I don't write a lot of reviews, and this isn't much of a review as it is a warning, so bear with me.
To start things off, do NOT start this amazing story by watching the OVA!!! The first scene is 58 chapters is, and even though i'm 60 chapters in, I still haven't gotten to the arc the ova is on! The ova tries to show the back story with fragments of flashbacks, but they don't explain much of anything! Read the manga first to even understand what's going on! Or wait to see if there is an actual anime adaptation. Right now, the OVA

uhh... really old cg and a mundane old story. "we need to find the doctor! but she doesn't want to be found... then everyone dies! the end..." type of story line.
only plus is that the sound and visuals aren't all that bad for the time! i MEAN for the time! comparing this to Advent Children is a nono! so uhh... i'm not all for gore and scary stuff, but if it is, i'd say watch it if you're bored. no really all that entertaining. it's pretty iffy. they probably did it for publicity to say, "look! we got a cg movie! 20 minutes, but what the ...

I like this movie. It's got comedy and action. Plus, this may be just me, but I'm a sucker for happy endings. And I like movies where the guy get the girl at the end. The plot is not all that bad. If you don't really understand it, well it's that there's an AI rampant in the cyber world and it must be stopped, because the better part of most everyday life and equipment depends on the internet. The art is pretty awesome and characters are well done as well in terms of giving them all their own personality.
I definitely encourage anyone to watch it. ... |
