No spoilers. This movie is overrated. The main character acts despicably, like a spoilt child- so much so that it became unenjoyable to watch. People with mush for brains might say it’s due to her struggling with a disability. Don’t feel main love interests feelings exist until plot points are written in to force emotion- honestly I felt bad for him like he was trapped lol
It is mediocre at best and there are plenty of reasons which many other people have taken to addressing in other reviews including poorly written characters and shallow plot points ect ect. If you’re thinking about watching I suggest setting
...
expectations lower than what the MAL score- it’s inflated by people who don’t involve thought with watching anime. Movies like a pretty 2D picture, no depth, looking at the ocean on google might inspire you more. Gg my time.

If you don't want to read the full length of this review, skip to the bottom where I'll leave some pro's and con's for a fast over view of the manga.
I'm going to skip right to the point. This manga doesn't get nearly as much attention as it should. These days it gets harder and harder to find new original stories that are actually good. No one wants to a boring bunch of pages that are wasted on shallow storyline that has been published over and over. Even as there are only 6 chapter available online for this manga at the present time, I can
...
confidantly say this is a heart warming story that (as far as I now) is a brand new idea and is being played out beautifully.
Originality is alway an attractive thing when looking for entertainment and enjoyment, heck even everyone themselves is constantly looking for originality to differ them from person to person. This manga no less draws you into its original an wonderful world and makes you feel as the characters feel and think as the characters think. When you put yourself in the shoes of the protagonist, you realize that the actions carried out are so mindful and realistic, you can do nothing but thank Koyomi Minamori for creating such a wonderful feeling in only a few pages.
The 2 main characters have sufficient prologue adding depth to the storyline and each event that occurs isn't by any means rushed (in my opinion) but you always find yourself constantly "addicted" as you flow through the pages smoothly without any hiccups (thus far). There isn't much detail given out about the supporting characters but it's still very early days yet to see every character woven in to the yet to come awesome plot.
The art in this manga also adds a whole 'nother level to the storyline. I don't think many people actually appreciate art in manga as much as they should. Even if you have the best plot and disruptive interesting dialogue it can all be in vain when the pages themselves seem dull and boring. Mangas are about visual storytelling just as much as they are about the word content within. One without the other doesn't work very well but when you have both perfectly combined you end but with an awesome publication. This manga by all means has perfectly combined the 2 elements resulting in a very easy/enjoyable way to explore the storyline visually and in a more literal way. Credit to Koyomi Minamori once again.
As you can tell if you read thus far, I have immensely enjoyed my time reading this still rather short manga and do not think my time wasted to continue waiting and reading the chapters to follow. I highly recommend this as Shoujo, romance and for those of you who truly love deep stories that have morals behind them that you can actually take away with you. One thing I would say I learnt from reading this manga would have to be to treasure every moment as it comes as if it was your last. Having regrets can burden you but it's never too late to make things right until well, it really is too late...
+ ~ great original storyline
+ ~ detail to character history
+ ~ smooth page layout resulting in an easy to read system
+ ~ beautiful art that compliments the entire manga
+ ~ flowing and interesting dialogue
+ ~ lovable characters - personalities
[] is an all age read, don't exect anything to heavy
- ~ pretty slow chapter release
- ~ rather short chapters resulting in less detail to some filler/main story events
- ~ everything is cute - it might get irritable for those who cant stand everything having a cute outlook about it.
Happy reading ^^

