So it's pretty much Spy x Family with shuffled traits
- Sakamoto is an overpowered assassin like Yor, but speak little like Loid
- Shin is blonde and chill like Loid, but reads minds like Anya
- Lu has pink hair like Anya, but is an emotional drunker like Yor
Honestly, I think it's a chill, funny anime, with some quite good action that overlaps with comedy.
It keeps you somewhat hooked, but most of the action ends being quite predictable and a bit of rip-off from other series.
Art: 8/10 - I kind of like how most stuff is drawn in a crayon-like technique. Makes it kinda unique.

I've always been a sucker for anime about noobs grinding their way to the top.
And apparently in the world of figure skating you gotta start early, ideally around 5yo, if you want to become top tier by the time you're a young adult. So our main girl is like 10yo, and people are like "Girl, you're too old to start this, that train has long gone". And it's sad and pathetic and she also knows it well. She has zero skill at anything else, and her self esteem is down the drain, but she'll dream anyway and she's work her way up. If only someone ... Jan 26, 2025

The story is mid. The character development is mid. The animation is... actually pretty top.
Even its "Sister Leveling" version has a better plot than this! So why on earth am I watching this on a weekly basis ?! (at moment of writing this, I'm already deep into Season 2) I don't even know myself. It just catches. It's addictive. It grabs your attention and takes you for the ride. It's the storytelling! It's an impeccable way (doubled by great music and animation) to tell a story that's so basic you've probably heard it 100 times before in other games and anime alike. And yet you've never seen the ... Jan 26, 2025

I started watching this with zero context on this universe, only to find out an hour ago that this anime is actually based on a real Japanese band, and that this anime is not even the first season of its series. I seem to have enjoyed it even so.
Now, as a guy that usually watches action packed anime, I rarely watch shows with full female cast. However, I'm a sucker for dark, fast-paced, psychological drama (ahem, Madoka Magoka, I'm looking at you). And even though this show is technically slice of life (no supernatural so far), the drama of the characters is very real. Unlike ... Nov 14, 2024

Imagine this like an anime adaptation of Shark Tank. Two guys with complementary skills, the techie and the popular, join together to start a company about... well, they don't know themselves, but they find out on their way, right?
This anime does a great job of portraying business situations and startup life, and goes pretty realistic except for some comedy moments and exaggerations. This show is for you if either of the below apply to you: - you love businesses and entrepreneurship - you want to see people that grind for their dreams, working hard no matter what - you enjoy seeing well-developed adult characters interacting in business settings - ... Kishibe Rohan wa Ugokanai

I can't help but feel that Araki-sensei, the author of Jojo, has a bit of a particular liking for this Rohan character of his. Perhaps it is Araki's way to insert himself as a character in the Jojo universe and have his own adventures.
This OVA series contains four individual stories of Rohan, happening shortly after Jojo Part 4, Diamond is Unbreakable. And while it's a different context, it's still the same Jojo vibe and universe. Each of the stories features Rohan in various adventures, as he perpetually looks for inspiration for his manga. Yet the law of attraction between stand users never sleeps, and ... |
