2023 has been an extraordinary year for me, filled with memorable travels. Here's a snapshot of my journeys:

๐ซ๐ฎ Finland: An adventure with friends to see the aurora borealis ๐ and sled rides through snowy forests ๐ฒ pulled by foxes ๐ฆ. While Finland's high living costs are notable, its beauty and the recent accolade of being the best country to live in are undeniable.
Dream Destinations: Japan ๐ฏ๐ต and South Korea ๐ฐ๐ท top my travel wish list.
Life's Philosophy:
Life is a complex tapestry of experiences ๐. We might not always grasp its lessons immediately, but they shape us nonetheless. My mantra? Live fully, lose with grace, and always dare to dream again. Life's truly beautiful when you embrace it fearlessly ๐ช.

Yes, January moved so quickly, it feels a bit strange, haha. Thank you, I never generally made resolutions
because I didn't really think I could do them "right", but I don't think there's a "right" way to make resolutions anymore <3
I'd say my health declined to the point it's currently at sometime about 4 years ago and has never improved. Right now, I'm working on getting to the bottom of a Dysautonomia diagnosis to see if we can pinpoint exactly which condition I seem to have. I also have some worrying problems with my gut health (been a problem all my life) that I may ask about soon, too. Just to see if there may be anything that can be done to improve my quality of life.
Ohhh, I see! I hope you find the perfect balance for yourself!
I'm glad to hear that the people you work with seem to be lovely ^-^
I definitely understand wanting to work remotely, any reason is a good one *nod nod*
The only sport I like to partake in sometimes (if presented the opportunity) is horseback riding!
Even then, I have to be careful because of my health >.<
But I've loved horses since I was 5 and take every chance I can to ride! If that counts as a sport xD
Oooo, what kinds of sports do you like? Which one(s) did you pick up recently? o:
Yes, some of the most profound joy can come from such small things :>
See you soon ^-^
This is my last year of high school, so there is a lot of school events for senior like our Senior retreat in March and Prom in April.
Next month, I have my school trip to Australia, which I'm very excited about.
I mean, maybe I can't find a subject to talk about. I just don't feel comfortable talking a lot ahah.
Are you comfortable when speaking in a foreign language with natives?
Sometimes the Japanese consideration makes me feel like a baby or stupid lol, that's what I mean. If you just want to relax, it's amazing, but I feel like sometimes I can handle the situation, but they still want to help haha. Like when I was in the bus, there was a sign that read "be careful, the bus is moving", when someone pushed the stop button, the sign changed to "be careful, the bus will stop soon" lol.
There's racism towards white people as well in Japan. I heard many people talk about it, but I haven't (yet) experienced anything, I think. The good thing about the politeness and the fear of losing face, is that Japanese aren't very open about the racism they do. What I mean is, for example, they might stare at you or not sit next to you on a train (which would be luxury, this hasn't happened to me though...) but they wouldn't call you out. But I suppose that can also happen. How was your friend exposed to racism in Japan?
I mostly talk in Japanese. Sometimes they try to speak English and depending on the situation I might use English as well, or still use Japanese.
I think it's a bit similar in Finland too. Because living in the countryside isn't much cheaper than living in the city, agriculture is a harsh job.
Hmm, I'm not very interested in politics so I don't usually talk about that with them ahah. I don't think people get angry over another person's opinion, as long as they are polite. Here's freedom of speech, but I feel like not many young people are interested in politics. They had an election a few months ago, and then I heard people speak about it but, nothing more than "I guess this party will win, because they have had a lot of supporters" or something along the lines of that. I feel like they don't want to bring up their opinion, rather just say how things are. This one girl I talked with, however, was interested in American politics. She said it's more interesting than in Japan haha
Do you have interest in politics?
Disneyland Paris isn't in Paris? lmao
It was okay, it was raining on that day, so many people were there with their umbrellas and it was annoying to hold my own and crash on other's :( But there were a few carousels and story rides, which were fun. The lines however were horrible. We were in the line for 2 hours! That's crazy...... And all the stuff in the shop was super expensive. All in all, it was fun to go, but I wouldn't go again soon.
Have you been to Disneyland?
Choose Canada. You can use French there and it's safer than the US haha.
That's cool! I have thought about buying an apartment, but I want to pay my student loan first.
Have you gone to see any of the apartments yet? or planning?
Ahahah she just stared at you? That's funny.
Not every Finn is like that though. There are extroverted people too lol
Hmm, I don't have any preferences. But because of cultural differences, I think it would be easier to date a Finnish guy. Also I want to live in Finland, so... you know :D
lol I haven't dated any Japanese. The guys in my school are clearly younger than me and tinder is full of cheaters, which I don't want to mess with, even if I wasn't looking for anything serious...
How do you meet a partner in France though? Do you use apps or something?
You are gonna run a marathon? That's so cool! Have you done half marathon etc before?
See yaaa
> How is the economic situation in India ?
