๐ Travel Adventures in 2023:
2023 has been an extraordinary year for me, filled with memorable travels. Here's a snapshot of my journeys:
๐จ๐ฆ Canada (Montreal): Battled through snowstorms in February. Despite the freezing weather โ๏ธ, the heartwarming people ๐ซ and relaxing sauna experiences ๐ง made it worthwhile.
๐บ๐ธ USA (Florida): A mix of work ๐ and pleasure ๐ด. Participated in a school project on rocket design and later enjoyed the sunny beaches of Miami. The huge food portions ๐ and lively parties ๐, especially among the Spanish community, were quite the experience!
๐ณ๐ฑ The Netherlands: A serene family trip exploring beautiful gardens ๐ท. Capturing the tranquility and beauty was simply amazing.
๐ฆ๐น Austria (Vienna): A brief visit, yet so enriching. Vienna's stunning cities and museums ๐๏ธ left a lasting impression - a place worth living in.
๐ซ๐ฎ Finland: An adventure with friends to see the aurora borealis ๐ and sled rides through snowy forests ๐ฒ pulled by foxes ๐ฆ. While Finland's high living costs are notable, its beauty and the recent accolade of being the best country to live in are undeniable.
Dream Destinations: Japan ๐ฏ๐ต and South Korea ๐ฐ๐ท top my travel wish list.
Life's Philosophy:
Life is a complex tapestry of experiences ๐. We might not always grasp its lessons immediately, but they shape us nonetheless. My mantra? Live fully, lose with grace, and always dare to dream again. Life's truly beautiful when you embrace it fearlessly ๐ช.

Firstly, I am very sorry for such a late reply.
My life has gone through so much changes these past few years honestly, but in the end everything has turned out great!
About your question about Turkiye before; I would suggest visiting The Aegean part of Turkiye (opposite of Greece) which is my hometown. You can visit especially Mugla in summer, I'm sure you would love it there.
Have you graduated already? Was it an instutition and not an university?
These past few years I worked with an artist teacher and created my own animation&design portfolio and recently got accepted into some top universities in South Korea so in a few month I'm moving there!
I grew up in a family full of doctors and business grads, and my education was mainly focused on science as well. I always loved maths too. Art was my childhood dream which I gave up on early in life but now that I'm back on track let me tell you my opinion. People who are good at math usually are good at drawing. In my case, my creativeness is better than my skills and my creative side comes from my mother who is a biochem specialized doctor. So maybe you have a side you haven't discovered yet too. Art can be in many forms and can be seen in many fields of life. <3
Merry Christmas, happy belated birthday and happy 2025! Hope we can talk again!! Take a good care of yourself. Thank you for still reaching out to me!!
Aw, why did you overwork yourself?
Yes, I do make a plan with my office friends to go out for lunch at least once a month. We work in different parts of the city, so that works well for us. And you?
WFH showed how office hours are a scam. Those who want to work, will finish their work within a few hours and those who won't work, will sit in their office chairs doing nothing for 7 hours.
> In France, when you try to confront someone directly you can be killed.
?????
Are you referring to the increasing crimes committed by immigrants??
My pension will be sufficient to live off a decent life. IDK if it would be enough to buy a house. I don't need one, btw. I have my father's home to call my own. What about your retirement? Will you get pension?
Govt jobs pay low wages all over the world. Private companies always offer more but then their work hours are insane and they have a very competitive work environment there.
Ahahaha. Do you remember me making a comment about how growing old sucks for your body? Seems like your old age has begun ;p
I have no plans for NY. I don't celebrate it.
School sucks but I survived. I wrote a 2000 word essay with 7 sources and 16 page research paper. I remember having to drink five shots of espresso just to stay awake. Technically, the university is close but an hour away. It's better than it being in another island but because some of my classes are 5pm or 6pm, I had to go on a dorm instead. And I had a great roommate. That was luck. Debt does suck, I have a debt for student loans but I'm working on trying to pay it, hopefully? My parents does help me financially. We also have this system in america called FAFSA. Every year, college students would apply for it to get money to pay for their college, you can have an option to just accept scholarships or loans, or both. That does help financially.
Have you visited America yet? I think you can say it was because I was influenced. I wanted to go to Los Angeles because of the beach and the places to go there. New York in the other side, is something I would like to go to or stay in, career-wise, although I'm not pursuing it yet, I'm trying to work on it. And I also like how cold New York is, I just love the cold weather even though I hate it sometimes.
To be honest, I haven't even thought about building a family yet. I still feel young, if you know what I mean? But now I'm starting to realize that the option is open because most of my old classmates are either married or they have a child. But for me, I'd like to be married at least at my 30s. I would like to settle somewhere in the city and in a sub-division. Rural isn't so bad either. Hawaii would be nice but it is too expensive. And you're right, some cities are indeed are just not affordable in general and it sucks :'D. How about you?
Really? I like both. That's surprising.
