How do you know when you enjoy an anime very much? Well there are many tells, and one of them that told me I absolutely enjoyed this one was that the episodes felt very short. It's the same thing that happened to me when I watch One-Punch Man. I get so into it, not a single dull moment, and before I know it, the episode is done. So then, Enjoyment 9/10.
There are the reasons why this anime was so enjoyable to me:
Story: 9/10
I believe that the progression and story-line was well paced, without missing out on necessary information that was needed to be delivered so
...
that the viewer has a good understanding of the setting and the events that occur, including the reasons. Almost every episode ends off with you wanting to see more of what will happen next. I have to say that I watched this one episode per week as it aired in English on Adult swim. I'm not a big fan of watching as something airs because I prefer to binge watch when it's over, but it was a surprisingly pleasant experience for me in this instance.
Art: 8/10
Not the best art ever but they did do a good job with the action and the tentacles.
Sound: 10/10
Loved the enthralling modern soundtrack. Always gets me in the mood, I feel the action or sadness of a scene quite well. Very EDM-esque. I find it bad-ass! Outstanding on this one. I will definitely get the soundtrack.
Character: 9/10
Shinichi and Migi are the central characters in all this and I feel like they were well developed. There are other characters that could have, no, should have been better developed i.e. Reiko and that girl that liked SHinichi... the one who could have sensed him. I want to be able to connect to those characters and feel for them, but I felt nothing. But I guess that's just the way it is. Shinichi and Migi are the best <3

I've been putting this anime off for too long and finally decided to watch it. I'm glad I did. Here's why:
Story: 8/10
A boy and a dog tries to get by after escaping and are still on the run. The boy and the dog already have a good relationship and you feel for them from the beginning. A stranger who is an excellent swordsman comes into the picture. You start to feel like they care for each other and look out for each other. As if the man was a father figure to the kid. The story progressed nicely and in within that short period
...
of time they build a nice relationship enough or me to care for the outcome of the main characters' lives. which is why I'm also giving
Character: an 8/10
I have a soft sport for people who's best friends are their dogs. The character development was good enough for the story being told. Some people might have wanted to know more about the "stranger" character but anything else was a bit unnecessary to this particular story that was being told. Maybe if the focus was mostly about him then yes. But it was about the little kid.
Art: 8/10
It was not anything all that special, and from the beginning you could have seen the jittery movement of the characters as it it was some slow frame-rate or something but it was something I could have eventually looked pass. The reason I'm giving this an 8 is because of the action sequences. Well choreographed and portrayed for whatever budget this anime film was allotted and worked with. I could have felt the intensity of the strike and I could have seen the skill of the warriors in the final showdown.
Sound: 7/10
It was good, It suited the setting and time the anime takes place.
Enjoyment: 8/10
I did really enjoy this. I don't watch anime movies often I'm more of a series kind of person because I enjoy progressive character development, but this.. this one did quite well. Still wondering if the ending foreboded death or not though.

Sigh. I guess I expected way too much from this series. It is the first series that I have watched where I felt like it was wasted potential. There were so many things and so many directions it could have gone to have made it a better story and more enjoyable to watch.
The first thing I have to point out because it's been on my mind from the beginning to the very end of watching this first season on a 2 day span. Pizza Hut. I can't stop thinking about it. There were signs everywhere. Would I have enjoyed the show more if I ate
...
from Pizza Hut? Possibly. I don;t know and I guess I'll never find out. If anyone knows if it's more enjoyable that way, please don't hesitate to inform me.
This anime can get interesting at times it can intrigue you, in fact if you stick it through, I
m sure you will. I'm such your curiosity will allow you to wonder and to ask lots of questions. But you know what? "F**k you!" said this anime to it's audience, "I won't answer any of your questions." Followed by a, "You will watch what I show you and you and there's nothing you can do about."
SO many of my questions have still been unanswered. Nearing the end when the contractor were fighting the humans, I saw so much abilities and potential usage of said characters and abilities that it could have been way better. Honestly I don;t know why this anime got such a high rating on MAL. I'm not the kind of person to judge an anime so harshly. Yeah this feels harsh to me, and I was entertained a very few amount of times so i wont disregard that.. BUT... this just goes to show that darn... well I guess it must be a regional thing for it to have gotten such a high ranking. Since I've already watched the first season and since I like to follow things through to the end, I will be watching the sequels as well.. I hope it gets better though.
Overall 6/10... it's fine.

