...then you might like Savage Garden add

In both stories, the main characters have lost their faith and trust in the world. It soon becomes evident that the only thing keeping them going on in life are their relationships with others, and even more importantly, the relationship they find with their special other. Though these stories are of different genre (shounen ai vs. gender bender), the romance in these two stories both give an outer-worldly feel to them that are hard to find in manga now a days. They prove that even when life kicks you down, love will always be there for you and help you get back up.

...then you might like Eden no Ori add

Cage of Eden is basically like Highschool of the Dead except, you know, better. Though both manga are set in a world of fantasy, CoE has a much more realistic tone to it. The characters are generally more likable, realistic, and relatable. Plus, I appreciate the fact that though both are kinda ecchi, the girls in CoE have breasts that, though still rather large, are not as ridiculously sized as it is in HoD (I honestly began to question whether they were really human and not just a pair of boobs with a small head and body attached for decoration). I always find myself going back to CoE to reread it over and over again. Though I admit that when I originally read Highschool of the Dead, it was extremely thrilling and I was totally pulled in, coming back and rereading it again, it just doesn't compare with the complexity and depth you find in CoE. Highschool of the dead is still a pretty great read if you just want something you can breeze through and get some kind of thrill from, but if you want a deeper plot with a great cast of characters that experience significant development, Cage of Eden is your best bet. :]

If you liked Under (xGround) Grand Hotel add

...then you might like Hoshi no Yakata add

Both are very explicit and graphic and contain a lot of smut, yet still maintain a set of extraordinary characters, a fabulous plot, and is super enjoyable to the max. Also, they're both really really hot. As a warning, both are quite hardcore in the sense that UGH contains quite a bit of rape and Hoshi no Yakata centers around S and M, BUT please don't be turned off by them because of those sole reasons because it would really be a shame if you missed out on reading them. Despite all the sex and dark stuff, they're both truly incredible reads.

If you liked Otomen add

...then you might like Cyboy add

Both mangas have extremely original story lines and even more exceptional art. Story wise, they share a main male lead who has to put on a facade as a cool, manly person for one reason or another. Both male leads have a main character with some sort of "flaw" where in Otomen, the main lead has feminine hobbies, while in PSI boy the main lead is socially awkward. In addition to similar male leads, in both mangas there is a best friend that helps the lead protect his true identity, and a girl who the male has romantic feelings for and, in turn, is inspired to show more of his true personality. Both mangas are extremely well done and if you liked either one, i'm positive that you'll enjoy the other as well.

...then you might like My Girl add

Though the main characters are quite different personality wise, they both fall into a situation where they become the guardians of a child they just met. They are both so adorably sweet, that it may just be impossible to stop smiling after you read them. I read Aisthieruze Baby first and loved it. I read many similar types of manga afterwards but by far, My Girl is the most similar in the feel the manga gives you. Both these stories are more than just a cute story about a man and a little girl. It's about life lessons, the power of strong relationships and how, a lot of the times, relationships can heal the deepest of scars.

If you liked Kouun no Rihatsushi add

...then you might like add

Ju-Jun Battle and a short one shot in Kouun no Rihatsush both have a main character that is sex-obsessed. Even though the story in kouun no Rihatsush is extremely small, it's still a really great read and quite funny. Both stories were quite enjoyable but be warned, there is an excessive amount of yaoi.

If you liked Iryuu: Team Medical Dragon add

...then you might like Wild Life add

Both these manga revolve around medicine. Though Wild life is medicine for animals and TMD is for humans. TMD is also more concentrated on showing the corruption in a medical university while Wild life is more care free and comical. Both are great medical manga and if you liked reading one of them, you'll most likely like the other too!

If you liked Fire Candy add

...then you might like Yellow Heart add

Both are by the same mangaka. Both are crazy sick manga, full of sex, drugs, and violence. The main character(s) in Fire candy and Yellow heart, have strange infatuations with violence. Fire Candy concentrates more on drugs, friendship, and violence, while Yellow Heart mainly concentrates on sex and violence. Both have very dark tones, though i would say Fire Candy is more pure and innocent in the means of their characters, though they do have many violence streaks therefore making them pretty demented. Of course, in the most awesome of ways. Oh and by the way, both have incredible art. Obviously because they have the same mangaka, but nonetheless, the characters are all just so attractive and a lot of the scenes are deliciously morbid (lol xP). The covers found on MAL do not do them justice, so I really recommend you check these manga out before you literally judge them by their cover.

...then you might like Iryuu: Team Medical Dragon add

Both mangas have a main character that is, shall we say, eccentric, bold, and impulsive. The main character has to fight against a corrupt sort of system and the people the people that are trying to "protect it". Both main characters have a sort of essence to them that saves the people around them from being "sucked" into the system.

If you liked Vagabond add

...then you might like Shin Angyo Onshi add

Both mangas are in the perspective of incredibly skilled fighters. Additionally, the protagonists in both are actually 'people' that learn, grow, and don't become strong in the blink of a page. Yet, quite possibly, they are some of the strongest characters ever created. Both contain an art style that is basically a traditional realistic style. Vagabond is more of the journey of a growing samurai, while Shin Angyo Onshi has a definite antagonist which the protagonist is striving to overcome. Both are very incredible reads that have characters, in the bunch loads, that give very strong impressions. While reading, you can tell that both of the mangas give off similar feelings that make you feel like you're watching a definite point in history (even if, for most of the part, it is fiction)

If you liked D-ash add

...then you might like Complex add

Both are romance series where you can watch the main characters grow up from child hood to being adults. Both of them also are pretty sporty, though D-ASH is more revolved around a sport than Complex. Complex is boyxboy while D-ASH is the old fashioned girlxboy. Plus Complex brings the characters all the way to the old man stage while D-ASH stops at the adult stage. I can truly say I loved reading both of them and that though if you love one, you may not love the other (considering the difference in 'types' of romance), but they do relate in many ways and if you don't mind either genre than i'm sure you'll enjoy them both.

If you liked Bukiyou na Silent add

...then you might like Kanashii Kotoba add

both yaoi. Shares a character who somewhat unable to communicate, and another character that understands the disabled character cause he loves him so. Silent is more detailed and well-developed then kanashii. But Kanashii is still a cute read.

If you liked Gantz add

...then you might like Zodiac Game add

Both are mangas that deal with games that play with life and death. Both have characters who are killed then revived to fight in a "game" of life. Battles with monsters determine whether you will be able to live the next day or not. Though, GANTZ deals with a lot of sci-fi idealogies, including technology and 'aliens'.

...then you might like Baccano! add

Well, the genres are completly different if I may say so myself but when concerning the characters, both anime are on par. Both Gintama and Baccano! have instant love characters and they both invlude characters that are so crazy, it's simply hilarious.
