July 3, 2021 I made a review for this anime and I gave it a 9. I made that review when I was Junior in high school, not noticing the problems with the anime at that time I thought it was good. Ever since then I've read the manga and realized that it was actually bad.
Twin Star Exorcists (Sousei no Onmyouji) is an anime that was given the anime original route which didn't work very well. Even before the story becomes anime only, a lot was changed from the manga that makes the story worse. They added a character to the beginning that stays with
...
our main characters until the last episode and he served no purpose other that to drag out the romance between the main characters when in the manga he is a very loyal and somewhat respectable character that isn't introduced until much later in the story. Dialogue that was meant to have meaning behind it was completely taken out and rebranded, they just took out an important moment in the beginning between two characters for no reason. I can't stress enough how badly this anime was done wrong.... Even certain events were shown out of order when they worked better in the order they were in the manga. It just doesn't make any sense but that isn't may main issue with this adaptation.
The problem with anime only route:
Besides the anime completely messing up the manga content before it becomes anime original, my biggest issue with this is the anime original route they took while making it. In the anime after about 20 episodes or so (I'm just guessing off of memory) the anime turns into 100% anime original content. Events happen that don't matter, characters are introduced that don't matter, manga characters that show up much later are introduced but completely different. I can't really say much without spoiling it, but the anime just becomes horrible. In the manga our two protagonists are separated and both discover more about themselves and their intertwined fate that they are stuck with and have obstacles they must overcome and to eventually meet each other again at a certain location.
I know this review went on about the manga a lot, but lets pretend the manga didn't exist and this whole anime was an anime original, it still would be bad. It's a poorly written story after it becomes anime original and that's about half of the episodes. Don't even bother watching this, just read the manga I promise you it's x100 better. I used to really like this anime until I rewatched it then decided to read the manga afterwards and realized how dirty this anime was done, it's in desperate need of a reboot that is manga canon. If you've seen the anime I suggest you start reading the manga but start from chapter 1, there's a lot of information that the anime doesn't go over that will make everything make more sense.
(I wish I could give it a 1/10 but there's anime much worse than this)
Final Score 4/10

You cannot tell me this anime is good... God it the most basic thing I've ever seen. tHe dEmOn kInG hAs rEtUrnEd like bruh how many anime are gonna have the idea of Demon King and a guild and adventures. It doesn't take any of these concepts and doesn't expand on it at all. I almost fell asleep in these first 3 episodes and I just can't bring myself to catch up to episode 4. The mc should've met up with her dad in the first episode instead of dragging it out for 3 episodes to the point that nobody cares anymore. The art style
...
in this anime is basic, nothing special about it at all. If you like this anime you must've never watched an anime before or something.

This manga is pretty unique from the typical manga where the mc is just op cause why not or the mc is holding back his power cause why not.
In this manga the mc isn't strong at all and has his actual abilities suppressed. People at school bully him and treat him like an outcast because of this, and I'm talking like how Naruto was treated as a child but with people physically attacking him as well and even his girlfriend breaking up with him over it after they were 'inseparable' since their childhood. He trains everyday to become stronger but doesn't gain much progress. Eventually
...
he gains power and the ability to temporarily turn off his suppression ability but isn't able to control it and he actually holds back so he won't go berserk or destroy his body. Of course this kinda thing has been done before but there are other things in this manga that make it more interesting. It has it's flaws don't get me wrong, but overall it's enjoyable and has a good premise. It's a shame it was just a promotional manga for the source material and they ended it so early.
Overall 8/10

Let me start off by saying that the entire anime is CGI and it's really bad CGI so if you don't like that then now you know.
Personally I think the world building in this anime is pretty good, we get information on the ancient times quite often which is actually interesting like with the sign keeper and the 'monster' and the laser Kaina uses with some other stuff to like the history of Atland. Our main antagonist the admiral was honestly your basic bad guy, he's a bad guy because the story requires him to be one, nothing to crazy. Honestly the only good
...
thing about this anime is the world building and Rie Takahashi.
Story: 7/10
Art: 2/10
Sound: 5/10
Final score 4/10 almost a 5/10 but not quite