I have to admit that ti took me a while to truly feel like I'm enjoying this anime enough to give it such a ranking as 8. from episode 1-5 I was thinking of giving a 6, from there forward, a 7. Up to now I still wonder if it deserves the eight but the last episodes were just so good and made me want more.
Story: 7/10
Starts out slow and understandable not too much happens but I like the setting and the idea of it. Story gets much better as you go further but you have to go much further into it when they find
...
a decent number of the sins to add to the group of traveling companions.
Art: 8/10
Neat, I had no problems with it. Though it kinda reminded me a lot of FairyTail.
SOund: 7/10
It's good but I don;t remember much of it.
Character: 8/10
Well I must say at least there was some sort of character development where it counted for me. FOr example Ban's past, KIngs fairy related events of his past, all those developments helped me to care for the characters so when something unfortunate happened I felt empathy for them and that's what I like about decently to well developed characters. THis anime was funny too I enjoyed that aspect of it.
Enjoyment: 8/10
I want too see more.. I wish there was more.. I hope there will be more eventually... I noticed there is a 2016 anime of it coming.. doesnt seem like it will be a sequel but well... I'll still watch it to see what it's gonna be about...

I watched this before the Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works TV Series. I also watched it again have watched its sequel. So I watched it twice, both seasons of Fate/Zero and not I am writing a review on both seasons of Fate/Zero here.
Story: 10/10
Based on a Light Novel series this time and NOT a visual novel as is it's sequel anime, this particular story does NOT have different routes so it's story is absolute and unchanging depending on choices made. This is the prequel to the events that occurred in Fate/Stay Night and it did an excellent job on connecting and further developing on the
...
characters that survived and returned in the sequel.
ART: 10/10
This was created much before ufotable's Unlimited Bladeworks so it's quite obvious it wont be the same as it but it is still excellent!
Sound: 10/10
Another great soundtrack, I had to get them all!
Character: 10/10
Excellent character development, for each from the inspiring rider, the arrogant archer, the deranged caster, the honorable lancer, the furious berserker and sad, confused saber (LOL). I have to say that the rider of this story is one of the most inspiring servants I've ever seen in this franchise. I swear Gilgamesh is an extremely over-powered servant.
Enjoyment: 10/10
I laughed, I worried, I had tears welling up in my eyes, I was inspired, I came to understand, I empathized, I resented, I enjoyed. Great anime creation. Overall 10/10

This is a review for both the first and this second season of Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works. First fo all, I have to say that I watch the STUDIO DEEN version of Fate/Stay Night, which was based on the FATE route of the visual novel of the same name. I have also watched the anime movie UNLIMITED BLADE WORKS, so my praise for this anime will be influenced a bit having seen those versions of it before watching this. (Note: that I also watched Fate/Zero before this too, but it won't have any particular influence over it.)
Story: 10/10
Every since the highly spoken of disaster
...
that was STUDIO DEEN's Fate/Stay Night adaptation, I've been obsessed with the idea of this story. So much potential, a beautiful idea in my opinion. Having seen STUDIO DEEN's version first, I didn't think it was bad at all, in fact I gave it an 8 overall. BUt this ufotable 2nd route adaptation fo the visual novel gave me everything I wanted for such a story that I had become to love the idea of. It did excellent in all the criteria given for me to rate this by and I will elaborate more about it in each. As for the story, as I said, it gave me exactly what I wanted.
Art: 10/10
It's quite obvious that the art is spectacular. One does not simply watch this anime in low-ass quality video played on the internet, you need blu-ray quality!!! LOL beautiful art, sceneic, almost realistic settings, the lighting in each scene perfectly reflects the mood of night and day, of light and shadow.
Sound: 10/10
Intense, sad, reflected, sinister and more when it is needed to be so at the right moments.
Character: 10/10
What I love the most about this one is the character development. It is possible that if I hadn't seen STUDIO DEEN's creations I might have known less about the characters, such as the RIDER of this war, but I feel they touched on areas that were never touched on in STUDIO DEEN's version, but that's perhaps due to the fact that this is a different route than the other. The delved into the back stories of many characters, both master AND servants. I really appreciated that.
Enjoyment 10/10
Duh! Plus I had been waiting for this for quite a long time. It met my expectations too. I love it!
Overall: 10/10 HELL YEAH!

