You continue to ignore the fact that the question is not in quantity, but in quality. With the same logic, I can tell you that the show will not become darker from how many characters in it will have mental problems. And yes, all these shows are tragic, the question is what kind of tragedy you personally find more painful.

You change the context of our dialogue. You argued that the show is much darker and deeper, although Oshi No Ko literally concerns such themes as murder, suicide and death in general. No one says that death is the main parameter of dark topics in story. But the show with such topics will clearly be objectively darker than just a show about the personal problems of a group of teen girls. You can say “but I personally were more interesting in Bandori” but we are not talking about personal preferences.

Oshi No Ko does not develop at all and does not use its paranormal thing further than premise, which is a rather big topic of criticism in the fandom. Yes, the finale is completely destroyed, but otherwise I think that this is a purely subjective question "what seemed more interesting to me personally." Therefore, when you say that Bandori is darker and deeper, it sounds very doubtful to put it mildly. Not to mention the fact that you seem to imply that death cannot be well written and that adding it to the plot equivalent to the paranormal element. Which, in turn, can also be written well, by the way.

Oshi No Ko is more commercial, are you serious? Lol, dude, Bandori is literally a multimedia franchise with Waifus and Gacha. In addition, if you think that it is less dark and cruel, then you obviously need to read the manga. At least no one was dying in Bandori and did not become a killer. Bandori has never been a tragedy, especially in comparison with the Oshi no Ko.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
