I'll just make a short review. Because despite this anime being wholesome at times, there are things that made me uncomfortable. Not uncomfortable actually, i was just wondering if some parts of the premise was even necessary.
First of all, this anime was supposed to be about gender change. Male turned to female (loli? somehow??). However it never really focuses on the mc (mahiro's) male counterpart. All 12 episodes of it were all about how to live as a girl and enjoy the priviliges of being a girl and have fun as a girl. It only shows you the rainbows and sunshine of gender

change.
Although i am not really against gender change, i am a bit confused with how the anime is presented. Take for example, if mahiro was born a girl, still a hikikomori but then his sister take her out of the room and help him fix his social anxieties it'd still be the same story. The moral of the story didn't change, that is to show people who've had struggle with their social life to gain a little bit of confidence and find a place where they can be themselves. Yet the gender change was somehow thrown into the premise. And it is almost irrelevant to the story at all. It'd be great if we get to know more about his life when he was a male. But nope. This somehow turned into your regular cgdct show. Like what's the point of gender change at all? This anime is obviously romanticizing gender change. I wouldn't mind if both sides of his gender were highlighted. But only focusing on his loli form seems unfair to me.
Nevertheless, i enjoyed how relaxing and wholesome the anime can be. I just thought that it could've been better if it wasn't a cgdct. Because tbh it never felt like mahiro was ever a man at all. And that is a bit unsettling.
