I own this - I have heared the good reviews and upon picking up the DVD, the flattery continues; this is said to rival the works of Studio Ghibli (which I love) - my point being that I when into this wanting to enjoy it...
What a dissapointment. :(

Story...
A teen boy ends up getting roped into multipul conflicts that pretty much blow up at the same time upon accompanying a teen girl to her grandmothers countryside home; he must then work along side her family in order to save the world in a race against the clock.
This gives off the illusion of character progression, when the ... whole thing seemed rushed and convenient, though there is grounds for a decent discussion on the importance of technology in everyday life, so that boosts the story up to a 7/10.

Art...
Lovely, 10/10.

Sound...
The vioces are fine, the music threwout fits, no problems, 10/10

Characters...
The element that drags the entire movie down!
We have a set-up many of us have seen; nerdy, quiet, nice guy with no backbone putting himself out for the; pretty, popular, bossy girl 'many guys would dream of dating'.
He ends up amungst her family forced to go along with her lie.
The characters we get to know are her family; a tough self righteous gran, a stroppy young teen recluse cousin, an outcast, cool uncle and a range of mouthy individuals who aren't short of something to say.
There is an attempt to add some depth to the characters by giving the significant ones an interest, however, all interests are simply convenient for the plot inwhich said characters really don't need to be in the same place at the same time, but thankfully are.

Enjoyment...
Not too much really?
The plot is fine; it's actually quite clever and there where some pretty well though out moments in this story that proved a touching- the odd few scenes were enjoyable.

Overall...
This will be on my shelf for years - taking up space.
It's a shame the story is executed fairly well, but the really is evidence that characters make a movie, and within Summer Wars, they really aren't worth it.
I'll add that I'm an individual who has watched a lot of anime and find it easy to spot when many corners have been cut - this is a prime example - very lazy.
My pre-teen sister however loves this movie.

When watching this, my mind invented a philosophical saying I should get halmarked, remeber people, I said it first:
"You obtain a wonderful large, one of a kind book, this book is very well written, highly valuable - you can't wait to read it.
Along the way, you incure a very, VERY tiny tear towards it's spine, most people won't notice.
You eventually get to the end of this book, yet you remember that insignifican tear somewhere within the book.
What do you do?...
Leave it alone and stick eith the notion of it being unlikely to draw attention to itself?
Or
Do you get sticky tape to patch it up - ... erasing the tear, yet making the book look worst?"
The latter option applies to this OVA!

Story...
This relies on filling in cracks which wheren't really there, just to prove something has been done - a lot like throwing an additional, unnessessary 200 adjectives into your well written story just so you can say "the story is longer then before" and give off the illusion of finer detail, when accutally, the oly thing your doing is dragging the thing out.
The OVA occurs during a very popular and importiant part of the story us viewers all know well, but we don't particullarly follow our main, this time, we 'alledgedly' see the story threw the eye's of temporary sidekick at the time Misao - really, we don't - Misao is simply a window for the first time viewer who's just watching to see what happens next, there isn't too much narrative from her and she's almost completely out of character.
Throw the above into the mix with this - there is no particular main character!
The story consists of the characters we know doing what we know they were doing/capiable of at the time, we see pretty much just as much of Misao's viewpoint as we do of:
- Kaoru and Yahiko on a fairly insignificant leg of their journey in pursuit of Kenshin (such as riding on a boat, which they'd obviously do, walking threw the woods taliking about nothing particularly importiant and doing chores whilst freeloading with Hiko - all of their events are uneventful and receive roughtly less then a minute in screentime)
- Shishio getting challenged by nobodies (who within the series liked the guy? we knew he was strong, so what chances are these saps going to stand, and don't expect a fight scene)
- Kenshin in re-cycled scenes (fight scenes that have been edited into a significantly less violent, short burst of energy)

On that final point^, I'll move onto the scenes... ??? Lousy!?
These fights are not re-mastered, they are lazy - highly uneventful, though nothing can really happen to be honest as they're trying to stick to what is cannon, there is pretty much no re-master scenes, it's almost fairl to say their is no fight scene; it's a redux in animation with the actual 'action' being cut out of fast tracked - it's as if we're getting a 4Kids cencored version of what we saw previously.
The lack of lack of deatil in the movement and character design in general screems 'low budget' - which takes me to the art.