I guess you could say this has spoilers in it but it's not anything big, anyone that reads this won't understand what happens in the entire movie or fully understand the plot.
Well this was disappointing, I was expecting this movie to be at least somewhat good but it didn't live up to my expectations. This isn't even movie quality it looks like a regular anime episode but worse. The voice acting in this movie was just bad, it's like the voice actors just put no emotion into playing these characters. Everything else is fine in this movie up until the main character gets a different
...
hair color in a different world and then we get a time-lapse of his life in this parallel world which came out of nowhere, no narration or explaining what is about to happen the music came on and it just started to speed-run his life. After it's finished the main character has some way to save Shiori and he does it but it doesn't even make any sense, they didn't explain anything he just went and did it. Somehow he is young again and is PYSICALLY TOUCHING HER, this doesn't make any sense SHES A GHOST then he says lets get married and she is happy I just don't understand what was the director thinking while writing the last quarter of this movie, everything isn't explained and the characters just do things and they just happen to work out for some reason...
5/10 I would not recommend this to anyone.

This was the best thing I've seen from this series. I thought the season 3 finale was the peak of this series but boy I was wrong. We pick up after the end of season 3, Miyuki and Kaguya both think about the kiss, a moment just between them, the setting was perfect but of course something is not exactly right. Hayasaka of course informs Kaguya of what she shouldn't have done and the conflict begins. The first half our characters don't understand how to communicate with each other. Kaguya breaks down and Miyuki more and more confused by her and starts to almost think
...
she dislikes him, to him it's almost as if they've become strangers again, like everything up until now was not real. It can be awkward to talk about these things in real life but Hayasaka understands this and becomes a gateway connecting them. Kaguya and Miyuki both understand about each other more than ever before.
Kaguya, a girl that wants to be an ordianry person but never knew how due to her upbringing, the way she viewed everything was vastly different from everyone, nobody understood her, nobody tried to understand her, and she couldn't understand them. Miyuki a guy that has dedicated everything to improving himself, creating a false persona all to win his mothers affection, for her to some day notice and maybe come back to their family.
Miyuki is the only person to understand Kaguya and why she seems so cold and unapproachable, he understands she doesn't want to hurt anyone and he loves that about her. Kaguya finds out how Miyuki views her and can't understand why he'd ever like her, she views herself as a terrible person but he just doesn't see that. Kaguya understands why Miyuki is so dedicated to be at the top and maintain the #1 spot and she accepts him and the him when he was a failure. Both take off their masks and reveal each others true selves and both are happy, they accept one another. It's truly just, beautiful writing.
I was absolutely blown away after watching this, it rose above and beyond my expectations and continued to rise higher and higher, this is the greatest the anime has ever been without a doubt.
10/10 I STRONGLY Recommend This

Well I had high expectations for this anime before it aired and it lived up to those expectations for the first few episodes. However all good things must come to an end.
I love swords and the concept of someone being "reborn to master the blade" was interesting to me, but I was disappointed when the main character barley even uses a sword and 99% of the time punches and kicks her opponents instead. It's like clickbait on a YouTube video but for anime, I feel like I've been scammed.
Anyways, I didn't rate it a 6 just for that but that's part of it. The honestly
...
the CGI looks really nasty, it looks like they didn't even try to make it look at least half way decent. Basically nothing is explained, who are the highlanders? What happened to the nation the mc was king of? What's up with these runes? Why do the highlanders take the land and turn it into a sky island? So many questions that were never answered, they were basically forgotten about after it was brought up.
The characters can only be described in one word, mid. Our main character is actually fine, in fact I like her. Rafinha on the other hand, she has to be one of the most mid main characters, she gets no development and her only purpose is to copy Inglis and praise her like the rest of the group after she saves the day. The only thing 'interesting' about Leone is that she has a brother that committed some crime or something and is treated like an outcast, but of course that is resolved in an episode or 2 only with our main group. Of course after our main characters accept her nobody else seems to mind her for some reason even though they were about to distinguish her from regular people so easily before she met the main characters. Liselotte is just annoying and has almost no personality besides being annoying. Eris was an interesting character but because of that the author decided to make her vanish in the second half of these 12 episodes.
Honestly I had high expectations for this, the beginning is good, the middle is like watching Naruto fillers and the end is watchable, I'll go as far to say it's entertaining.
I have one more thing to say about the characters, WHAT IS UP WITH THESE GIRLS SMILES!? GOD DAMN. It's like watching Trinity Seven all over again, please for the love of god learn how to draw a smile, it's genuinely hard to watch.
If you like a mostly female cast of mostly no personality girls with goofy smiles that don't look like smiles then I guess this is the anime for you. 6/10

