- Both stories follow misfortune affecting both leads, the character development is well done on both mangas. - The stories a decent even though they are short. - The art is exceptional on both, the characters are neatly drawn and have beautiful scenaries. - Both will make you shed tears :(

Lv2 kara Cheat datta Motoyuusha Kouho no Mattari Isekai Life

The premise of the MC wanting to live a quiet life is similar, the difference being one is a Isekai and the other one is a Fantasy anime. If you liked the slice of life and romance aspect in "Banished from the heroes party" you will like "Lv2 cheat skill". Both start sort of the same being banished to a remote village/place and with these circumstances they make the most of it by living a quiet life without wanting glory nor power. Lv2 cheat skill does have some decent character development between MC and FL. It´s really nice to find shows where the MC isn´t scared of women nor is he too afraid to take the next step. This anime does have a bit more action compared to "Banished from the heroes party" and although it may be cliche in a some Isekai aspects it´s quite enjoyable to watch specially because of Fenry`s. Her relationship with Flio is pure bliss, the comedy and character growth between them is quite similar to both Red and Rit´s. Story wise "Banished from the Heroes party" is better compared to "Lv2 cheat skill" since "Lv2 cheat skill" being an Isekai it does have some some cliche themes like being OP right from the start, having to deal with the demon king, etc. However compared to the rest, by having that slice of life, charismatic charcater and decent comedy touch is makes it distinct from the rest of generic one season Isekai shows. I would recommned reading the manga for "Lv2 cheat skill" since I believe it´s a better adaptation and covers a bit more than the anime, however overall the anime itself if pretty good and having that banger of OP it makes it better.

If you like Spy x Family you will love Yozakura family. The story has more depth and better written, each character is unique and has better world building in my opinion. Although it might seem like a kids manga, it does have a serious tone when it needs, the action scenes are top tier, the comedy is gold, the relationship between Taiyo & Mutsumi is so adorabel and sweet. I can see why Spy x family is more popular, mostly due to the fact the main 3 characters appeal to a wider audience such as Yor appealing to both boys and adult men, Loid to teenage girls and woman and Anya to children or parents. Compared to Yozakura family is mostly teenagers it might not appeal to a wider audience but that´s where you are wrong the character development in some of characters far exceeds Spy x family and unlike Spy x family (for the moment) we can see an age progression of the characters. I like Spy x family, but when a friend recommended me "Yozakura Family" it completely changed my view of thinking Spy x family was the best spy animanga. It is trully worth a read. It´s become one of my favourite mangas!!! Plus the anime has just come out which is a plus!