When I came across this manga floating through the yaoi main stream I was immediately snatched up by it. I found some sort of resemblance to Sekaiichi Hatsukoi and when I chose to read it, and although it was good, I felt let down. Maybe they were too similar and I found that Joushi to no Hitoban wasn't cutting it, if it was trying to compete with Nakamura Shungiku famous Yaoi manga's. So if your looking for a fresh, never seen before, original manga, your going to have to look else where because, I found it rather bland when it could have been so much
...
more.
Story: 5
In short it was un-original and pretty lame, but it did I guess, get better towards the end but not enough to make me give it a 6. It's a typical smut/romance/yaoi with jealousy, harassment, mis-understandings blah blah blah you get the picture.
Kondou Takayuki hated his boss since he was employed. His irritable and is constantly telling Takayuki that his work is at a level of an elementary schooler. His name, Takagi Toshinobu. Takayuki has to go through the trouble of 1st being, well pretty much violated and then falling in-love with the person who apparently "did it" with him. Then trouble begins and Takayuki is captured as he struggles to work out his relationship with his boss and these new arising feeling coming from within himself.
Character: 7
For this manga I actually liked the characters, but they were still un-original and I had seen their "type" in many many other mangas. 1, "cute" small, obedient and trancparent uke while the other straight-forward, demanding, strong and naughty teme. When together... You can see the outcome.
Enjoyment:6
It's not that I didn't enjoy it at all but I just kept on expecting more... If you have a lot of free time (like me) then you could always read it for fun but don't expect a lot.
Overall: 6
Overall the manga kinda blurred together, in the end I only picking up bits and pieces as I flicked through the pages. If you had planned to read an exciting yaoi/romance this isnt what your looking for. All in all it was pretty boring, I guess it would be very enjoyable if you were new to yaoi but if you have already read quite a few before its not really worth the time. It was OKAY in many respects but you didn't get what your put in, so it ended up leaving you out to dry.
Happy reading ^^

First I would like to say that if you like Kimi no todoke you will absoulty enjoy this so recommend checking this out 100%
Story: 8
you don't see many mangas out there these days that set out like this, and I think that it has come to be its main selling point. Mei Tachibana is very withdrawn from social standing and is regarded as the creepy girl you see floating around. She believes that there is no point in having friends because all they do is use and then dispose of you. Tachibana is bullied at school because she sticks out like a sore thumb, a
...
long shirt, short and rather ratty hair plus the unpleasant look she keeps on her face add upto the perfect target for just about anyone who knows they'll get away with bullying her. The most popular and cool guy in school Yamato Kurosawa takes interest in her and claims that they are now friends and soon to be more. This is something that I was particularly drawn to because of its realism and outspoken simplicity. It's unique and realistic romance and comedy add upto a fantastic story if you put in the time the read it.
Art: 9
I defiantly like the art. It's very cute and detailed and has a ruffled kinda look to it. The art really does add to the character and give it more value and depth. In a way it's like a new but familiar world filled with texture and shape and if I had the choice I wouldn't mind jumping right in .;)
Character: 9
I know you must get this a lot, but the characters in this are truly unique and you wouldn't find them anywhere else. Some quirky, some funny and others just loveabe.the characters are something that really drew me into the manga.
Enjoyment: 8
I have truly began to impers myself into this manga. Investing feelings and hopes will not go unrewarded and completing this series will not disappoint. I have truly started to fall in love with this manga because of it complexes about love and romance in real life. I strongly suggest reading the manga if your looking for a warming story that will keep to interested till the very end. They do say nothing ventured nothing gained so pick this one up next time you have the chance.
Happy reading ^^

5 centimeter per second was a tragic but beautiful, sad yet happy emotional roller coaster. It's was one of those movies that leave a mark on your heart, and change the way you look at things forever. A heads up for people thinking about watching it, if you can't deal with the exactly happy ending you might think its leading upto I suggest you prepare yourself.
STORY:
The story was realistic and moving. If told at tale of childhood friends Takaki and Akari who were separated when Akari's family moved away because of family work.
After separating they keep in touch through sending letters (as mobilephones where
...
not all that common yet) but because of the extended time separated they grow apart, although never really forgetting about each other.
When circumstances change and they are able to meet up, love sparks a new beginning even if it only lasts a night. But once again when separated it becomes hard to keep connected and many years pass. It's a tragic story of how we wish things should be but aren't.
ART:
The art was impressive but not the best I've seen. It has it's own characteristics in drawing people but when drawing landscape I have seen no better artist.
SOUND:
The music played in this anime is second to none. It matches perfectly with the mood of this anime and has an emotional effect just by listening to it. The music is something that put it above all other animes for me.
CHARACTER:
The characters are also very good. They make it easy to understand the characters intentions and portray in excellently. If I did had to make a negative point, it would be that it might get on your nerves how realistic they made them. The good guys don't always win in a way.
ENJOYMENT:
Although sad this was a very very enjoyable movie. It had its ups and downs but I wouldn't want to see this anime portrayed in any other way. It would just wreck the whole vibe.
OVERALL:
It was a fantastic movie and I would recommend it to everyone and anyone. But be warned it might not end to your liking, but it is defiantly something that everyone should watch to grasp a new understanding and outlook on how life is, short, uncertain and beautiful.
