Satisfactory. This word is most befitting of this short sequel. It seems that many readers of the original novels have overlooked the existence of this hidden gem. I believe that the contents in this volume far exceeds the entirety of the prequel.
The focus lies on events after the main story taking place in the future. The character's development is the primary focus of the sequel as their mental development is displayed early on. This sequel attempts to tie loose ends and provide a conclusion to the main story. It far exceeds expectations as the characters who receive development are not limited to the protagonists but
...
also other relevant characters. We, the onlookers, get to experience the state of mind of many characters and experience characters who come to realizations and partakes in changes.
The less important aspect is therefore executed in a worse manner; meaning that the story is subpar. It adds content by introducing a new character who seems to be generic at first but develops somewhat significantly. The issues lie in the execution of the story as it's in a similar fashion to what the prequel provides. It follows a redundant sequence and is predictable for the most part.
Being a sequel, it is difficult to implore you to read this volume without reading the prequel. If you have read the original novels, this entry is not a side story, but a sequel that succeeds in providing a conclusion. The character development stands out but the story focuses on mundane events and lacks in proper execution.

It is difficult to find entertainment that follow a structured routine and manages to remain fresh and entertaining after extended periods of time. Senryuu Shoujo is an exception that is constituted in a simple manner and still manages to impact the reader powerfully, which results in a perfect read to relax. During the initial viewing of the anime, the anime featured one-dimensional characters with some graceful moments. The manga offers a higher quality despite its equally simple design.
The story essentially revolves around the daily life of high schoolers who are partaking in events occurring in their "Lit Club". The story is the weak link because
...
the aim of the work is not to convey a compelling story. Events that are prevalent in the work accomplishes its goal of constituting heartwarming emotions and a feeling of fluffiness. Senryuu Shoujo lacks progression during the majority of its run but manages to cover its flaw with interactions among the characters. In contrary to first impressions, despite the time required, development is existent. The earlier is confirmed by making a comparison to the vibes the work exudes during later chapters, compared to the first.
The characters stand out in this work more than many others. The author has a tendency to introduce characters that add to the abundance of the existing cast. The strength of this work is how new characters receive development to make them unique and feel no less than previously existing characters. It's difficult to describe how much characters fit in the show after their debut because of the manner they are relevant to the chapters. In most cases, new characters appear for a few chapters, receive minor development and have their existence are almost retracted as their presence becomes ceased.
In Senryuu Shoujo, characters who make their debut remain relevant for the rest of the ride. Their appearance is inevitable and they don't feel one-dimensional. It feels empty without them and chapters depicting bits of their daily lives are entertaining because of an emotion of wanting to know how their lives unfold.
In spite of the excellent development the characters receive and the relevance to the story they carry, there are certain flaws regarding them that need to be addressed. The weight of the development is not evenly distributed, resulting in a few underdeveloped characters. This flaw is not that empowering because those characters receive scant developement and still exude the vibe of pertaining to the main cast.
The first change that was recognized from an anime watcher is the improvement in the artstyle. The characters look more beautiful and accurately match the depictions exclaimed by characters in the anime show. Nanako is considered to be a beauty but the anime does not do that claim justice as her design is mediocre, leading to a contradiction. In contrast to the anime, the manga manages to present excellent looking characters and even offers artwork of aforementioned characters at the start of every chapter.
Senryuu Shoujo is an excellent source of entertainment for individuals who are interested in experiencing heartwarming emotions regularly without major signs of becoming repetitive. Regardless of a simple narrative, the work consistently succeeds to shape heartwarming moments through the means of simplistic measures. The entertainment value in Senryuu Shoujo is high and has a possibility to compel you into binge reading it.

To be completely honest, this is garbage. However, I'm being incredibly lenient on this anime because it does something well. I enjoyed it. Why would someone not enjoy this anime in the first place? It's unethical with incest relationship. How did I enjoy this anime, then? I shut my fucking brain and watched it with my dick. You see, Sagiri is not MY sister and therefore I am allowed to masturbate to her without being bullied. Ok, on a more serious note, what went wrong and what was done well?
Story 2/10:
This is easily the worst aspect of this series. Why? Because this director clearly forgot
...
to create a damned script. I'm pretty sure that one day, he woke up and got a call saying that Eromanga-sensei is going to air on TV tomorrow, and he was like - "What the fuck bro, i'm fucking my sister, call me later.".