Same answer as above.
My colleagues are garbage. Only 1-2 are worth my time and energy. The retirement age here is 60, but there is no such provision in private companies. They determine it at their will
> But when you will get old, who will take care of you ?
But how do you know I'll be alive long enough to grow old?
I've read about similar schemes being run in Japan and S Korea. It's honestly stupid to provide incentives to give birth to children. Why not adopt existing ones? You hit two birds with one stone. You're right about the population issue here. There were talks of providing incentives to govt employees with only 2 kids, but it was shot down by Leftists.
I mean, I do the bare minimum necessary when it comes to the bigger festivals here, but that's about it. How about you?
it is nice to meet you!
How's it going?
my twins were born on the 9th of Jan and will life has been hectic.
I apologize for the late response!
I hope your New Year has been blessed already, and may it continue to be blessed with health, wealth, and happiness ^-^
If they qualify as resolutions, I'd have to say mine are:
To finally get to the bottom of all of my health problems and assessments (already started at the end of last year!)
To read much more than I have in the past few years
And to enjoy more and more things, no matter how small they may be ^-^
Have a beautiful 2025! <3
Happy New Year to you too ๐๐ฅ and I hope you already had a great start.. ๐ค
Wishing you a New Year filled with love, laughter, and endless adventures.
May 2025 bring you closer to your dreams and fill your days with happiness and success. ๐
For my New Year's Resolution I think it's more on career growth and changing my lifestyle into a healthy one.. ๐๐ป
What about you? what did you set as your New Year resolution? ๐ค
During New Year, I celebrated with my family in another city and had fun..
I also did the grapes thing ๐ I ate 12 grapes under the table in 1 minute for good fortune ig?? ๐คฃ Just did it for fun tbh but lets see if it works ๐ซฃ
Hbu?? How are you doing so far? And what were your plans during the new year?
Thats sounds fun! Hope I can experience skiing in the future.. It's also cool to know that you still find snow nice bc I usually hear from other people that you eventually get tired of the snow once you are used to it or often see it..
I'm from the Philippines but I plan to work in another country just not sure where exactly since there are many options to choose from, and I'm still carefully deciding which one is the best place to live in alone...
Hbu?? where are you staying right now?? I saw that you live in Paris or Geneva??
Hope you're feeling well now and back to your optimal health.. The weather here right now is a bit colder from the usual since its usually hot here...
Honestly, I don't have that much time watching anime anymore.. I do watch sometimes if I have extra time but now I just read manga more because its more faster than watching anime..
Hbu?? And do you work or still study??
From what I can still remember here are some of the anime scenes that made me cry:
1. Angel Beats: When Yui ๐ฅน And when everyone moves on to the next life..
2. Anohana: When they played hide and seek, and had to tell Menma that they found her so she can move on to the afterlife.. ๐ญ
3. Hotarubi no Mori e: When Gin helped the kid (I was angry during this time ๐) and he disintegrated in the air (Cried so hard because they weren't able to finish hugging other touching completely ๐ญ)
4. Charlotte: Towards the ending when Yuu sacrificed himself by taking away all the abilities and by the end he couldn't remember Nao ๐ฅน
5. Parasyte: The Maxim: I think there was a lot for this one but I forgot some.. When Shinichi saw his parents or was it his mother?? Get sliced; I think there was a kid or baby?? and the mother scene??.. And also when Migi disappeared at the end ๐ฅบ
6. I Want To Eat Your Pancreas: Cried because Sakura-chan didn't succumb to her illness but was killed due to a car accident ๐ฅฒ Also knowing that she read Haruki's message ๐ญ
7. Attack on Titan: Can't list each one but most of the scenes where someone dies ๐ฅน
8. The Girl Who Leapt Through Time: At the end when the mains had to separated since they are from different timelines so Makoto cried hard ๐ฅน
9. Tokyo Ghoul: When Kaneki was holding Hideyoshi in his arms with the bgm (Unravel) was playing.. ๐ฅฒ
Can't remember other scenes because it's been a while.. How about youu?? What were some of the scenes that made you cry??
You just made me sad all of a sudden ๐ฅฒ I had to recall the scenes that made me cry and those that I wanted to forget ๐ I avoid sad stories now because sometimes I have a hard time moving on from them.. But from time to time I read some tragedy stories if it really is worth it or if I can handle the pain ๐
Oooh~ Right! I remember watching Detective Conan too.. At what age did you start watching anime??
That's cool, I'm amazed at people who likes watching psychological animes because I tried watching a bit but I can't really deal with some of the stories because it's too stimulating for me to watch..
What are your favorite psychological and drama anime?
The last anime that I watched and still haven't finished yet is BTOOM! and I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss.. I'll continue watching when I have time.. How about you? Do you have anything you are currently watching? or reading?
