To add: Also Finns like classmates aren't that reliable, like once "oh i'll keep it just the two of us", and then whole school knew of it the next day. Or i started to cry of something because of my supposedly friends, everybody knew of it that too as they put voice messages to group chat that oh this happened etc. Like why whole class has to know that i started to cry or whatever. Also "oh i'm by your side" and next second stabbing in the back or whatever. Many just pretend to be good person while they're not in reality. Also i got new best friend, my previous best friend which was clear we weren't besties anymore, stole my new friend and they both started to gossip and stab in the back and give mean glances as i went to do some assignment with them (before stealing my "best friend"). For you some finnish girls can be pretty whatever but i don't have good experience of them and i know that of 20+ experience, do you have 20 years or over worth of experience or are they just some cheap fun and otherwise you really don't know what they are as a PERSON?

Yeah it was quite irritating but of course i'll wait now for springtime. Here it's you have to pay for final exams, otherwise no.
No here is no refund system, that's why if somebody gets sick, they rarther go to exam while sick cuz otherwise the money will be wasted.
Worse is that they mark this as a first entry in the exam, like you'd have already been there even tho you weren't and spring it's like "second try". They don't like write there that "missed it" or "sick etc". But yes when doing it now on springtime, i have to pay again, true.

I guess i'd study more, as i really don't have money to travel, like last time I traveled was in 2018 and i don't want to work fulltime while studying as it's more stressful.
Oh but half a year, how could you afford it? Did you stay by friends place or rented place/hotel etc, like that already takes money if staying in hotel each time or buying much of things each time.

School is ok, i do prefer freetime and outside school time more of course.
Maybe at times when things go well it's fine, but otherwise not really. What i dislike is like things that teachers put deadlines so close to each other, like not considering that there is already so much to do and they put even more and don't communicate each other but just puts new assignments / exams like that and don't consider the amount of work there is already. Like some exams that are outside exam week are so close to each, like wednesday and instantly other next day, and these are just basic exams after all.

For me i wouldn't like to help such social bums, like why i have give them my hard worked money and i get to keep less than half to myself? Not fair imo. They should do the same here, reduce.

I like to do in Helsinki shopping, before cafes, cinema and hanging around etc. Yeah the christmas market is good, true it's icy.
I think for halloween i will eat snacks/sweets, put decorations etc. I'm not party person really.
I did iceskating/snowman before but these days i just wander in the winter atmosphere xD

I haven't watched any animes for 2 months now *_* i'm so behind with previous anime season and the new one.

No i usually keep things to myself as an introvert (already as a kid) and rather not bother others with them, that's why i don't understand why many are annoyed that i mind my own business and try to shove their own things all of the time to my face, even topics that trigger or annoy me. Also there is always in every school these actual problematic people who bother during classes/bully etc, but teachers always bother me that "oh why i'm so quiet etc" like wtf is problem with that as i'm not making trouble or anything bad with it?
Actually i've never been bullied by boys, it's always girls. Like girls in elementary school lift my skirt (like wouldn't this be more like boy would do but no) and diss me from whatever things. That's why when i went to middle school/highschool i haven't had dresses/skirts anymore but some boring jeans.
That's why if i talk to boys, these girls who try to seek attention from them by purpose get so bitter as i don't try anything and i casually just chat if someone wants to talk with me (and i don't approach anyone, like never).

I guess i usually just listen to music, browse internet, eat etc.

I think it's her problem really, if she will have hard life with no purpose, then be it. Nobody forces her to be trash. Also she started to post half naked pics already as a underage, like imagine that. Also she dressed already as a elementary kid so inappropriately that teachers said that she should have more clothes on and this is school. Also who tf appears during cold winter in some crop top and pants and no jacket, like lmao, isn't she just idiot with no sense of surroundings.
Probably nice to tourists so they can earn money, but to Finns they aren't really the kindest. Like Finland was under Russia and then Sweden so they still think Finns as a pushover who just have to please them (that's why studying in Sweden in school is still forced here, as finland is supposedly two-language country). That's why Finns have better relations to Norway than Sweden.
I think Finnish mind their own business more than Swedish, Swedish people are quite fake at times, Finns are more real.
Lmao true, that's annoying af. Well i'm half Asian so I do look completely Asian, like dark brown hair+eyes and my skin is darker (that's why in elementary someone said that i look like crow or i'm so "black" as i had darkest skin in whole class, which is found disgusting, also exactly these "pretty blonde girls" that you talked about were ALWAYS the ones who bullied me. Those with darker hair didn't. I find blondes stupid af, easy and they don't have anything deeper to them. I really don't understand why anyone would like them, they're just decorations and can't even understand basic things).
Well as a brunette i prefer them more and at times many Finns look quite pale as they have anemia/lack of sunshine and so unhealthy lifestyle, also eating red meat so often that their skin color is more red than light.
Idk as i'm not really interested in romantic relationships or whatever comes with it, they seem so fake so why i should bother with such nonsense.
I think Asian people look the healthiest compared to Finns, also there is more in their appearance than Finns. Finnish girls really don't look unique etc at all, also if they color darker hair, it looks so fake af and the amount of makeup they put as they try to have some kind of appearance is embarassing.
My sleep schedule is normal, i don't see issue with it really. I get up early and go sleep usually decent time and rarely stay awake at night (that's just on holidays i stay awake).

