How I rate anime in here, I'd blatantly say: very objectively. I make sure to balance out my personal satisfaction and feeling (of course it's again in MHO) . You can choose what to believe, but this was according to what I handwrote on book, my criteria to rate anime.

First I decide about what kind of atmosphere the anime have (relax/tense) on a level [-3] to [+3] (minus for relax & plus for tense). According to that I may exclude some criteria like I exclude enjoyment on story transition at plus category. For too chaotic (-3), I exclude Fundamental to make it fair to pure comedy and parody anime. But I still give some anime (f.e: Working!) fundamental score since it had some plot and tiny bit fundamental (it still real world compared to danshi koukosei). Similar happen to very tense (+3) anime (Mahoutsukai no Yome) as I remove the enjoyment from the transition criteria. Criteria has score from 0 to 5.0. The criteria look like this:
-Character
-Fundamental
-Transition+Enjoyment
-Story
-Misc
and then I sum it all, multiply by 2 then mean it average into overall score.

Example would be D-Frag!:
Relax (-3)
Family/Women Friendly: D
Character: 4.0
Fundamental: - this shows had no correlation in real life or had some stable structure to it's logic and fact. Thus I exclude the fundamental.
Trans+Enjoyment: 5.0
Story: 3.5
Misc: 5.0
Overall rate: (8.75/10) then it would be score 9 in MAL.