Art...
Rurouni Kenshin is classed as an 'older' anime, the art style back then appeared to focused heavily on as many regions of fine detail possible.
After watching this OVA, I appreciate the old art style even more now!
The art style in this OVA is what you see in many anime's today - very 2D looking basic sketches with little enthesis on; body proportions, facial features and shading; highly unfluid in movement; at times, just a still face-and-body forward figure with a moving mouth - like a cardboard cut-out.

Everyone pretty much looks the same - as if three nude character designs where illustrated and the entire cast was created simply by 're-colouring' them. The characters have lost their individuality - all the girls are 'pretty', with virtually the same undetailed, almost vaccant, dazed face that lacks a hint of character - for example, we have Shishio's girlfriend Yumi - originally, she's pretty enough but has a bit of a 'harsh' look to her, now, she has a softer look and even appears to have a smaller (more feminien).
Basically, they have conformed to modern anime art - some detail in the eyes, but nothing else, which is fine with modern anime and would be fine if this is how things looked in the first place, but compare the before and after - this is a downgrade and a half!

Sound...
The backing music is nothing special, either is the ending track - they just fit, so make of that what you will. ;)
The characters voices sound fine.

Characters...
Like a poor fanfic - the personality is absent with the cast in this OVA.
Remember back to how they all behaved at the time in the anime:
Kenshin
Was - quite positive and approachable yet was on a serious journey, basically, a non nonscence character who wasn't cold.
Now - vaccant, not 'mean' vaccant, but just 'dazed straight faced' vaccant.
Misao
Was - high energy, naive, mouthy teen girl with a goal.
Now - fairly sensible and quite.
Kaoru
Was - a tsundere who was pretty stroppy, somewhat grown up but selfishly idealistic.
Now - sensible sweet girl in love who takes what's going on in her stride.
Yahiko
Was - an energetic pre-teen who could do with keeping is gob shut at times.
now - fairly sensible, only a little mouthy.
Basically, everyone has taken a 'chill pill'; they have been all sculpted into 'insert' characters and the Mary Sue versions of themselves - someone who has never seen the anime tuning into this wouldn't know anything about their personalities; something the anime manages to put forward in virtually any and every appearance a character makes; no matter how small.

Enjoyment...
All I have listed above tells me that production are simply heavily reliant on suporters of the series getting excited at some new* material coming out whilst ignoring the content which little to no effort has been applied to.
This OVA is just like a poor fanfic that occurs during cannon times, inwhich the author has copied and pasted the some of the ep' description and synced it into their work to cut corners, whilst they have no intention of bringing anything original to the table.
Almost enjoyment really. :(

Overall...
Waste of time, no matter what your expectations and preferances are - this is pretty much a very mellowed out re-cap.

If you read the manga and like me, were looking forward to this adaptation - prepare for a dissapointment, that is, if you bother to watch this...

Basically, someone has taken this story and though...
"How can I make this fairly well known story that bit more popular? I know! I'll make it a lot less mature (i.e. easier to follow) and conform to idealism by throwing in some well known cliche's - newbie's and the more impressionable viewers will eat this all up!"
... and her we have this hour long OVA. I'll expand on the above...
Originally, a young couple are at sea, when they see something ... highly curious; this 'horror' tourments them wherever they go - true harrassment via an unlikely offender. After acting in an arguablely unreasonable and paranoid manner - the girl soon becomes ill, her boyfriend, who is somewhat in the loop when it comes to science and has sceintific connections, works hard to find answers to this mystery whilst avioding constant peril and virtual isolation - it's a true horror story.
In this OVA, we have his girlfriend as the leading character - and isn't she an angel. She's on a hoilday with her friends - she is made aware of this horror, takes it in her stride, goes to 'rescue' her boyfriendwho's in trouble, whilst not knowing hat's going on and not really having a clue; erazing the formality that existed beforehand - along the way, she meets a pretty guy around her age who, like her, as a tragic backstory that has allowed him to be driven.

Basically, we have a role reversal that allows us to follow the 'hot girl' instead of the 'in the know guy' and the disease has been pushed on to lesser characters; the conveinent and 'more deserving'.

Now - I will forget all about he manga and treat this OVA as a stand alone story...
Still, not good!

Story...
We have a pretty female lead, on hoilday with her 'less likable' friends.
An obscure terror shows up and this girl must now leave her friends behind and 'leap into action' (she's no action girl, this is all suppose to be quite realistic) upon coming to the accurate conclusion that her boyfriend is in need of a hero. On her journey, she comes across a guy who is of much help and has somewhat of a similar backstory to hers (rocked by a certian loss).

