When I was 16 years old, I was aware to the anime ''Death Note''. I always wanted to watch it, but I didn't have a time, because of the studies.
But after I've graduated and the anime was still popular, after it was finished airing, I decided to watch it after I've finished D. Gray Man in the holidays.
And thus, any Wednesday (Every day I am watching a different anime), I found myself as a following after Light's steps on the way to kill his victims, while he uses a powerful notebook which called: ''Death Note''.
Story: Exceptional! During the most shounen animes are busy
...
in to cut monsters or evil guys, Death Note brought a genuine story that wasn't in another anime.
Because after all, this anime, you learn that you can't change the world and decide who will live and who will die and only god can do it by itself. What makes the anime educational. LOL
Art: The art was very dark ling, proper to a plot which have dark elements. The background suits well the occupations that happened in the anime non-stop.
But, can someone tell me why Ryuk and the other shinigamis went ugly with scary faces? Why they have no humanity faces such as the human, which have normal faces? I don't know, but, so be it.
Sound: The sound is such as the art. Suits the plot very much. But I don't understand one thing: Why there is a returning continuity that there is a sound of flowing water and after that, Kira's theme? But still, the songs are addicting (Ask also the people who that their favorite song is ''What's Up People?'') and the voice actors in Japanese made a good work (Luckily, I didn't saw in English): Miano Mamorou made a good work as Light, Aya Hirano, went out Misa as well: Dumb as a popstar can please. Yamaguchi Kappei did L very mysterious and after that how he did an awsome character after InuYasha.
Characters: Although Light was the main character, sorry to tell it, but Ryuk is the real star of the anime. Although he dropped the Death Note to the human world and followed after Light, while the second was busy to kill criminals for a better world, Ryuk didn't do anything without eating apples, but still, in the end he went a king.
But with all the respect for Light and Ryuk, my most favorite character is Lawliet L of course. The fangirls (of L) behind me are whispering to me that he is hot. Yes, he is very hot, but it's not enough. In my opinion, the reason I loved L so much, is because he was very smart and very intelligent. He was chasing Kira in any sophisticated plans that for them, he needed the Japanese police and acted them well. You can say that Near is very smart (He leaded the SPK) or Mello is very smart (He used in the abduction way), but still, a guy who plays toys (Near) and a guy who always eats chocolate and leads a mafia, can't beat a guy, although eats sweets all time, knows what he does.
Although Misa was my hated character, because of her foolishness (That maybe came from her voice actor), Misa was a character with a very sad personal life story, and that's why she values Kira's work, although she has a shinigami by herself (Rem).
Enjoyment: I was very enjoyed from the anime. It was such as a spinning roller coaster in specially. Maybe some people think Death Note is overrated, so, guys, you didn't see anything. Death Note is an anime with a very big lesson to your life, in my opinion, but say what you want.
Overall: If you are looking for a shounen anime with ideas that would never been in the other animes of the genre, go to watch Death Note and you won't be disappointment even for a minute.

I have a little confession: Yu-Gi-Oh: Duel Monsters GX wasn't that bad, BUT wasn't that good.
Okay, let's begin:
10 years have passed after we broke up from our beloved Yugi, Atem and their friends, here comes a new story about Judai, a dueling dreamer, who is going to a duel academy to learn how to be the best dueler all over the world. Without to notice, Judai meets Yugi on his way to school, when Yugi gives him a luck card: The Winged Kuriboh (Judai calls him at the beginning 'Partner' and after that, the real name). Since then, Judai comes to school and the
...
adventures begin.
Until here everything is good and pretty. But the 2 first seasons were unnecessary to me. Why? Because they were such as fillers and boring. The improvement is seen in the 3rd season, when there are good episodes and good new characters (Johan of course ^__^). One more surprising thing is the 4th season, that actually is the main portion, during the previous seasons are the appetizers.
But what's the matter? Also on the original Yu-Gi-Oh there was an improvement, But it was since 2nd season. There is a different.
Art was very great and very good, such as any anime I love. Quality? Excellent (Although the dub version has a bad quality LOL)
Sound? Very good. I am also buzzing the soundtrack any single moment(The dub version sounds like a drag-show). The japanese voices very great and the songs also.
Characters? Very great. Judai is so cute, and when he grew up, he was very valued (That's why am I calling him:'Pet-Yugi' XD). Sho sounds twetty, but he was cute. Manjoume? My favourite. Asuka? Very good character. Chronos? was annoying a little. But still, There were many good characters to me. Any character that was a villain at the beginning, has changed to good (Remember Kaiba, Pegasus and Malik?), but in any anime is like that, no?
Enjoyment? I told when I reviewed on the story, but I can tell that I stayed because of many great characters, such as Manjoume, Edo, Fubuki and Ryo (My faves+Johan and Jim from 3rd season and up) and that's why I love the 3rd and the 4th seasons of the anime.
And overall? If you look for bishies (And shipping xD) and you are a fan of the Yu-Gi-Oh series, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters is the perfect anime for you!
[*NOTE: I related for the original version, not for the foolish dub version]

What can I say? Trigun is a good anime. Not more from that.
First, at the beginning, the anime was funny. Many scenes were such as a comedy: When someone was trying to kill Vash, in the end will discover that he shot on some thing.
Second, the characters were great. I liked how Meryl, Milly and WolfWood were accompanied Vash all over his way and Vash himself was funny and cute and allways when he saved someone, he showed how he tries to be a hero, instead of a criminal who wanted on $6,000,000,000. And don't forget the stuck cat, that was always has been pushed
...
and says his funny 'Meow'.
Third, the animation wasn't that good. Okay, the anime was made in the almost ending of 90's, but still, the anime seems that it made in the ending of 80's, because the anime remained me a little Dragon Ball Z for example.
Forth, the soundtrack was in any right place and time. It remained me the wild west, the background of the series.
Fifth, the second half of the series was very interesting and very sad. From this half, we aware to the violence and the sad moments of the series.
But... the reason why am I let to Trigun 9 is because that the end was disappointed me. I won't tell anything, but you should discover by yourself what am I mean.
In any case, in briefly, the anime is good and if you will watch, you will enjoy! :)