But similarly to you, I have been quite busy with school. There's a lot of homework, for example, essays to write, so it takes time.

Oh, I hate unclean public transportation ... I think in big cities, it is normal that it is not so clean, but apart from Helsinki, I think Finland is quite clean. Here in Japan, the public transportation is so clean, and people talk quietly, so I really like that.

Hmm, what do you mean "fix the boy"? I think that might be the case with some people, which is probably why it's easier to get to know Finns by going to the bar with them lol. Drunk people don't mind so much and talk a lot, Finns are no different :D
Yup, I think there are several pretty / attractive Finnish girls. I don't usually think about it though, and not everyone is like that of course. What about you? Are French women pretty and men handsome?

I'm staying until January, but I asked my school if I can extend my stay until July. I don't know about it yet.
So far I've enjoyed being here. But there are A LOT of people haha. Compared to Finland, this place is stuffed.
And the weather is so hot. It's October, but still almost 30 celsius, which is crazy for me.

Yeah, it's exactly that, some refugees come and do bad things and then people automatically assume, that they are all like that. It's a bit annoying problem, which is why I'm glad I'm not politician, idk what to do :'D
I mean I don't want to give my money to people that have a risk of committing crime, which sounds racist, so people get angry if you say that. But I know it cannot be assumed that a person would commit crime just because he/she is from a certain country.

I think I want to live in Eastern Finland. I've lived there my whole life, except for 2 years in the West. Lapland would be beautiful to live in, but the distance to my relatives and friends would be too long.
Yeah, that sounds exhausting. I don't think people who live to work are very content with their lives. I hope you can break the cycle and find time to enjoy life too.
Well I think remote work would be nice because I can save time when I don't have to go to work. I can also be more relaxed at my home and f.ex. listen to music without earphones. It's also good if I want to take a dog, I can just go for a walk with it when I have a little pause from work!

Hi, I've been alright. My holiday ended at the beginning of September and I started to read to my finals and did my first one, but there came some mistake with the second one so I was going to go there last week's Friday but it had been suddenly changed to Monday and then I realized it on Thursday that was it already and sent message about it and they said that unfortunately yes but they didn't start to blame me cuz it was sudden change in short notice but ofc it's dumb now to pay the final exam fee as I didn't go there. Of course I had a rush to read to the second exam as I had my first one just 2 days earlier before I started to read to the next one so kinda it was for nothing now but at the same time I can do even better now when I'm doing it then on springtime as I missed it this time. I was going to graduate during December but all the subjects etc has to be done by beginning of November which is kinda dumb cuz everything is digital these days so why you need like a complete month for making a graduation paper and be ready with everything. But I graduate now during springtime so in that sense it's just few months difference and for some reason highschool students that graduate during springtime are more appreciated than winter graduates. Maybe cuz springtime there is more graduates so it's more impressive? Also there are like 2 million Finnish people who live by social benefits even tho they're completely healthy and do nothing so if I graduate by few months later so I don't see a problem with it

Helsinki is really just 1 hour away from where I live (if it's not massive rush hour, during that time it can be a little over one hour) so I don't think so as it's so close by so I'm happy where I'm now. That crowds thing sounds dumb cuz it's not like Finland is some very huge country so if not surviving the little crowded here, how they would ever survive some America or UK? Also it really depends on the time, obviously monday-friday work/school days are very crowded but I just went on capital already half past twelve in the morning and there wasn't much people around. Maybe they should live in the countryside if they can't stand such simple crowds and there is much cheaper as there is nothing going on there so you're basically 24/7 at home and nowhere to go in the middle of nowhere.

Here it's been raining and cloudy but at somedays surprisingly sunny so it's alright. It's bit colder cuz of the strong wind but otherwise good. I was sick last time during spring cuz I was so nervous for my first finals exams so clearly the stress etc came up as a flu and fever and that's why I had less time to prepare for those exams (and I started to study when I was sick cuz otherwise it would've been too risky).
As a kid I got very easily sick and also in middle school sometimes but now in highschool no. Clearly my immune system is stronger now and I really get sick only once a year these days. Past few years it's been usually Christmas time and now it was already on spring. For me I don't really like tea, I started to sip coffee since middle school and got myself a coffees machine few years ago which is fun cuz I can sip at home now.