The story doesn't have a purpose. You see, it is actually a story about a horny sister who wants to get hyperfucked by her brother. The brother also wants to insert his machine inside of her. The only saving grace is that she's adopted, which was conveniently done to avoid backlash, which actually failed. Now, another thing which makes this fine is that it's fiction and not real life. This, though, is apparently only agreed with by a few people.
The premise can look incredibly promising with a sister moving in and an aspiring author. There could've been an actual sister & brother relationship that focused on important things that siblings go through, but there's that unnecessary romance tag. The show decided something on the spot and decided to make every girl want the main character's "PP" (727). Because of this, the story centers around every girl trying to do something for Masamune (MC) or them being tsunderes and cursing at him, instead of being productive.
The most annoying part is the main story. Masamune is an aspiring author who wants to make good stories for the world to enjoy. First of all, he got fanletters "first" from two different people, which didn't declare which one of was actually first. Not to mention, they're conveniently a part of the growing harem. This is actually vital, because this indicates that the show is ONLY about Masamune and his harem and NO ONE else. As shown in masterpieces such as Bakuman, writers make groups of friends, haters and heated rivals. None of that is apparent and it really feels empty. In this anime, other people do not even exist. His "rival" turns out to be a tsundere who wanted to bring him down because his recent works are total garbage, which i wholeheartedly agree with. Or i would, but there's absolutely not any preview of the contents of the stories any of them write. Really, for viewers like myself to appreciate what Masamune has done, i should get some insight about his works.
The horny siblings create manga together and guess what they're about? An amazing fighting series with great character development? No, you idiot. As you can see, writing is an entire different language used to communicate with each other. It's clearly got to be about a brother's feelings for his sister. Guess fucking what? GUESS! Masamune uses this shitty story that he made to confess to his sister. Bro, weren't you going to make an amazing series and not confess your love with a professionally licensed light novel?
The anime has two locations. Their home and a beach. Guess what this prevents. World building. The world feels so secluded and only their home area feels a part of the world map. Because Sagiri is a NEET, she doesn't go to a lot of places, her slave of brother doesn't either and we get absolutely no new locations visited.
Finally, the anime brings us a lot of confessions and conflicts, but not a single one of them gets solved. They're brought up and left alone for the days to come. Problems such as having a fucking NEET at home, which doesn't even show signs of letting up by the end of this trash. Which makes me wonder what the fuck the point of Masamune's struggle was. At one point, he admits to stop giving a shit about her staying inside at home and having her face touch fresh air, like a normal human being. What kind of a douchebag of a brother is that?
Long story short, every girl wants his "PP" (727), there is only one other guy who barely gets screentime, and the amazing potential is turned into a harem collection.
Art 7/10:
You know, there's always redeeming qualities of modern works. The art is fairly average, but gets the job done. The colors are incredibly bright and fit the tone of the anime and does reflect the situation they're in. During a romantic scene, the skies are beautifully colored and the usually average animation, turns fluid and captures the scene. The best part would be the character designs which are fairly unique. Although it is fairly common designed, they're relatively memorable and have their unique design in comparison to other series. When looking at the characters, identifying them will be easy.
Sound 6/10:
The opening song is nice. It does catch the once again, upbeat tone of the series. I've forgotten every single soundtrack inside the show itself, because they left no impact at all. I doubt that anyone remembers anything as well.
The voice acting is really good as most other anime, because of how the emotions are depicted. This section is irrelevant, so let's move on to a more negative part.
Characters 4/10:
Anime has always followed a trend of characters and this is the case here. The most stereotypical characters are here and they are not memorable through their personality at all.
The cast is so small, yet so big that it's bad. There are many characters introduced, but only the harem get screen time. The supporting characters could definitely be given roles where they help the storyline proceed by doing something memorable, but it feels like they're just waste of space who barely have any role at all. They just sit there as extras and watch the main girls fawn upon Masamune and ask him to penetrate them from one end to another.
There's no character development at all. They just stay like bricks and don't change or are given any insight at all. The same applies for relationships, where they get held-up and remain underdeveloped. One character starts off with a NEET problem, which starts off by trying to get fixed. Her tsundere nature also lessens and she turns differently. Guess what happens next? She reverts back to her completely NEET and tsundere state out of nowhere.
