We're most of the way through and it's only getting worse, so I may as well review it now
Tiny tiny spoilers for episode 7 in Story section
I apologize in advance if this review comes off as a rant
The biggest problem with this anime is that it is extremely boring. Everything feels uninspired, it is just another typical isekai with no qualities to set it apart from the others, it's just boring.
Story: 2/10

classic, such as animation or music. It seems like the main character has some serious plot armor as well. For instance, in episode 7 when the goblins attack, they are moving lightning fast and chopping off arms faster than the eye can track, but then when they attack the main character, they're nice enough to swing so slowly that even the pathetic main character can dodge them.
Art: 3/10
Not bad, not special, looks kind of stiff and uninspired like everything else in the anime but it's not offensively bad. It's essentially the bare minimum of what is expected of anime nowadays, or maybe a little below the bare minimum
Sound: 4:10
Soundtrack is forgettable, the op is the only notable track, if only it were the op of a much better anime. There aren't any other songs that stand out. There's music, but you barely notice it and you'll forget about it as soon as it stops playing. Just like the rest of the anime, it's the most bare bones, generic, minimalist soundtrack you could imagine, like the creators searched "royalty free music" on youtube and they used the first 4-5 songs that popped up.
Character: 1/10
Character is what this anime does the worst. Every character has one trait that makes them kind of unique, and then their entire personality is an embodiment of that trait. The characters are so basic, I can't even call them one dimensional, that would be too generous. The main character is stupid and pathetic, with little to no backstory or redeeming character traits. He is constantly picking the dumbest possible option despite what much smarter people tell him, and treats it like the only option. He's so stupid he could get tricked by someone even if he could read their mind. At first I thought that if the anime gave him decent motivation, he could be an alright character, but then they give him the worst motivation I've ever seen in a main character. When he wants to quit the game, the motivation they give him is that he gotta beat the game so he can marry the obnoxious scammer with big boobies. As a side note, those boobies are so big they don't even look good anymore, they just look ridiculous and stupid. The love interest, as I just mentioned, is obnoxious and she looks ridiculous, and she has zero personality.
It's supposed to be a comedy, but I don't think anyone could laugh at this show, the comedy is just the main character being stupid and someone takes advantage of him in the most predictable way, then the mc screams cancerously, rinse and repeat for every episode. Either that or mc forgets that the game is realistic for the fifth time that episode and so he ends up looking pathetic. The funniest part of the anime is that he escapes being executed by one character because he was so pathetic he somehow wet himself and they laughed so hard that his executioner wanted to be his friend. If that doesn't make any sense, I'm sorry, that's just what happened.
Overall: 2/10
I went into this with no expectations thinking this was just another isekai, and i was still disappointed by it. Overall, uninspired and boring, would never recommend to anyone with good taste. 2/10 may be a bit generous, it's easily the worst anime of Spring 2021

This movie could best be described as a happy dream of an imaginative child.
Story: 9/10
I think the story is the only thing that this movie does not do perfectly. This movie is a story about a young girl transported to a spiritual world, and it is about her journey to return to the real world with her parents. The story is nice, engaging, and at times can be very emotional, but I think it moves along at a very fast pace, and it feels like some things that end up being very important happen by chance, but I honestly think this makes the movie

feel even more adventurous.
This is where I begin to ramble about everything this movie does wonderfully.
I would not describe a single second in this movie as "boring," it is a movie filled to the brim with adventure, excitement and curiosity, and this is due to two things: the art and sound.
Art: 10/10
The artwork in this movie is so refreshing and satisfying, it's like a roller coaster of creativity, every character is animated beautifully, I constantly found myself looking at a character simply walking around or doing their job and I would wonder "how they do that?' and feel bad for the hands of those animators. There are so many funny, unique, and creative creatures, and the movie never dwells on one person for too long without moving to a new and better creature or expanding on that creature. All in all, the artwork in this moving is stunning to say the least.
Sound: 10/10
The music in this movie is so perfect for the atmosphere, It inspires such a feeling of adventurousness, it makes me want to go outside right now and explore anything I can find. The music does an amazing job of evoking any emotion it wants, and that's exactly what I want in a soundtrack. It makes you feel like taking part in the adventure, there are numerous nostalgic tracks that make you cry, but then make you laugh near the end as they turn more upbeat and playful, tracks that make you think, every track in this movie has a purpose and serves it perfectly.
When you put the sound and music together, you get a movie without a single boring frame. Some scenes that in any other movie could be described as boring are made extremely entertaining by the art and music.
Character: 10/10
As I said before, the characters are funny and creative. There is constantly some kind of interesting character moving in the background,
Summary: This anime should never be described as boring or a kids movie, it is anything but. It is a masterful craft of pure creativity that anyone the world over can love

Overall: 8/10
This is just something to watch between seasons as it's a nice break from the deep dive into depression. It's just a very wholesome and cute movie that made me love Rem and Emilia and everyone else even more. I recommend anyone who enjoys re;zero to watch this at least once, it's not necessary, it's just a good experience. The story is not super special, but it is enjoyable, and this movie is also home to the famous clip of Emilia talking fast
I don't know what else to say about this movie other than I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend anyone watch it

I'm bad at this go easy on me pls, and this is my first time
I think minor spoilers for the second half of Sword Art Online, but it's not too big a deal i think.
In my humble opinion, it was an 8 out of 10 until DIO showed up, or whatever that villain's name is, because he was such a bad character I didn't care to remember his name, so I only know him as DIO because of his VA. Once DIO showed up it was probably a 5 or less. I think that it has good fight scenes all the way through, and

a good score throughout as well. Other than that, everything else this anime does right ends with the first half.
The second half villain.
The villain of the second half is the worst I have seen. His motivations are power and he thinks Asuna is hot. All he wants is to virtually rape Asuna and then get rich. He is evil for the sake of evil and his character makes no sense at all. He does extremely stupid things all the time, but things somehow always end up fine for him until the end. He's overall a terrible villain with no good motivations and none of his character or actions make sense to any sane human.
Other than DIO, the other characters aren't that special. Neither amazing nor offensive, except for one charecter; Suguha
Suguha's mindset throughout doesn't make much sense to me. She ends up falling in love with her brother, which i found very uncomfortable to watch, but then she just gets over it partway through no problems, no questions asked. Her only conflict is not only uncomfortable to watch, but it gets resolved suddenly and for no real reason.
Other than those characters, I thought this anime was pretty good, maybe it's just because I'm a sucker for cool fights with romance mixed in
