The use of battle royale as it's plot point is the most noticeable similarity from both of these show. The characters here are "forced" to join in a death game in order to survive and win a precious price. Whether they willingly join or not. The characters are also given some superpower to help their journey.

The concept of terrorism is used as a main aspect from both of the show. One girl got caught up in the middle of the action by accident who then tries to help the main character involved in terrorism act, in a good way.

The usage of CGI elements in animations from both of these movies might the first thing that you recognize have a similarity to each other, but there's more than just that. The settings in which the world that the characters live in from both of the movies has an other world that is somehow connected to the world of main casts came from, is similar. The use of Sci-Fi aspects on pretty much the full 2nd half of these both shows to "save" the MC's love interest is also pretty much the same thing

Both main casts plays pretty much the same style. The FeMC are the ones who have the courage to play the "game", whereas the MC is pretty much useless, but improves over time

When I watched these two anime, the backstory from each MC is kinda similar and somehow gave me tge same type. Both of the male MC's backstory is similar too, moving out from a small village/town to a big city to start a new life. Both of the anime has a romantic and dramatic story to tell, and both story is focused on the male MC

Both anime is basically the same thing. Both of the FeMC shares almost the exact same looks and purposes; a flaming red hair, uses fire type sword, and defeating monsters and/or bad guys who threatened the world that they live in Both has a comedy and romance aspect in it. The only difference that I see from tge main character cast is one male MC is overpowered from the start, while the other male MC is progessively better (from weak to powerful)

The starting point of this two anime are pretty similar; a boy's life turned upside down after meeting a girl. The girl turned out to be some kind of a tool of war. Has only a destiny to fight. The boy on the other hand, is weak and desperate. But as he got to know the girl he met who changed his life, he wanted to be at least useful for her. Both main character's battle strategy concept is kind of similar; the boy's are one who's ordering the moves for the girl. Both plot is kind of similar too, in a way. Defeat the bad guys to keep the world save.

These two anime has a similar story settings, and here's the similarity I got from the two: -Humans are in the brink of extinction and the big creatures are the reasons of it -The male lead is taking his revenge on the big creatures that killed their loved ones

Even tho both of the anime has a different take on the love aspect, but its setting of the drama is similar. Both anime tells a love story between a non-blood related teens that shares the same family and both has a love triangle drama.

The robots itself has a human-like personality that makes them hard to recognize without seeing a device that differentiate them from humans. Both animes are focused on the love of the human and the robot.

Both of the anime revolves around girls who's having a drama in it's current time that has a connection with each of the girls past. Both does have a mysterious main character who helps the girls.