The girl characters feel like machines that are attracted to the male lead for no apparent reason. They don't show any individual traits and can only be described through means like "Masamune's tsundere teaser" or "The girl who tried to bring down Masamune but loved him instead". Everything is connected to him and that brings down their personality.
Masamune feels so unserious and stupid. He doesn't seem to be serious with his work. To maintain a life alone with his fuck-buddy, he's been told to earn money. What would be the most efficient way to do that? To write stories that bring in sales; good ones. That's why his stupid confession contradicted his need of money.
Enjoyment 6.5/10:
This show was enjoyable. Because of the slice of life nature with a lot of events (although incoherent), the episodes passed fast, there were some funny moments and it was nice seeing everything that happened. The romantic scenes that were not incest, were well done and left an anticipation dwelling inside of me, later to be crushed. Obviously, some moments were cringe, such as many exchanges between Sagiri and Masamune. A lot of the pointless dialogues were boring.
Overall 4.5/10:
So, what went wrong? This anime lacked correct guidance. The premise had so much potential, but took the wrong direction and ended up becoming a harem anime. There wasn't any development at all and everything was random. Everything was pointless and no conflicts were solved. The characters remained the same and the events were too conveniently based around them.
To enjoy this, smash the contents of your heads, open your zipper and be ready for some amazing "PP".

Most of you have probably heard of the anime Gintama. It's know as the best comedy anime of all time for some people. They even saw that it's completely unrivaled and that there's nothing else that can make you feel multiple emotions in the same episode. I consider that statement false. Because SKET Dance, what may repel you away due to the unappealing concept, is actually an anime that delivers in multiple aspects which inclues hilarious joke and heartwrenching drama. To persuade Gintama fans who are skeptical of watching this anime, the assistant of Sorachi Hideaki (Gintama's author) is the one who created SKET Dance.
...
You might also want to watch it for the crossover with Gintama.
Story:
The story is very simple and is actually only what the synopsis says. It's all about some kids who go around in a school helping people out. This however, is very broad and leads to a great amount of world building. Due to the random requests they recieve, the locations the episodes take place in can vary alot. The huge cast of characters are usually met because of the requests they recieve. There's mostly a purpose for the seemingly meaningless episodes.
A negative point about the storyline is that it starts off slightly bland and repetitive. It feels pointless to watch some kids wander out doing nothing but random and cheeky stuff. This, is however, the prime source of comedy that tends to grow on you as time passes. Once in a while there will be some arcs that derives from the usual stuff and those are the heartwrenching parts. To not make everything repetitive, SKET Dance delivers arcs that build up the characters relationships and also dwells into their pasts. It does take a while for the anime to pace up and get into the interesting storyline, however waiting it out shouldn't be hard as the primary reason of watching this is to enjoy a nice laugh, which is what'll most likely be doing.
The arcs themselves aren't going to be masterpieces and instead just focuses on developing relationships. This means that there's not going to be many deep and provocative arcs in a psychological way, but rather you'll probably think more about the characters and develop some sort of emotion for them.
Animation:
There's not really much to discuss, however the art is really fresh to look at. It's completely perfect for the age it was created in. The animation is fluent and the uncommon action scenes that take place tends to be very consistent and great. The art doesn't differ too much from your average shounen anime, which tends to put off some people who're looking for more creativity. Although it's not creative and unique, it's still at the top of the shounen pyramid and looks near flawless in comparison to most long running anime. If you've watched something similar to One Piece and enjoyed it despite the simplistic art, detailed animations should still feel good to enjoy, despite the lack of originality.
Sound:
The sound is simply amazing. The voice acting is on point and fits most of the characters. A downside would however be that a few of the characters have voices that seem out of place, or do not simply fit them at all. That might be annoying in the start, however just like most anime, the voices do tend to sit with you in the span of a few episodes. The expressions are great and the emotions delivered feel realistic. The voice actors in this anime are very popular and experienced.
The background music is great as well, because there's a great variety of them that plays during the course of the anime. Some of them are very memorable and might even make you crave to have a re-listen. Although the soundtrack is well done, the theme songs are even better. The famous band " The Sketchbook " performs most of the openings which do tend to set the mode for the episodes and personally, i listen to the openings a lot, even when i'm not watching the anime. The style of the songs would suit other people's tastes, even those that aren't into anime music. The songs are a bit different from the usual rock songs and the voice is epic. There are even good ending songs that are not performed by them.
