Hunter x Hunter

Both hunter x hunter and berserk involve lots of complex mindgames and emotional conflicts. They are truly dark and not for the faint of heart. Black haired emotional guy becomes best friend of white haired emotionless guy. There is betrayal, death, revenge to be found all around. PS: Both are still running series in hiatus, so I don't think you will have any problems with one if you read another.

Noragami

In both of them, the main character meets a deity/mermaid while on the edge of dying and hilarity ensues. Noragami is little darker in comparison to Seto No Hanayome, however both of them have their fun filled moments and the anime art style. Noragami also relies on fantasy a lot and has a good amount of action. There is a whole lot of material from the first episode to make you laugh your heart out.

Youjo Senki

Both series revolve around a female protagonist who is psychotic in nature. They also make magnificent decisions and are also well skilled in fighting. Both of the anime are pretty dark in nature and while Mirai Nikki revolves around a survivor game, Youjo Senki revolves around a war. But every war is a survivor game right? If you are a fan of mind bending genre of anime like I am, where you like heroes choosing life changing decisions, then Mirai Nikki is the one for you.

Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu

If you want a series which focuses on the fault of the main characters and the ways they overcome them, Re:Zero is the one for you. Both the main characters have a cool superpower which also serves to break the character. They both experience the consequences of their powers at one point or another. Not to mention the fact that due to this power, both of them become haughty and acquire a god-like complex. Both Lelouch and Subaru are skilled in their own ways. Their adventures are well made and you get to see their decisions at each and every place. Re:Zero is quite dark, but it is also very funny. Subaru is not tactically intelligent, but he does make some good decisions, which may even rival Lelouch's. There is plenty of action, humor and character development in the series. The series is well written and is a new premise. Must watch for those who like games.