This story leaves the more observant viewer asking a few questions, such as...
"The body count is massive, yet the main gets attacked often and is never phased - why is this?"
'If paracite monsters are killing and infecting people threwout a mulitude of area's, why are plains still opporating and sending people into the 'eye of the storm'?"
"The train the two mains are on has just crashed out of the blue, all on it look either dead or unconcious - why are the two 'mains' allowed to climb out, unscratched and unshaken before walking down an underground tunnel which I'm sure lacks oxygen, whilst maintaing energy to spare?"
Basically, the plot bends to the will of the famale lead - she's the main character and a decent person, so why shouldn't 'the unlikely' simply open it's door for her whenever she stops by?

This is the immaturity^, now, for the cliche's...

Character...
A typical case of possotive and negitive accossiation.
We have a pretty leading female who's 'sensible' persona arguabely borders on Mary Sue - she's the friendly mediator type; everyones friend who makes friends easily, yet she'll also do all in her power to protect those around her, she'll even speak for the unfortunate who don't have a voice. She always wants the best possible outcome, such as hoping officials will come out with a cure for the many infected, highly dangerous strangers roaming the streets, in favour of killing them. She doesn't get too scared or show a single hint of selfishness or hesitation when it would be perfectly natural to do so either. On a whole, she's ideal.
Her sidekick is a good looking, young (about her age) video photographer who has all the action recorded and is very interested - in a constructive way, in uncovering what is going on - he has a bit in common with the leading female and seems to have a crush on her.
We have the female leads two frineds - a promiscuous, overall stylish 'pretty' girl and a chubby, introvert girl with no particular styling in clothes, hair or facial features and no particular body shape - ofcourse they aren't going to be admirable or acheive anthing!

Art...
Fine, nothing spectacular, but nothing wrong scenery wise - the character design is lovely however; everyone looks different and fairly realistic.

Enjoyment...
It was fine as a stand alone series, not too complex; which is what you shoud really get from a plot like this, but the length was sensible and it did have what most would call an end?
I watched this and threwout I had the though lingering in the back of my head - it all reminded me of a tacky Hollywood movie where the pretty girl screems her way threw to the end (only, minus the screaming, this girl bough us little).
So on a whole - no, I didn't enjoy it personally.

Overall...
For me personally, a bit of a watse of time.
The manga was just 20 chapters long and it moved at a steady to fast pace - everything; begining, middle and end could have been covered in this OVA, why they changed it o something else, I can only put down to marketing?
There was no need for this (again, forgetting the original) to incorporate such cliche's as; character sheild, 'petty behaviour justifies death', 'everyone loves a tragic female lead' and 'mix gneder team with clear romantic feelings apparant' - whilst spoonfeeding information in a way that only fits a story 'aimed at all' (such as; data that answers everything, present on the desktop screen of a computer, which happens to be swithched on, in an importiant person's home, that happened to be easy to access).
On a whole, the simplification and writing tools (cliche's being the critical and more accure term at this time) spoilt things. :(

First off - I'm a massive supporter of FMA....
I rank the manga within the best manga's I have ever read, I loved Brotherhood, the Gecko season 1 and the OVA's.
The prospect of a feature film was something I looked forward to, I wanted to like it...
...and then it came!

Story...
The main character is a pretty (I assume) teen girl with a tragic past, living in a repressed civilasation - her journey begins pretty much just as Ed and Al are on the scene.
We now have a plot, so no need for persoanlity when we have the 'sad and serious' setting in place.
Now, we enter into a ... story of; mysteries that scream predictability and idealism threatening genuien hardship.
It's difficult to describe the story's content without spoiling it, however, you only need to view about half an hour of it in order to predict spoilers - take thefilms description, my discription in the first sentence within this 'story...' paragraph, aswell as the words 'predictability' and 'idealism'.

Sound...
Fine, good vioces, appropriot music threwout the scenes and a pretty uplifting ending theme.

Art...
As usual, the scenery is beyond stunning - great detail in the grand buildings and pretty sky views.
The character design on the otherhand seems massivley rushed - the proportions are slightly off and the shadeing is almost absent at times.

