Mushoku Tensei is a great story, the anime is still in its first arcs of the story, It's like watching a 300+ episode Shonen and say it's bad just because you didn't like the first 11 episodes of it.
I understand why some people wouldn't like Mushoku Tensei for many reasons, Isekai being one of them, please don't compare this anime to other Isekai, this is different, and trust me It's different in a good way.
This season covers 3 volumes of the light novel, And I think they did it the best way possible, It's just that some people think It's the main plot of the

story, or this season is everything this series got, If you had high expectations for a first season without knowing that this series is probably going to be 150+ episodes, then you're probably going to be disappointed, just as I said, you can't judge a long story completely on the first 11 episodes right?
Let me explain more about why this season was perfect for a story like this, In terms of plot, Mushoku Tensei is the best plot I've ever read in my life, with a concept like Isekai, but having it in so much detail and so many chapters and good characters and worldbuilding and power levels, It works so much to have the characters explore this world and learn the secrets of it, while they're not being overpowered and can do everything, but exactly the opposite, many bad things happen to the characters while they progress and that what makes it more realistic for a story like this, we have turning points and in these turning points the characters progress more and we start liking them more, and the more they progress the older they get and in between all of this there's many events that happen and effect the plot, all that makes Mushoku Tensei one of the greatest stories and concepts ever, like cmon, Mushoku Tensei is called the grandfather of Isekai.
I loved the art and art style, I always Imagined places in Mushoku Tensei while reading, and I was so amazed by how they did it in the anime, the colors chosen and the insane detail in some of the scenes really enhances the experience of the world, and the Animation is so good and I think everyone agrees with that, it has great fight animations, great artstyle that fit into the story and world, I loved the art in Mushoku Tensei.
I have to say that in terms of sound design Mushoku Tensei is not the best I've ever seen, but does it work the best possible for this anime? hell yeah it does and it does it so perfectly, Mushoku Tensei has magic and sword elements, environments and monsters, it works so well with all these and help enhance the experience, and there's even an opening song for each city they reach, I've never seen a 11 episodes anime with 3 good opening songs.
Mushoku Tensei has one of the best written characters in all of anime history, and that's going to reflect more the more we dive into the story, and even for now we have Rudeus our main character, he's one of the most developed and complex characters I've ever seen, sometimes I really hate him and then I change my mind later to feeling sad for him, sometimes I feel like he's so perfect and has reached a point where he's not gonna repeat his mistakes, and then I don't even know what' you're thinking Rudeus he screws up, or maybe become greater, his choices, conversations, and deep inside being the trash NEET he was in his past life, sometimes he thinks of stuff not even say them, but they get me so emotional.
I LOVED Mushoku Tensei, It one of the best anime I've every watched and It's still not even near It's peak, It's still in the first few volumes of the story and Is still progressing, I'm going to watch this series till the end and I'm going to wait for every new season every year until It's complete, so I can go and tell everyone why this was the best story I've ever read, I enjoyed the characters and worldbuilding and story and plot in this season.
Overall this is a very great start for a great story like Mushoku Tensei, I really recommend it, It's going to become a great plot and story eventually and I really recommend giving it a try and sticking together in this great journey!
