Hi, I'm from Montréal and I've been an otaku for most of my life. I mostly go by Gomizilla (ゴミジラ) online, as in "Godzilla", but with the added "mi" character in Japanese making it sound like "Trashzilla".

I have always been watching anime, but I only started watching a wider range of genres right after I joined MAL.

Fun fact: I have been using an anime list since even before MAL existed. My first anime list was a simple .txt file that I kept for years in the late 2000s until I overwrote it with an old backup copy by mistake (cloud storage wasn't mainstream back then).

I like to watch anime without being influenced too much by popular opinion. I see myself as a free thinker and I'd like to keep it that way even in the anime realm. Watching anime is all about having fun after all.