Characters...
As stated above - no personality surrounding the lead - those connected to her play minors pretty much and also, fail to stand out.
Honestly, Ed and Al are hardly make it to 'minor' status - the two of them taking a back seat as they were getting wrapped up in someone elses tale would easily prove approriot, but no, this film is the equivalent of a zealous fanfiction with the author shipping their ideal characters in their retelling of a series.
Both anime's featured side characters and the 'never to be seen' receiving their 'moment in the spotlight' in a sensible manner that made them of the up-most importiance, yet the leads still relivant.
The odd few fellow known faces such as; Winry and Mustang are simply background art.

Enjoyment...
This was a chore to get threw. :(

Overall...
Hardly FMA; it seems more 'material for a stand alone film with the FMA title and characters thrown in to give it a better chance'.
To be frank, I can only sum this film up as a masive waste of time!
This 1 hour and 50 minute of mediore could have been condensed into 30 minutes and branded a OVA, it may have been a tad more enjoyable then?
Difference being, the OVA's feature content that could contribute to the overall story- this, hardly.

When you take a glance at this anime, you're met by unconventional artwork off the bat, as it's the conventional that pretty much headlines anime these days, thus unusual is something some people may be attracted to or repelled by; if you're of the latter - reconcider.

Story...
Katanagatari is an action adventure anime that spans across a certian period of time whilst maintaining a fast pace.
We are met with a streetwise, serious yet not-too-competent female who is soon joined on her quest by a fairly clueless male who has a lot to learn.
The two form an unconventional relationship and set off on the female leads quest ... - encountering new friends and opponents along the way.

Art...
Quite creative - the character design isn't consistant; some characters are a lot more human looking then others, yet only slightly, which somehow works.
The scenery is very pleasant; in brightness and in darkness, there is always plenty of detail within the strong colours which always stand out.

Characters...
Unusual characters in comparrison to many other anime characters, especially compared to those who are ususally appointed the 'lead' - we have a male who doesn't play butmonkey dispite being genuien 'clueless' and a strong willed female lead who isn't a high level tsundere or moe; these characters have something to say, as do the minors we encounter during the series.
If you're familiar with this authors; 'monogatari series's, then you may recognise a some of the authors approach to wit threw the headlining characters, such as mocking anime cliche's.

Enjoyment...
I really enjoyed this. I have watched many upon many anime's and frankly, it can be hard to find something that really qualifies as different, yet this is one of those that could entertain an anime veteran - someone who has watched a lot of anime will pick up on the blatent use of cliche's that otherwise, may or may not annoy people, aswell as the regular breaking of conventions many anime's would avoid doing in order to keep the audience happy.

Overall...
A must see, especially for all of you who feel you have pretty much seen it all.

There aren't to many anime's out there like this one.
Technically a harem - the set-up is far from typical.

Story...
A number of 'otaku', 'unstylish' females live in a 'ladies only' dorm - they're confident in eachothers company and they find comfort in things that are easily accessable - life is fairly peaceful.
One night, a stunning young woman* enforces her friendship upon the female lead and is egar to befriend the leads entire social group - the presence of a 'stylish' person is bad enough, made worst so that this 'ultra beautiful girl' happens to be a 'ultra beautiful guy'.

Character...
Unusual characters- infavour of the common 'harem' set-up ... of 'awkward, not-too-confident guy + pretty, high energy girls', we have a 'pretty, high energy guy + awkward , not-to-confident girls' without a bipolar charcter in sight.
The character are very much into their own interests; though the 'ladies of the dorm' excluding the famale lead are minors, we do get to know what their passions in life are.
We get an insight into the backstory of the two leads, what shaped their current interests and what the future has in store for them.
The characters are also pretty balanced - it would be eas to portray the 'nerdy' character as the epitimy of 'angelic', however, this series allows them to display view points that could easily be portrayed as highly judgemental; such as their shared phobia of 'stylish' people - basically, you're not being pushed into 'loving' anyone.

Enjoyment...
I personally enjoyed this series a lot.
The tone is somewhat serious, yet highly mellow and generally pleasant.
The humor is quite clever; never relying on the tried-tested-approved set-up's of; ecchi and comic violence, instead, we are encouraged to get to know the characters as individuals and appreciate 'comedy' that only that character could bring forward.
What's also great about this series is - it isn't about an 'ultra stylish person' coming in and changing the 'dowdy folk who need a make-over and new leece on life' - the one who's actually egar for a change of scenery is the 'elite'.