I am sort of a romantic person but nope, I don't have a boyfriend at all. What about you? Do you visit it with your lover? I'm pretty sure it's also okay to visit it by yourself. I don't need one but I want one :'D. I heard about the locking their pad on the bridge of love in Paris before, it is very famous. Paris to me and others is like the city of love.
Really? I love to read romance, I can just imagine reading a romance book at the garden in Paris, it would be so nice!
Yes. I am a very... well, somewhat, materialistic person. Right now, I'm only into perfume, body care, and handbags, not so much on jewelry. Paris, I'm sure has everything. At least I know who to ask now if I were to go to Paris. I'm manifesting for it!
Coffee? I love coffee. Seriously, you're the best.
Okay these pictures? WOW. I should just go now. Omg. Nice pictures by the way!
I don't really do much. I can't swim, so that alone cancels out everything but I do go to the beach every now and then. I like driving and eating food in here, there are so many restaurants and cafes here.
I do but you know, money is somewhat always an issue? Hopefully I can start working so I can start traveling. Europe is one in my list, I just wanna go and relax over there. What about you?
UCLA alone is 50,000 dollars. Mine right now is 7,000+, I got lucky. We do have this financial aid that we must apply to every october or december? It helps with the money but not so much when you have a very expensive tuition.
Free school is a must. I knew I should have moved there.
Oh, I must be your ex-classmate because I've drank alcohol and did my school work before and it is nice for some reason but I don't do it often. Espresso does help but sometimes I just want a drink. I remember though that I went to a restaurant with a friend and drank margarita and affogato at the same night. It was nice.
Not really? When I write an essay I write them in a week. Monday would be me planning how I will structure it, Tuesday would be me writing the intro or first paragraph and so on. I don't like doing it in one day so I try to separate the work in a week.
You have visited more states than me. How was New York?
You should come to Hawaii. It's really nice here. Although the weather changes a lot.
Salt Lake City? It is a nice place, I know so little about it but I've heard that it is nice.
And that is a lot of activities to do! Sounds fun.
Well, I like the cold, I like the snow because I haven't experienced until once and I would like to experience it again but you know... it is cold and annoying and yet I still love it.
Me and my friends were going to try that too! You guys are changing drivers right?
For now, I'd say I want to travel to Japan and New York at the same time. I don't know why, it's just I think it would be cool to travel to different places in one to two weeks. And also this one crazy project that involves me pursuing this one career I had in mind while also working. I don't know how but I know I'll be able to do it.
That's a nice plan. I also want to get an apartment but my parents wants me to buy a house and rent it out?
That's good! I also just bought this one book for my mind and to help me really heal myself and it hasn't come in yet. So I've been just journaling again. And getting in shape, yes. Running a lot lately!
Nope, not wine. Soju. Two bottles of soju.
WOW. I need to get there.
I just rested a lot because I returned home from dorm. I needed the rest. I needed to rethink my new year resolutions and drank two bottles of soju! You?
That is true. I don't know why but when it comes to money, I get sensitive.
I've never been to an anime convention but this one looks nice. I did hear that some anime conventions are smelly? Like it smells bad?
Right now, self-worth for me as a person is just how worthy I am as a person to myself. I've been too focused on other people's perception about me that it holds me back, and I realized maybe last year when I started journaling and listening that I am enough. And I know my self-worth, it's not my fault the others don't see that. I do agree that it's important to be confident in yourself. I was never one to think of myself in a negative way before, not even jealousy, if I was jealous it would have been because they bought that one material thing I want and I move on. It's really all about unlocking the mind.
Happy New Year too! Sorry if I'm late!
For New Year resolutions I just want to lose weight and eat more healthy I guess and travel this year. What about you? I also wish nothing but the best for you because you are the best <3
The day was no different than a normal holiday, except that we ate cake. Well, I'm glad it wasn't anything too bad.
I did enjoy the voice-actors' reading event I went to the day after my birthday, so it was a three-day weekend from 11-13, but I think I had a good time.
I live in the country, but I heard that some artists are coming to the concert in June as well...so I hope I can go to the concert as well...
oh at least you can sing at karaokes me you can't make me sing haha I'll just dance if I have to๐
ah that's true a lot of people here go for student visa then they'll go work there and eventually living abroad. tbh I would love to live in other countries BUT I also really love my dogs haha I can't imagine life without them. and also I'm with my senior parents since my older sister is already married and have a family on her own. how about you? is it just you and your younger sibling?
yeah you have travel a lot last year, I hope I can travel this year even just locally haha. but you really deserved to travel since its like a relaxation for you. sometimes you just need to get away from work.
if I'm just at home it's either I'm watching anime, playing games or reading books. but mostly I'm watching haha since I have a long list of to watch animes..
we're pretty opposite last 2023-2024 that's my reconnection era to my old friends. but this year I have a lot of people I have cut off and I don't want to be part of my new year. Im putting myself first this year and focusing to have a better mental health and trying not to be bothered by the things I have no control of.
have a good week!~
