I'm really bad at introductions, so lets get straight to the point:
Story: 7/10
As a romance manga, and especially a harem, the story isn't the main focus, and the plot usually stems from the character interactions. As far as Nisekoi goes, this isn't really an exception. The main characters give off a total Romeo and Juliet vibe, with a similar setting, and despite that anyone who's had public schooling has read this to death, it doesn't feel too stale and provides plenty of humor. Otherwise, the fairly straight forward high school setting with most of the Cliche that follow it. It loses a few points for

that, but otherwise the plot holds up and allows for good reading.
Art: 8/10
In my opinion, Komi Naoshi does a very nice job of presenting his characters. From the first chapter to the current, the art is consistent and easy to follow. The characters look nice and the backgrounds are simple, yet effective to reach the point he wants to achieve. Some manga, like Bleach, you see the author start kind of rough with the drawing, but come into their own. With Nisekoi, I never got that feeling. The biggest plus is that the characters are believably proportioned! No high school girls with boobs bigger than the rest of their bodies, and Raku and Shuu legitimately look like they belong in high school. To me, that was rather refreshing.
Characters: 8/10
Any romance manga is only as interesting as it's characters. Fortunately, Nisekoi does well in this aspect. All of them provide something to the story, and the interactions between all of them provide plenty opportunities for humor and heart-warming moments. It's difficult to feel attachment for fictional characters, but week after week I find myself wanting to see what this lovable band of everyday teenagers are going to get themselves into. And most importantly, you can see how the characters learn and grow as the manga progresses, and that makes it all worth investing the time into it.
There are a few negatives, though. As I mentioned earlier, there are the typical romance cliches, and some of them do make an appearance. Especially towards Onodera.
Also, two of the more recent characters tend to feel "forced." Kinda like they are there to add weight to the manga. However, sometimes it kind of backfires, as not all weight is good weight. In particular, the character Tachibana kind of grates on me and feels the most generic of all the characters.
Overall: 8/10
Despite it's few negatives, Nisekoi is a very good read for anyone interested in the romance genre. The negatives don't feel like a real detriment and I find myself at the end of every weeks chapter quicker than I'd like to. Never once have I ever felt like putting off a chapter or felt like I was wasting my time.
To sum it up for you: Don't expect a ground breaking plot, but you can expect to smile and laugh at the mishaps of Raku and his friends. Definitely one of my top mangas.
8/10 is actually quite an achievement from me, since I've given a whole three series a perfect 10, and even then I am still trying to find ways to justify why they maybe shouldn't be. I'm weird and like to judge things.
This was actually my first review here, so thanks to all those who read it and I hope those who were on the fence can find themselves a very good reading experience.