Characters:
As the story might have indicated, this is where the development shines. SKET Dance focuses on a large cast with a lot of unique people. The best thing is that none of the characters get left out and tend to return and provide themselves to the storyline of the episodes they appear in. There are so many different characters that are likeable.
The main characters gets heavily relevant arcs that focuses on building up them as characters which shows how they've developed and grown compared to themselves in the past. The flashbacks provided are detailed and even introduce new characters that become interesting. It's kind of a wish that their role would become more apparent outside of the flashback arcs because of how interesting they were, whether that's possible or not, is up to your judgement. Personally, i think that some of them could have had re-appeared and played a role in some arc.
The relationship between the main characters starts of as basic friendship which transcends into something deeper and more unbreakable than that. Whilst there is romance, the primary focus is the friendship between all the characters and how they care for each other. Side characters tend to want to join the friendship between the main character. Some of them develop feeling towards one of the guys in the trio.
Another great thing are the character interactions. It's clearly visible what every character thinks about one-another when they speak with each other. Depending on if it's someone they respect, or someone they think is annoying, their speaking patterns differ a lot. This is also where a lot of the comedy is brought up because of the funny and creative ways they speak and sometimes even hit someone. There's a lot of pointless fighting that's plain hilarious.
Enjoyment:
This anime is primarily comedic and puts out jokes and a lot of fun stuff. Laughing is natural as day and becoming hooked is also natural. There's a lot more than the jokes to enjoy. The world building is very interesting, and thinking about the locations they're in is nice to do. The story arcs are also enjoyable as feeling emotions towards characters is considered enjoyable nowadays. Actually, it's always been like that. The vibe of the anime is always bright and only feels depressing when it needs to be. Depressing vibes in a comedical scene is a sign of boredom, which SKET Dance avoids to do by any possible means.
The part most people might complain about is that it starts off really slow and that it's boring. This anime does take time to feel natural and the jokes might seem stale at first, however, they grow on you until you adapt to their sense of humor. Regardless of that, there's parodies which fans of other anime will enjoy. There's mostly some type of humor that will match your tastes.
Pros & Cons:
+ Great humor with parodies
+ Heartwrenching drama
+ Loveable and unique characters
+ Crossover with Gintama
+ Shippings + Romance
+ World building
- Possibly slow & stale
- Humor can vary and be unappealing
- Inapparent storyline

This is easily the best shorts of all time for me. Whether you like serious anime or not, i would recommend you this comedy anime. It's a comedy/parody anime with a cynical and normal main character who spends his everyday life hanging out with extremely odd people.
The story doesn't really have any purpose, heck i would even say that there isn't one. Instead this anime showcases the extremely weird everyday life of the main character and how he spends it which is what makes it so nice to watch.
A very good thing is that the episodes do not end (almost always) randomly and
...
the next episode they suddenly go into a random place and time. There is an obvious timeline and you will not have to worry about what is going on or where they are. This is a common problem other shorter anime tend to have.
Another thing that might seem minor but actually increased the score for me is the world building. In some anime you only see the school and you kind of feel kind of shut in because of the lack of information outside of their school. In this anime they go to a lot of places and it feels like you understand how their city (including some other places) looks and it feels closer to you.
The art is above the usual because of how unique it is. The animation is pretty good and the designs are different. The songs and background music aren't anything special. However, the voice acting is perfectly done because everyone fits their respective roles and really expresses themselves perfectly. This is really important because this is the main reason why the comedy works very well. It would be pretty boring if they were emotionless.
The characters are all unique and have stupid traits which makes them likeable however extremely funny as well. There's multiple characters that fit every necessary comedic role to make every scene build up into the peak of your comedy explosion bar (the moment you'll start bursting out into laugh).
Another reason the characters (and the anime as well) is so likeable is because it's kind of long and you get to know the characters pretty well.
I guess it's time to talk about my laugh counter. Well, if you have seen and liked Gintama you should know that beating that anime is pretty hard. While it didn't do that it did certainly beat the average laughs per second compared to Gintama. This anime killed me inside a lot of times because of how genius it is with the comedy. It really understands what the anime industry needs and can feel the viewers.
