Strike the Blood

Both have a futuristic tecnologic city setting for people with special powers(espers or vampires). Both have the same type of male protoganist with one-trick ability with a growing harem Both plots are convoluted and confusing with lots of lore and intricate characters from behind the scenes(typical of light novels) Strike the Blood is more on the ecchi side with a better art style. While Toaru Majutsu no Index is more on the generic shounen side with more interesting characters and abilities.

Beatless

Both revolve around IA humanized androids used by society in their daily lives and the romantic relationship between the two main characters, a human and an android. Beatless is more focused on the IA dilemma of surpassing human intelligence and how humans and super intelligent IA react to one another. It's much more action-oriented with several robot fights with confusing storytelling. Chobits, on the other hand, is more slice-of-life with a lighthearted tone. It's not as deep or addresses complex topics. It's a simple and fun anime about relationships, in general and berween a human and an android.
