Isekai except this time it's Kingdom Administration.
A Japanese guy about to start university is summoned to another world through a hero spell except this time, instead of being a warrior, he becomes the king and shows his talents as an administrator. There are a few similar titles like this, but the simplest comparison is the episode in No Game No Life when Sora and Shiro take care of all the Kingdom's problems by rotating crops, cleaning up government, etc.
Like a lot of other Isekai stories that don't solely focus on battle, the MC knows an absurd amount of very convenient things (like how to manage
...
a forest properly, the recipe for concrete, or how to audit expense records), and also possesses an insane amount of leadership skill and political competence. That said, it's still entertaining.
If you've ever daydreamed about going back in time and how you would use your contemporary knowledge to gain power and reform the past, then this manga will probably interest you.
Oh, and the women have sinfully large boobs. I'm not talking about bowling balls or melons here, I'm talking about pumpkins, plural. I can't tell if it's horrifying or amazing.
9 Chapters out currently. Most scans have small print so it's worth looking around to find images with high resolution so you can zoom without losing quality.

A young man rents a large mansion for a small amount and discovers that it's connected to a dungeon in another world. He rescues a girl and learns that in the other world he has a status table!
Only a few chapters are scanlated as of March 23rd 2018, but it's a fun read. This is the kind of RPG dungeon adventure that is best consumed in large doses. It's a good set up so far though.
There's a ecchi quality to the text, but it's not aggressively sexual. Unfortunately, it looks like our MC is another person who simultaneously wants sex but turns down every opportunity
...
for it, or at least so far. The MC is 21 years old which is a great departure from the always 15 year old protagonists that you get in a lot of other manga. He has a part-time job, and being able to rent his own place also nicely gets rid of any 'hiding the girl I found in another world' from my parents plotline.
The characters, while not groundbreaking, seem real and distinct, or at least they're a good primer for later development. I look forward to seeing where this series goes. It's a solid 7, and with the addition of more chapters, may be a 7.5 or even 8. If you like Isekai RPG stories with some slice of life thrown in, you'll enjoy Boku no Heya ga Dungeon no Kyuukeijo ni Natteshimatta Ken.

An interesting take on the summoned to another world non-rpg isekai. One of the three people summoned to be the demon king turns out to not want to fight. It also turns out that SPOILER.....he already knows magic....SPOILER END.
The MC looks to be OP, but with a disinclination to fight.
The pacing is good, the art is good, and the characters are more defined than in blander 6/10 Isekai.
Only 5 chapters are translated as of March 9 2018. Worth it if you're looking for a quick read if you don't mind that there's not much in the way of material.

OP MC Isekai. Nothing you haven't seen before, nothing you won't see again. If you like a good MC isekai story, you'll like it.
If anything makes this manga stand out, it's the degree of lewdness and fanservice. Some scanlations are censored, some are not, the nudity is about Highschool DXD level, but more common.
The MC is an Issei type pervert. All the girls love him. And his ultimate goal is to build a 100 girl harem. Current chapters have moe animal girl, and pervert-in-denial lady knight.
Not much to say folks. If you're looking for an ecchi OP MC isekai, then this one's for you. If
...
not, go check out something like Dungeon Hunter or Doulou Dalu (at least for the pervert part).
Overall probably a 6, but it's fun enough to be a 7.

Oukoku game or Kingdom Game is worth the quick read it will take (Anywhere from 1 sitting to 3 days depending on your speed).
The story's a death game between multiple groups of people that involves an absolute hierarchy that shifts every day. For this reason the characters have to be political about ordering around their group mates.
The story has a good pace at first and then ACCELERATES like it's about to go out of print. I personally think that the author got bored with the story or funding was cut, but whatever it is, the story picks up the pace like a mo-fo later
...
on.
If you liked Mirai Nikki and other thinking+regular human fighting death games then you should like this, even though it's nowhere near as good. It's a fun concept and a fun story.

