Ore dake Level Up na Ken: ReAwakening

As a fan of Solo Leveling, this movie left a positive impression on me by accomplishing several goals. On one hand, it serves as a condensed summary of the first season, which can be useful for those who don’t want to rewatch the entire season. While it inevitably skips over some important details, it manages to capture the key moments and rekindle the excitement of following Sung Jin-Woo’s story.

On the other hand, the preview of the first episodes of the second season is a major highlight. The animation quality feels even more polished than in the series, and watching these scenes in a theater with ... an immersive atmosphere really makes a difference.

While it may not be essential for those who have already seen the first season and are willing to wait for the second, for fans, it’s an opportunity to reconnect with the story and build anticipation for what’s coming, all while enjoying a high-quality presentation.

Honestly right of the bat: Only watch this movie if you want to see the beginning of S2 earlier. It recaps S1 (and skips a lot of it, obviously, but it is a nice refresher if you don't want to rewatch the whole season) and then shows the first 2 episodes of the second season.
It isn't a bad movie per se but if you have the time then watching the full first season is just a better experience and once S2 drops I don't really see a reason to watch this movie other than to get a quick refresher as to what happened in the ... first season.

This review was written before it "aired" however we got the movie today - November 26 - here in Germany so I was already able to watch it in the cinema.