I don't do any of it. But I'd say I like shopping. I don't know why but it just distracts me if I were doing too much school work. I also like hanging out with my friends like going to the beach or also writing because I do like writing. Watching anime now, reading books, apparently. You?
Wiiinnneeee? Sorry, I swear I'm not an alcoholic but wine? I like wine. I'll go to that place just for wine.
Japan is in my options to visit so I could meet my roommate. But yes, the ticket is the problem. I'm always just overthinking about the money. Excuse me, an anime convention in front of tower eiffel? What? That's new.
And no, I haven't. I thought about it but then it's always somewhere far, like in another island so I don't go.
Nope, I rely on my parents. We don't live in Honolulu, that would have been so bad. But I do plan to work after I graduate, maybe after my first year of my masters.
It's that case where you don't see the way people see you. You are probably so smart. And I agree with you. A job that pays to be honest is enough for me. I really want to start making money so I can also provide support for my parents.
I don't really think about it as much. Running does help with it, I guess. And my mom says that too, that it's important to not be stressed. I also do a lot of journaling and manifestations these days to really stop the bad thoughts about myself. Right now, it did help me to see my self-worth as a person. So that does help. I don't get stressed that much, maybe when I was still a math major, that one realllllyyy sucked.
If that's the case, I must be VERY greedy :'DDDDD
Merry christmas~!
Keep safe and God bless!! ๐๐ป๐
Anyways, I want to see snow too ๐ฅน since we don't have snow where I live.. Hope that you're in good health and that the weather over there is good..
Thankss!! Inuyasha is like my bias since it was the series that made me watch Anime.. Actually I added youuu since I also liked your favorites esp. frieren, I want to eat your pancreas, apothecary diaries, and ORV ๐ค
Hmm I think I am?? Well being empathetic can be considered emotional as well right?? ๐ Lets just say I'm a crybaby if there are scenes that are very deep, emotional, and engaging.. How about you?
Hmmm I started anime when I was 6 y/o when I first watched Inuyasha being played on TV.. Then I got addicted and tried finding similar stories like Kamisama Kiss, Gugure Kokkuri-san and etc.. Then eventually after finishing all the series that had the same plot I ventured to other kinds of plot and genre as well.. And up until know I still love watching anime ๐ฅฐ My favorite genre would be Shoujo & Romance for Anime but for Manga I like both Martial Arts, Action, and Romance.. ๐
How about youu?? ๐
Well, I've had quite many exams, but I've been able to go sightseeing as well, so I think the balance is ok.
Essays are ok, if the subject is interesting and there's a lot to say. But sometimes it's hard to understand. Right now, I'm doing a big report about Finland's school system in Japanese. It's not too bad, but I just don't enjoy writing non-fiction much.
Yeah, I've experienced the rush hour in public transportation here in Japan too and it's the worst lol. I'm so glad I don't have to take the train to school and back.
What are they protesting for?
In Finland there are sometimes strikes. But you have to inform about it before hand, so everyone can prepare. Haven't affected my life tbh.
There's snow in Paris? That's nice, I'm envious. I don't think it will snow this year in Chiba. Yesterday was 17 Celsius haha.
Well, in the city, there's not much outdoor activities ig. But I had a holiday and I went to climb a mountain!
Ohhh, so just stare ahaha. Yup, I think there are people who do that. If you can spend the silence with someone and be comfortable, you know you have found a soulmate, I think.
I'm okay with a drinking date, if it's casual drinking. Not until you can't walk, but for example while eating or having a talk. But a walk in the garden sounds more fun.
In my mind, I picture the French men being quite stylish. Do you think so? In Finland, some men just wear whatever lol
Ahaha, I think all girls are a bit like that. It's stereotypical. In Finland we have a saying that basically means "the woman is another woman's enemy". Which is quite sad.
I usually go with the level they go with. If the foreigner starts talking about the weather, I know it's small talk. If they want to talk about politics, I know it's going to go a bit deeper haha.
The extension decision will come mid December, so I don't know yet. I don't have a part time job. I think I will survive ok, with my money. I've been able to try foods I want to try and experience festivals etc. but still manage my money quite well.
Do you think you are good at making and staying on budgets?
Well, yes, it's closer to Russia, but I feel most at home there. Hmm, I think Sweden will help Finland if Russia starts a war. Even though Finland and Sweden have a sibling-like rivalry, we are still like comrades. I don't know if they are building an army for that, I highly doubt it, but I'm sure we are preparing for the worst.
In Finland men have to go to the army, but women can also go. We don't have separate units for women and men. But Finland is now part of Nato, so I don't think Russia would attack Finland. It would be too risky and stupid.
Yes, remote work can be lonely too. I hope you get to enjoy your free time at least.
Thank you! I hope you have a nice day too!
Thankyou for the friend request. It is nice to meet you :)
How are you doing?
I'm good just busy with work stuff so I'm not that active in MAL.. How bout you??