I had higher expectations for this anime called "Hyouka" otherwise known as "Ice-cream."
I knew it would be a slice of life, but what I didn't know is that it would be a mystery genre as well. That took me by surprise and quite a pleasant surprise indeed.
Story: 8/10
As intellectual individuals, many a times we come across ideas, we witness events or occurrences, and sometimes why do not understand why or how or when. So then be become curious. This anime intends to pique you interest and curiosity starting primarily with things, and occurrences of everyday life, then it delves deeper into finding out the mysteries
...
of the past as well. This anime is heavily dialogue-based as well but if you are patient and pay attention, you'll experience the satisfaction of quenching the thirst that is your curiosity.
Art: 8/10
I love the character designs, and the backgrounds are very nice too. Very good job on the settings.
Sound: 8/10
The Japanese voices are very good, each type of voice chosen in the casting, reflects their personality and individuality.
Enjoyment: 7/10
Although I have spoken well so far about this anime, I have to say that, at times I wasn't too patient with all the dialogue. I just wanted to get it over with at certain points but I'm glad I stuck it out. The end was somewhat satisfying.
気になります!

This anime didn't turn out to be like what I though it would have been like. I have it admit it was somewhat amusing, and I don't particularly feel as if I had wasted my time. But it could have been better nonetheless.
Story: 6/10
For the life of me, I can't completely recall what the story was about. All I know is that is had some funny moments, NO particularly sad moments, and any moments where characters appeared as deranged human beings. The point is, it was a battle between two sides and the story was "aite". One of those things you watch "Just 'cuz" and
...
not be entirely bored.
Art: 7/10
The art was good, but nothing all that. I think it falls in with the regular stuff people rate as good.
Sound: 7/10
It wasn't bad at all.
Character: 6/10
Yeah, this could have been much better. There were many moments that were certain to have intended to invoke feelings of sadness in the audience but it failed to do so in me because there wasn't enough character development. There was only one character that was developed enough for me to have that... "Oh man, that's sad". Other than that, It was paced a little too fast when it came to deaths, so I didn't feel for them. I wanted more, but I have to live with what I got.
Enjoyment: 7/10
As I said before, it's quite funny, the fighting is somewhat cool and there a couple twists (if you consider it at that) here and there so it should keep you entertained, but there and neater stuff out there. If this has a second season, I'd still go ahead and watch it.

I have been waiting to watch this for some time now and I finally got to do so. Let's start here with a review of the prologue. I've seen STUDIO DEEN's take on the Fate/Stay Night series and the route they too in that regard. I have to be honest and say that I quite enjoyed STUDIO DEEN's version so imagine my hype when I was about to delve into ufotable's great job on this, Fate/stay nihgt's second route, UNLIMITED BLADE WORKS.
The Prologue is great! It gives you an artistically beautiful introduction to the world of Fate/stay night, to the main characters and through the
...
point of view of Toosaka and details concerning her summoning of Archer and conversations that were not found in any of the other versions of Fate/stay night.
Almost going to the end of this 51 minute introductory episode, a battle ensues and such beauty and power to be viewed.. spectacular. The prologue alone was enough to get me to delve into the world of Fate/Stay night. I knew this would be one of the best. THank you ufotable & Type-moon!

I watched this sequel to Labyrinth of Magic an entire year and a half afterward. Since I already started watching with the dub I had to wait for the Kingdom of magic to be dub, and boy did they take their sweet-ass time.
Anyway, I watched this anime with such a lengthy time span in between the first and this one so I didn't remember all that much of the first when I watched the second. If I remembered I probably would have given it a higher rating maybe? Oh well.
Story: 9/10
Just like the first season it had an excellent story (I guess). What I liked
...
a lot from this season is more character development and the depth and details of the nations and their people. There espesially that of Magnostadt. Who's right? Who's wrong? The world isn't so black and white but some people tend to handle thins in a single-minded way due to the suffering and the challenges they faced in their life. And so the story unfolds further. This season there was a major war and out of that, came the joined forces to prevent the destruction of their world. I have to admit, that a major part of me enjoy this season was the Major that took about 1/3 of the entire season. It was one thing after the other just as war is supposed to be and this had me on the edge of my seat.
Art: 9/10
So many characters in this anime. Entire families. So many colors and ethnicities and personalities need to be portray in the art. I believe they did a great job on in this aspect. The fights, battles and even the portrayal of the Rukh was well done. One of the small details I noted was when a volcano erupted, there was smoke AND lighting discharge along with the lava... real volcanoes have electric discharge like that (yeah I notice that), and I appreciated that little detail lol
Sound: 10/10
My little brother made me realize how awesome the OST for this was! Especially during battle. Intense! The explosions are awesome too, the explosions' sounds are proportional to their sizes (yeah I noticed that)
Character: 8/10
They really make you care for the characters and want to route for them. If one of them would become a traitor it would hurt you to your core especially since you like them so much. As I said before, there are entire families and they each play a role in the anime so there are a LOT of characters. They focus on the right ones when necessary so I give an 8.
Overall I give this anime, just as I did the first season, a 9/10!
Would definitely watch season 1 and 2 again sometime.
