I can't stop. I can't look back. I have to keep going.
My palms continue to sweat as I shake in fear.
As my knees gradually grow weaker with every aching step, the weight of my arms becomes heavier and heavier.
My vision starts to blur as I feel the world spinning around me.
When I need fresh air the most, the stench of vomit suddenly surrounds me.
I gag at the scent and look down at my sweater only to see it covered in puke.
I can feel myself slowly losing consciousness.
Before I black out, the image of what started this whole mess floods my mind.
This was all because of… mom’s spaghetti.
