Hey, This is KanekiTale.
I have been a fan of anime since I was a kid but only realized what they were when I was 15, after completing Naruto, which I only started as a show to watch while having dinner, but boy was that not where it ended as.
I've branched to reading Manga, Manhwa, LN, and even Webnovels with no signs of my Plan to-watch list ever going down.
Always interested in communicating, so hit me up if you want to discuss or for whatever reason, no worry.
Pleased to make your acquaintance.

Yes monogatari is an peak anime and I enjoyed the show from the beginning of the series.
I think you know how I felt when I saw this anime, when I watched after some months an peak anime.
Idk but the monogatari series is just too good even if there is no fight (it's my op, I like fantasy anime) .

Good luck completing 100 manga.
I also want to finish Given, not sure about Banana fish. I started reading it, but I really didn´t feel like reading anything depressing at that point so I noped out very fast. I would like to get to it again someday, but I´m in no rush.
I never read The 20th Century Boys and Oyasumi Punpun and I probably never will. Too dark and depressing for me. Will it be a great read? Most likely. Will I be deppressed as all hell? Yup. So no, I don´t feel like reading them. I know that everybody praises them, but I still don´t feel like inlicting this sort of damage to myself.
I would like to read Pluto though. That one will probably be not very easy too, but I really want to read that one.
For the You should read this manga 2023 time limited badge I was reading Kieta Hatsukoi. I liked it, but it´s BL and I don´t think you read those.
What I would recommend you is Onanie Master Kurosawa. I was unsure for very long time if I wanted to read that one, because well, read the premise... but it was a really good manga. Similarly to Jumyou wo Kaitotte Moratta. Ichinen ni Tsuki, Ichimanen de. it has a strong message and good character development.
No rush, Black Cat is a bit slow towards the middle.
No I mean the big manga reading challenge. The one that starts at the beggining of the year and runs to half of the December. This one: https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=2070198
Honestly it wasn´t my kind of thing. I found a whole concept kind of dumb. Like even when you work the lowest of low jobs you will make more money per year. Like don´t get me wrong, I understand the message, I just disliked the execution. Also I couldn´t care less about characters and theor relationship progress didn´t feel natural. Like I still rated manga 6 - it was okay and had decent art, it just wasn´t my kind of manga. Still, thanks for recommendation.
I recommend watching Heavenly Delusion. It is a sci-fi mystery thriller with great animation and soundtrack. I think you should binge it after the show ends.