TL;DR Watch it for the characters and their relationships with each other.
This is an anime that everyone should watch, but not because it is the greatest anime ever or even one of the top 50.
When watching Tower of Druaga you'll probably say something like "Why am I even watching this? Are these characters even developing?" and "What's keeping me here?"
This is because what's special about Tower of Druaga is that there really is no main character. And this makes it brilliant.
Jil is a kind of focus, for sure, but he really doesn't have all that much screentime and we get Neeba, Gilgamesh,
...
and Ethana side stories all the time. Tower of Druaga doesn't really spend that much time developing the backstories of all these characters and instead presents them to you as human beings that you have to learn about from their actions. Because of the limited points of view and lack of introspection, the main judgements of these characters comes from their actions and not their intentions.
Tower of Druaga is a grown up world in which all actions have consequences that aren't hand waved away. People's fights and attachments to characters are never forgotten and continually shape their relationships. Furthermore the show doesn't give you any Deus ex machinas and all the characters are reasonably powered. This is really a show about watching a group of characters interacting with each other than it is about that group against the world. What's special about Tower of Druaga as opposed to something like Grimgar is that the viewer is NOT a part of that group. Druaga is like reading history or watching documentary footage. You get the feeling that these characters have a full background of experience and reasons for everything that's made them the way they are today. And these reasons cannot be explained or shown in one or two or even 24 episodes. Druaga makes me wonder about why a person did X instead of telling me why or me simply not believing it. All of the characters have their own valid reasons for everything they do and aren't just sucked into a protagonist's story.
Besides the characters, that I could on forever about, what makes this anime great is that it EXPLORES THE POSSIBILITIES. So often, I watch a show and just wish that a character would do something, anything, that would lead to more complicated relationships and greater depth. Like, imagine if Kirito had to kill Asuna halfway through the series. Or if Inuyasha left Kagome for 6 months and went travelling with Kikyo instead. These kinds of developments would add so much depth. When I watch Tower of Druaga I can't resign myself to thinking that everyone's safe or that X person will do probable actions. There are SPOILER multiple betrayals but these also don't result in just anger. Characters betray and re-betray each other all the time, because EVERYONE IS ACTING IN THEIR OWN INTEREST just like regular humans do. Tower of Druaga takes the leaps that everyone else either doesn't consider or is too afraid to do.
Sure the art's blah, there's cgi, the script is whatevs.
Sorry, one second. RELATIONSHIP SPOILER!
They take the leap to have MC have complicated relationships with more than one female. Not 'tsundere instant fall in love' or 'they obviously like each other, come on', but complicated relationships of mutual trust and affection and I love it.
This anime may not be the most fun to watch, but it certainly is very interesting. Its characters are so interesting (at least to me) and their interactions with each other are stronger and more developed than any other show I've watched (besides Bebop). Druaga tells its best stories but not telling you its story. What's unsaid between the characters is where the gold comes from, (like Cowboy Bebop).
You may not fall off your chair every episode, and you may not cry at every death (did I mention that there's meaningful perma-deaths that aren't ridiculously built up to?), but what I hope viewers will come away with is a valuable understanding of inter-relationship dynamics between rational, well developed characters.

There's a lot of hate that gets thrown at this show. But I'm here to tell you that it's okay to like it. It may not be Champloo or Steins;Gate or even Grimgar, but you're allowed to like it. Not every anime needs to be an exercise in critical reflection.
There's a lot of people comparing this to SAO and if you liked SAO you'll probably like this too. But by no means is that an insult. If you like Magi, you'll like this too. If you like RPG and Game type anime you're in for a nice time.
The protagonist is kind and in no way
...
obnoxious. He's not moody or overly immature. He exists in a world in which he's not totally OP and encounters real challenges. Female characters don't suddenly become useless when he shows up. It's a nice, fun show with just enough drama to keep you going. There was definitely a part where I was saying "don't worry there's other episodes, he can't possibly die" followed by "OH MY GOD HE MADE IT".
If you're not into semi light-hearted, floor clearing, fantasy rpg anime then avoid it. But I for one quite liked it and hope you all give it a shot.
