Both show the struggles of being a single parent caring for children. They are slice-of-life anime that are really really heartwarming.

...then you might like Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou desu yo? add

They both take place in some sort of fantasy/supernatural game world. The male leads in both anime are extremely powerful. They have a similar atmosphere.

If you liked Mirai Nikki (TV) add

...then you might like Sword Art Online add

SAO is more fantasy like while Mirai Nikki is more gory, but they both deal with being trapped in some sort of game. A game that is suppose to be fun is turned into a living nightmare as they fight for their own survival.

If you liked Lovely★Complex add

...then you might like Kimi ni Todoke add

They both deal with romance and unique relationships. In Lovely Complex, you see the relationship between a very tall girl with a very short boy. In Kimi ni Todoke there is also an awkward relationship between a shy girl and a popular boy. Both female leads also make hilarious expressions! ^o^

They are made by the same animation company so the art is VERY similar. The characters in both animes are very cute and lovable. Both have the same "slice of life/school life" atmosphere.

If you liked Durarara!! add

...then you might like Steins;Gate add

Both shows start off very slow paced, but eventually builds up to an intense plot. Although the plot is completely different, they both gave off a similar vibe. There is a lot of suspense and unexpected plot turns.