Personally, i would recommend that you should try out this anime as soon as you feel like it. The episodes are short so you can easily drop it if you don't like the type of comedy it offers. However if you do enjoy it you'll probably end up binging it. The great voice actors and unique characters are what makes this anime work as well as it did.

Ah, Gintama. The anime series which is beloved and hated over the world. It's known for having amazing comedy which it has done perfectly over the years for many people. However that's not all this anime series is. I would recommend this everyone however it does have problems such as the start. The start is probably the worst point because it does at a relatively weak level which is why most people think it's bad. They drop it before they get to the '' funny point ''. If you're interested you should probably watch the episodes slowly but surely until you start liking it which
...
is when you can feel free to marathon it.
Story:
This anime will center about what the main casts do in the Yorozuya everyday.
What i believe is that some people have failed to realize that Gintama is not all comedy which makes people unprepared for this thing called. They realize that they stopped laughing once every second due to there actually being a serious arc. As for the arcs themselves they're really great and hooking. The comedy is still in the arcs however the arcs have a focus and a point which they follow until the end. Gintama has made their arcs understandable and simple yet so deep. By deep i mean how they connect and all have some purpose. In case you didn't notice it does have ALOT of action scenes.
Do not expect much Amanto-counter fight during the series because that's not what this anime is made for.
It does take a long while for the story to get going considering how there's alot of side story episodes which focuses heavily on the comedy. This will be counted into the story as a heavy + point because of how it does and develops the characters as well as keeping you interested. It does it perfectly.
Another great thing about the arc of Gintama is that it's not longer than it needs to because it gets straight to the point without having unnecesary dialogue.
As any long running anime, this anime has fillers. Fillers are basically episodes which weren't in the original source (this manga). They are usually worse since they're randomly made for the next week. However the fillers of Gintama brings a new type of original comedy which is totally amazing. There's a few fillers which are mostly golden comedy (aside from episode 1 and 2).
My favourite point of Gintama is the way it's told. It completely appeals to most people because it understands what the viewers need. This is why i don't think anything has felt out of place and just rolled with the flow. The episodes satisfied me when i watched them because they knew what i needed. Or rather, changed what i needed which is perfect.
Art:
The art does take a while to get used, however when you do it won't be a problem. It's very likeable and grows on you quite fast. Gintama is quite old so it is a point to be noted.
Animation wise it's really amazing. There are hardly any glitchy scene and the consistency is perfect. The action scenes are superb however the art could be better.
The character designs are amazing. Every character is seperable and unique, which is a great way to remember the huge cast which Gintama has.
Sound:
The sound of Gintama is probably one of my favourites in history. The soundtrack completely fits the mood and it has alot of memorable ones which creates uniqueness into the sound.
The voice acting is superb. They completely took my favourite set of VA's and made an anime by using all their perfectly done voices. The budget was probably huge into making this however i can't say enough how worth it is.
The opening and endings are the best parts. They completely fit the mood and usually puts you in the mood you want. I have like so many of them on my phone- If i could rate the openings, there's not a single one up until today i'd rate below 8/10. I have multiple opening songs in my top 50, like 6-7 of them.
The ending songs are compareable to the openings. 2 of the ending songs are in my top 3 of all time. Every ending is unique and brings a feeling which puts you in the perfect mood for every episode.
Characters:
Gintama has a HUGE cast of characters. This would usually result in chaos as too how they're all gonna be likeable. However they're all unique and they are all relateable in some way or the other. Even a side character made me laugh and feel the way they felt. This is because of how they're developed. They're all interesting in a way or another and can make you feel what you're supposed to feel. There are some characters who are completely evil and i really despise them. However does it mean they're bad? Nope, they're still interesting.
The episodes in the anime are really meant to develop the characters which they always do. There's always something about them (which isn't asspulled) which i missed and always got it. I completely love everyone of them at the end of series. There's not a single character who is perfect because they're humans/amantos and they all have their character faults which i think the creators does perfectly.
Enjoyment:
I rated this the absolute max i could. There's honestly not much more i could rate it because of the cap. Whether it's the arc of the comedy episodes it delivers it all. Sadly the beginning part was mediocre, however what the other episodes has made me feel cannot be beaten. They're all interesting and oh god, i cannot stop laughing. As i stated, this anime understands what the viewers need. It has absolutely everything. All the way from perfect comedy to amazing arcs. The arcs aren't as good as the comedy. However the fights, thought process and uniqueness of them are truly remarkable. It completely grabbed my heart and while i watched it i didn't do anything else for days. Gintama is what i did. I even go back and rewatch episodes.