Overall...
I'd reccomend this to anyone really - it may be a josie, but it isn't 'josie' down to a high level of maturity, i.e. sexual content, taboo subjects, violence of lots of swearing, so really, anyone could watch it (it is rated 13+), not only that, but I'm a shounen/seinen, action, adventure, supernatural supporter; this contrast from my fav's, yet still results in a 10/10.

A must read - even if you aren't really into the original story, for a number of reasons:
1. It's easy to understand
2. You can't really go wrong with five chapters
3. The entire approach to the story is very different

Story...
MaruMaru has destroyed Yuno before the story kicks off - no Yuno present has put Yuki in emediate danger.
Whilst work has been put into place to bring Yuno back and restore a critical Yuki, MaruMaru and Akise replace the two leads.
This story is simply a case of the same scenario's witnessed in the begining of Mirai Nikki, only very different characters put into place to deal with ... these set-up.

Character...
A vast contrast to the original, were we are use to the; out-of-place innocent that is Yuki and the, one-girl-army that is Yuno progressing threw danger. Within this story, we have Akise; a smart boy who's genuienly interested in the situation he's now in and isn't too worried about his own safety, aswell as the supernatural, problematic-yet-sensible MaruMaru who's pretty independent as a main.
Futhermore, this story, despite being just five chapters, manages to utilise those characters who, for obvious reasons, weren't allowed a great deal of attention within the original story.

Art...
The art is fine, it's what we're use to in Mirai Nikki - the scenery isn't too special and the character design is a tad basic, but the characters styling stands out and they all look different.

Enjoyment...
I realli enjoyed this personally, more so then the original story.
The set-up of this lacked the idealism what is pretty much needed within this story; not simply because this main isn't 'part of the game' but because the main isn't the type that comes along too often in shounen's - sure we get the odd few smart leader types, but not too many are; very social, intouch with their feelings, 'career' motivated and generally humble.
I also liked the fact that dispite this manga being short, there was a begining, middle and end, also, this story does have some stand-alone qualities; you don't need to complete or even enjoy the original in order to follow this - you don't even have to reach the half way point really?

Overall...
If you have ever picked up the Mirai Nikki series, no matter what you think of it, this is must!
A good, well written story that without a doubt deserves a series of anime specials of it's own.

Forget about the Dragonball manga and forget about the Dragonball/Z anime - view this as a stand alone story...
Following the above steps only makes this special worst!

The reason why?
The story has little substance - a higly basic and short plot dependent entirely on the well known franchise.
Now, I'll delve further...

Story...
Goku's dad, Bardock, in his last special, faced off against Friezer.
Within this special, instead of dying within the blast theat blew up his planet, he was somehow teleported into a past time period.
... Bardock develops a soft side for a cutsie young, kind alien who just wants to help him.
Not too long later,he comes across a new antogonist, an ancestor(?) of Freizer.
Bardock becomes a super saiyan (quickly and stress free).

Art...
Good art - can't fault it.
DB/Z artwork back in the past was good - especially concidering it's age - this is pretty much the same.

Character...
Mary Sue galore - Bardock comes across as a fanfiction writers highly zealous creation - not too 'hardened' and prone to power-up's that aren't consistant to the original story.
We have the cute, highly friendly aliens who only scum of the universe would hurt.
We have a goofy villian who, in a 20 minute special, couldn't possibly be more then laughable.
If these characters were applied to a new anime - it would automatically get labled 'generic' ad I doubt a manga pilot would go any further?

Enjoyment...
Very, very little!
Aproaching this from a neutral perspective - seeing this as nothing more then a loose adapation and forgeting that I had skimmed threw the manga of this (I can filter stuff out of my head, which I'll do after this review).
Seeing the positive - DBZ attention is a good thing?
The above atitudes fail to brighten up a highly dull, unlikely (if you follow the series) fanwork that makes you question what extent the author of this actually followed/enjoyed this series?

Overall...
It's a fail - the most attractive thing about this is it's length.
It's nothing more then fanfiction - and there's better fanfiction out there, trust me!

I'll start by stating that, for me; a shounen viewer - this story is something very different.

