I picked up the first volume of this at my local shop after being intrigued by the cover, and premise. I needed something to read for my commute home and figured it might be good to try this as the second volume was coming out in a month, after a lengthy gap between volumes.
The story is fine for what it is, but nothing really happens in the whole book. Each chapter consists of the man and his giant cat waking up, deciding they either want breakfast or lunch. sometimes they go out to get ingredients, sometimes there are flashbacks to when his wife was

alive, sometimes people questions why the cat is huge/talking, sometimes the man gets sad about his dead wife, they eat the food, sometimes he is surprised how it turned out. Absolutely no development or progression of any kind of story.
I thought I would be okay with this as I have enjoyed similar manga like The Walking Man, but I somehow found that to have more variety to the chapters, even if that was just a man going for a walk. I'm only curious to read Volume 2 to see if anything actually happens in it, in terms or more development of some of the elements only lightly hinted at.
The artwork was good, but nothing else really landed for me on this one. I only recommend this is you like reading the same story, with mild changes, several times in a row. It might not be a good idea to read this in one sitting.