I tested during summer first time Isekai animes, they're surprisingly fun and relaxing and fits the summertime nicely and I liked all of those that I watched. One of them was going to have season 2 now during September and august time but they have some quality issues so it went on hiatus and I didn't start it. Now I havent watched anime for over a month cuz of my finals, last time I watched was on last days of August aka my last holiday days :D I gotta catch up a lots when I get there

Nice, they don't organize anime conventions anymore here as the community is so little, it's been many years since I've been to any. Your conventions are ofc much bigger and versatile than here.

I'm studying last year of highschool, I'm not really fan of school cuz there is always someone who picks me as their eyes stick and bullies me or start to blame for whatever even when I haven't even communicated with them. Like I did some pair work and everything in them and then they're like oh I gossip behind their back or discriminate them like wtf and then they have some few hours schooldays or not even that cuz they skip so much and go blow money on nonsense stores and then I have days beginning at 8am and ending at 4 o'clock in daytime after 8hrs, also 1hour per direction so = 10 hours 😴 idk what I'll do tho, maybe study more would be realistic but at the same time toxic School system would be nice to leave it finally behind as many students are so toxic and users and I was still in my previous highschool nasty pushover for others and really didn't prioritize myself, which I'm trying to get better at and have more courage to do my own things and not be bothered by others

I don't think any students here struggle financially as even some students live by social benefits and even LIVE in the capital like who tf lives in capital as a student? Now when they're planning to decrease the student benefits they're like "omg I can't go to restaurants and shopping anymore" like how about getting job and fund your shopping and eating yourself like tf, also my previous classmate really didn't study at all, lived in the capital at parent's house and gave her ridiculous amount of money so shes skipping classes and buys nonsense all day from stores and then she appears at school without books etc. Then they suggested oh get some part-time job and she was like no she rather get sugar daddy like wtf, is this normal thoughts of highschool student or what? Then she poses like half naked in Instagram as "studying doesn't interest her" and she even had risk she's not going to graduate from middle school as she was already was so bad in there and didn't see no effort in anything (question is of course wtf she's doing in highschool then and why she's so facking cheap).

I've been to Sweden for day trip few times and I think the people are kinda dull compared to Finnish people, not to mention swedish people like to do plastic surgery so that's one thing, I don't like wax faces but normal ones like we have in Finland ;D also many people are like pretending that they don't know English or Finnish so you're forced to talk to them in Sweden as they're so arrogant.

I really use the most train/busses always, I've never had a car and public transportation is so good in here so those who have car look quite dumb in here and quite helpless as they're so used to going with car and when they have to use once a bus they have dramatic show of it that "omg they gotta use a bus" 🙄

As a elementary kid I really did just compulsory things and nothing extra and played video games often, I started to see more effort when going to middle school and cuz of that I haven't played video games in ages. In middle school I had time to go dancing classes and gym but now I have very rarely time to go to gym but I do some other exercises instead so I'm in good shape still.

I've done last 2 summertime some summer jobs but this year I decided to take it easily. Full-on part-time job I've never.
I'm trying to get back to my creative things as I've had few years break from them, I've done some drawings/editing during summer which was nice.
I'm stressed if there is plenty of things to do, like when I had now finals there was so much to cover and things to remember. I think I relax these days by listening to music, reading/watching something lightweight and just watching some baking videos xD

Here is so much less people than in France so it's understandable it's not that big business here. Of course I wouldn't been reading that actively manga if I would've been dependant on Finnish translations, I read often in English as Finnish translations aren't always guaranteed and can be stopped suddenly, like the one I had been reading over 10+ volumes and they stopped translations cuz the sales were low so I've been waiting years for the English translation to catch up cuz the Finnish version was actually ahead of the English one. That's why they've raised the Finnish manga prices in here so it covers the losses. I haven't really checked the reselling things but they do restock really never and the reissued manga that I'm following now is actually 2nd pressing of it and it's manga from early 2000s.

I think swedish words (some of them) remind me more of English words rather than Finnish ones. I had in my previous school many french classmates who knew good English but not at all Finnish or swedish and one didn't know even English which was kinda strange cuz like it can't be that one student gets exception to write in french the exams when others can't. But they returned after a while to french so 🤔

I'm more of a night person (even tho now I've been very sleepy cuz of the exams so not now but during summertime yes) but I did last Sunday wake up already at 9 o'clock in the morning which was quite exceptional cuz I usually sleep during weekend time more xD that's why I was already in the capital at half past twelve and actively everywhere ;D but it was good, I guess I'm mixture of both at times lol

They're really abusing the system, it's like oh it's easier to live by social benefits than actually try to accomplish something yourself as you're completely healthy and all that but they're just so lazy