Overall:
This is truly amazing in every way. It brings absolutely everything you might need. Comedy? Check. Great characters? Check. Storyline and arcs? Check. Absolutely amazing setting? Check. What does hold this back is sadly the bad start. The comedy fails to deliver at the start. However the amount of times i died to laughter made up all of that in episode 30, let alone up until today. Remember well that some people even took 58 episodes for them to start loving it (personaly took 17 episodes). This anime does require some patience. Story wise it does have great arcs and their connections are noticeable and becomes bigger. I recommend Gintama to everyone who is looking for a great shounen anime which has comedy and action.

This anime was recommended to me by one of my friends. I'm just gonna point this out now but this is pretty much your average comedy slice of life anime with cliches all over the place. If you're looking for a great story then this is not for you. Also if you dislike this '' annoying '' imouto type who forces her onii-chan to do everything you'll seriously hate this.
Story:
As i've stated before, this doesn't have a good storyline. It's pretty much how the main characters spend their days. What i do like is however that they try to hint alot of relation and expose
...
the main things about the anime. They will try to make you hyped about when her secret will be revealed or trying to create some shipping. There's even hint of backstory. However this anime will not bother doing any of that since they have to keep the manga running forever, you know. The loose and unconnected storyline might get you confused however remember that every episode is a singular episode with some connections here and there.
This is what seperates this anime from others. It's an extremely calming slice of life without any tension or drama. This is a perfect show to watch if you just wanna laugh and enjoy since it really doesn't want to create any tensional problem or any development in anything all. This is however great since every comedy anime has some type of conflict.
Art:
I can't comment much on this except that the character design is good however nothing special. However sadly it is below average in terms of animation compared to today (not overall) which does minus point it, however there's nothing large to notice so do not get put down by thinking it has bad art.
The biggest problem people has with the art is that they dislike chibi and moe type of character designs which is what this anime excels at. Honestly there's not really much of loliness here and you shouldn't be annoyed unless you have a grudge against moe. I personally like moe designs and also like cute female characters which is literally the definition of Umaru so it's a big plus for me.
Sound:
The BGM is very relaxing and sets the mood most of the time. This is a very good point of the anime, but as said there's absolutely nothing memorable whatsoever in terms of OST. I've never said '' yes, the OST finally came up ''. I even forgot it even existed.
The voice acting is very good in this anime. I really think most of the characters fit their voice actors and they're also very skilled. I don't have any complaints here.
The opening is probably very hated and very loved. I can't explain it so just try listening to it and you'll see what i mean. I personally like the opening, although there's nothing more to it. It's memorable due to the parodic tone the opening has. The ending song is not bad but i really couldn't care less about it. The OP/ED however sets me in a somewhat correct mood which is a plus.
Characters:
Honestly you have this set of typical characters which are likeable. I even did some shippings because they were likeable and the main girl (Umaru) really takes on an interesting social point. Although it might see very common but trying to hide your indoor life from your life with other people is something we're all mostly doing and can even cost you your real life relationships if you're too deep. I really like how Umaru is trying to hide her otaku life. This is actually i myself am doing at school with like 99% of the people there. I am not open with ANY non anime watcher at all. My school personality and real life are too different.
What's the problem you ask? I did say that the characters are likeable. This by no means mean that they got depth. This also means they hardly got any character development. They remain the exact same as the start. Umaru is probably the one i expected to get developed the most however i was left disappointed. She is still this character who drags around her Onii-chan to do everything. You can somewhat see her opening up to the people around her however she is still kind of the exact same thing.
Obviously i know the point of this anime but it's still sad, you know :(.
Enjoyment:
This does what it's meant to. It's really enjoyable and keeps you to watch it. I do not recommend you binge-watch it after the mid-point (the early point worked well when i binged watched it). It will eventually tire you out and you will give it a lower score than you intented to. The comedy is good but it somewhat repetitive with these overused scenes however i don't think this will stop you from enjoying it.
Overall:
This anime really isn't anything special and is pretty much a very good relaxing anime with some annoying cliches. This doesn't have any conflict at all nor does it have much character development at all. It's really just a fun anime without any cliffhangers which you might enjoy unless you really dislike moe art. What sets this back is this tone of not wanting to continue any department.