Story...
The set up, without spoiling anything, revolves around magic girls fighing evil 'witch' entities. There is no real case of 'she is the chosen one' - all girls pretty much bought the situation upon themselves.
Madoka - the leading female, is a nice girl who is new to the chaotic life a magic girl has to endure.
Though if you take this concept and think that Madoka (the lead) then goes on to continuously save the day - you're wrong. :P

Character...
We often see the intro 'normal highschool student' in order to ... describe the 'n00b' placed into an odd situation.
Within this series, effort has been put in place in order to show use that Madoka is not only 'normal', but 'ideal' - she's a nice girl who has no reason to be unhappy, she has; two loving parents who are actually interested in her life, a cute little brother, a beautiful home, good friends and she attends a pleasant school, there isn's a hint of malice within her.
Madoka may be the lead, yet she doesn't dominate the plot - we are introduced to a number of girls, all possessing a differing personalites, motives and backstory put forward as the story progresses - there's bound to ba a character for everyone.

Art...
The are has me a tad mixed - the art isn't bad and bad art alone doesn't put me off, however, the characters are the typical 'moe' design (I'm not a massive fan of) we see quite often in anime these days, but not only are the cast purposley 'cute', but they look like cardboard cut-outs.
As cheap as the chracter design appears, production seem to have blown the budget on the scenery artwork, which provides us with numerous different trends of stunning artwork that almost doesn't fit, yet is entirely appropriot down to the situation.

Overall...
I would say that I personally enjoyed this story and would reccomend this to anyone.
Though I don't generally seek out magic girl anime's, even I can tell that this is something different, not conforming to what's 'tried, tested and apporved'.

Anybody who's into the games, like myself, knows the annoyance of the tiny personal storylines, conbined with the major plot, then ending with a cliffhanger at the conclusion of each game - which means we must wait another four or so years for another snippet of the story - a tedious cycle!
Does this movie fill in any holes...
NO!!!
If you are a fan of the Tekken video games and you hope this will do the popular series justice as an adaptation - you may be dissapointed.
If you think this movie will provide you with some anwsers the games have yet to deliver - you ... though wrong!

Story...
We have a bait-and-switch situation - Nina and Anna kick the film off with their (in)famous sisterly scuffles, which is easily the best fght scene of the file (IMO) and a very familar sight, however, things then change...
Xaioyu is main, she's pretty much 'normal school girl' who's roped into a sticky stiuation - she knows a bit about the conspiracies surrounding the main Mishima.
Xaiyou is pretty much accompanied by Arisa (from the most recent game) as trouble unfolds.
The Mishima family are at odds with eachother and still very much into bio' experimentation.
^This is the premisis of it really.

Character...
Instead of focusing on the Mishima/Kazama's that pretty much headline the games, the lead is...
'Cute, innocent schoolgirl' Xaioyu.
'Cute, innocent, (for convenient reasons) schoolgirl' Arisa.
A mystery, special, smug, bishounen new teen boy who fancies his odds against the 'big tough' leading guys of Tekken.
Other then that, we have breif (breif being a problem) appearances from fighting sisters Nina and Anna, a few charcters who don't get too much attention in the game (such as Lee) playing roles such as teachers in order to incorporate the token 'familar face', a little bit of the Mishima family united.
The large cast, in general, don't get a look-in - dispite this movie being an hour and a half.

Art...
The action is decent...
The graphics aren't quite of the video game quality - not as too bright in picture and a bit of a misty tone (i.e. not crisp ckear), but still, quite fluid in motion, and everyone is pretty.

Enjoyment...
None really - a massive dissapointment and a chore to watch.
If I forget this is an adaptaion of a series I have invested time and money into and see it as a stand alone film (which it pretty much is), suprisingly, this makes things worst!!!
It is only the link to the games that boosts this series up to mediocre, as it gives zero plot and outsider could follow; the material given is minimal - like a lousy fanfiction that has spun 20 chapters from a basic premisis - so shallow in nature it would be lucky to attract an independent fanbase or attract newbie's to the games.

A waste of time frankly - even the fight scenes feautre little 'action' - meaning you could re-create a more action packed scrap in the game.

The choice of characters and the situations they where is appeared to be a delibrate attempt to make this as 'youthful' as possible - 'the beautiful bishounen's and bishoujo's' and school situations that may appeal to the impressionable who can fanboy and fangirl over the 'attractive, young* and in action'.
I could complain about not utilising the many characters Tekken has, but taking into consideration what I have stated directly above, there's no point highlighing it, I'm sure certian others may not fit in with the notion of 'typical shounen'.

On a hole - this entire movie could easily have been condensed into 20 minutes of decent material.
If you aren't familar with the series in general - spend this hour and a half of your life elsewhere!
Trust me - this movie doesn't hardly justifies advertising purposes.
