to check out NY once things are okay again. Seems like a busy city. Ohhh I see, it's nice to be with parents too. I feel like after I moved out was when I realized how grateful I am for the little things they do.

Haha I'm fine with being open where I'm from :) I'm actually from Vancouver, Canada. It's been gloomy here with the rain. If you meet any Vancouverites you'll know we name this city raincouver since it rains so much haha. Have you travelled to Canada before?

My guy friend is fine now since he's back to work and everything. I haven't had a chance to hang out with him since some people are quite sensitive about the pandemic.

Damnn it's good you're able to help your mom, it didn't hinder your work? are you able to work from home? and are you also living at home then? I know a few of my friends moved back home to be with family since the pandemic happened. It kind of became a realization of how important family is.

Me too! I've been busy applying, so hopefully I hear good things and if I don't then maybe it wasn't meant for me anyways! Is your sister better now? One of my friends caught it too and still hasn't been able to get all his sense of smell/taste back yet.

It's been quite tough I mean work-wise, trying to balance working from home and giving myself space. I was also laid off early this year. Otherwise, I'm grateful my family has been healthy and safe. How about you? How are things on your end? Did you get vaccinated yet?