I randomly went into a profile in MAL and saw some people talk about this manga. I saw the rank and didn't expect much. Considering I don't read that much manga i was this guy who always thought manga was mostly boring.
However this ''average'' manga showed how an average manga, is better than some of the top tier romance anime series.
Story:
This is pretty much about how they spend their everyday life trying to improve the current lifestyle of Rinnosuke. At the start it's very fresh and the comedy is on spot. There are however something hidden which slowly but surely gets explored.
You might
...
be thinking that it's gonna be boring by having 49 chapters with some random rom/com. This is actually wrong. Aside from Rinnosuke's wimpy attitude which holds the progression back it always gives you hints about what is going on. This however doesn't mean that this is gonna be a full-on mindblowing Death Note story or anything. This is about developing their relation. The point of this series is not to figure out what is going on.
This does however have alot of cliches like the childhood friend who wastes chapters with the very annoying misunderstandings. What this does extremely well is turning these cliches into something you can enjoy. It hardly ever makes you feel mad about these cliches and instead makes you laugh or relate to what he's feeling and these super awkwardly hilarious moments that happen are always turned into something fresh you can laugh at.
These cliches however can be very good as they can create alot of amazing cliffhangers which never makes you tired to continue. If you do not like cliffhangers there's also great comedy.
As said this is a normal romcom so you should expect extremely repetitive cliches like this wimpy MC and side story chapters.
Art:
I'm no expert to stuff like art but i do feel like the characters all had unique character designs and were easy to seperate. The mangaka (most of the time) when showing someone didn't forget to draw certain parts which leads to very good consistency. I have no complaints and it's probably what made me start reading this, which i am very thankful for.
Characters:
This might be very contested against. I perfectly understand why people would wanna prove me wrong. It's because of that MC who's always wimpy and runs away. However that's not all in a character. They all start off bland and quite stereotypical, example is that the guy lost his dad and is now a guy who lives alone.
However over the course of the series i understood the characters and related to their feelings. There's a purpose for everything that happens includinge the wimpy MC. It's an understandable as well as relateable reason. They're unique and likeable in a way or two. Even '' the annoying best friends cliche '' can become likeable. You can understand how they're not his enemies which is what you think at first. The characters faces their personal problems and gain a lot of depth. There's really alot of difference from them in chapter 1 and the end. There are even alot of side stories focusing on developing their relation.
Enjoyment:
As i said, i believe this beats even many of the top tier romance anime series because this manga used their time to bring in a good story with great character development. This manga was very addicting because it had alot of cliffhangers due to the cliches which were good for the most part and never made me bored. It made me run to the next chapter because i needed more. The comedy was absolutely amazing. I laughed so many times i can't even remember. There's also alot of perfectly awkward moments which made me laugh for 3 minutes straight.
Overall:
Re:Marina is probably one of my favourite RomCom of all time. It brings together cliches and make them all useful and can bring a huge smile to your face. It has some sad moments, combined with great art and characters. If you are interested in reading this manga i would recommend this to you. It's a great thing to make time pass. The only problem i can see with this is the mid-late part which slightly scales off. What i believe is that you might very well enjoy this manga.

Pokemon Adventures is a manga i really like and i hold it dear to me.. haven't read this manga too much though (For those that hates Pokémon because of the anime i can tell you that this is WAY better than the anime).
Story: The story is pretty simple and straightforward without plot holes and the outcome of stuff are not clear. Beware that there are many side story chapters but each arc this far had a lot of content so it makes up for it. Some arcs does get too long and drags out the story but it's still good. Some chapters are unnecesary but
...
still good.
Art: Briliant art for 1997 and the design is different from usual and Red looks like a badass.
Character: Red is an awesome protagonist he's not dull like many other people. The antagonist did a good job .. They were pretty strong and forces Red to change his way of thinking. I think that it's pretty good that Red does not one-shot everyone he meets. Red will always be one of my favourite characters. Some characters lack development though.
Enjoyment: If you like the idea of the pokémon system then i believe that you will love this manga and there's no way that i'll ever forget this manga. It gets a bit boring at times but it is very rare because of the slow pacing and heavy dialogues.
Overall: This manga is a ride and you'll probably love it. Although it gets holden back due to the slow and unexpected pacing.