After the ending of part 1 of this season, Bell and Ryu find themselves in a very dangerous situation. Being chased down by a monster that was created by the dungeon just to kill certain players and everything in it's way and being stranded on the deep floors while the rest of the Hestia familia is on a higher floor fighting a floor boss. The episode leaves off Bell and Ryuu resting as the rest of the Hestia familia starts to make their way to help them. Honestly there isn't too much to say about this that's really bad besides the CGI on the floor
...
boss, it was honestly pretty bad and that 2 characters should've died but somehow they didn't but hey that's anime logic for you. Also the colosseum was a bit disappointing from what I expected but it is what it is. For those that say the CGI was terrible, that you are correct, however it is difficult to animate such a big thing on the screen so I'll let the animators get a pass for this one.
Later on we get to see the interaction between Bell and Ryu, we get the long awaited backstory about her familia and how they died. In the flashbacks of the episodes with Ryu and her familia we get to see her learn and pass on those teaching that her familia taught her onto Bell. In the end, they kill the Juggernaut and collapse, our other characters were already on there way down to the deep floors and found them shorty after they collapsed. The last episodes really focused on Ryu, which I think was well done, out of all the characters in Bell's harem she is undoubtedly the best and it's not debatably. I was most hype for these episodes coming out and I'm hoping season V is announced.
It deserves a 9/10 but I am bias.

NO SPOILERS:
Damachi is a series that was alright in the first season, fell off the second season, and made a huge come back in this third season.
The fourth season of Damachi was interesting to say the least, there was a lot of lure about the dungeon revealed to us that I personally find very interesting and it makes me wanna know what the dungeon really is, how it came to be, and why the gods don't have control over it.
SPOILERS:
The beginning of the season starts off with Cassandra having a vision of the future. She has talked about these visions in the
...
past, however we were never shown actual visuals of what she saw, this season was different we see exactly what she sees, this gives the watcher a better understanding on the situation and that what she saw may be true or the future may appear to look something like this without directly saying it. The Hestia familia is given a mission to go down deep into the dungeon to an area they've never been to before, not being able to deny this request they do exactly as instructed, while down there they encounter a monster that is not only intelligent but is still hostile towards not only humans but other monsters as well. This alone gives us a better understanding of how the dungeon works the deeper you go. After some episodes the first half of the season concludes with Bell killing the monster after struggling before.
The second half of the season is when the it gets interesting and it starts to build up hype. While trying to uncover the truth of Ryuu and if she killed someone or not Bell finds and confronts her and eventually decides to believe in her. Unknown to Bell she was chasing someone, Jura a person who helped kill her familia who escaped from her. Jura can put monster under his control and plans to put the same monster that killed Ryuu's entire familia with ease. This monster only appears under certain conditions, it appears from the dungeon to kill anything dealing a significant amount of damage to the dungeon in the area the damage occurred. After controlling a monster to burrow through floors and setting explosives off this monster from the dungeon appears and it's only objective is to kill everything in that area. After the anticipation of waiting to see this what this great catastrophe is that Cassandra saw in her vision from the start of the season, it slowly makes it's way towards Bell, Ryuu, and Jura. Jura plans to control the monster with a magic item, however this fails and Bell is forced to attack it while Ryuu is in a state of shock from seeing the monster that killed her whole familia right before her eyes a second time. The monster easily destroys Bell, almost killing him before he falls into water and sinks to the bottom. After being healed by Marie, a friendly monster he meet from the first half of the season he goes to fight once again but with a new strategy. Bell deals damage to the monster but nowhere near enough to stop is from attacking, after this Bell falls with Ryuu to the deep floors where the season ends. This floor is extremely dangerous, level 4 adventures such as Bell and Ryuu normally group up in large parties are still very cautious and could still die. Ryuu is badly injured and Bell is injured himself but not as bad.
This season explains a lot to us about the dungeon but also goes into depth of Ryuu and her as a character, we also get to see Bell not with his familia, this is the first time we've seen him not with his whole familia for a while, it shows us just how strong he currently is. I really enjoyed this season and can't wait for the next part which is due to air January 5, 2023, I will diffidently watch it.

People hating on this just because it's popular and think it's overrated isn't a very good reason to say you 'dislike' it. If something is popular there's a good chance it's actually good.
Kimetsu no Kaiba may not be very unique but that's not a bad thing, it's very entertaining, for me that's all that matters. If the anime is able to entertain you then I think it's good.
The actual story of the this arc isn't as big as lets say the first season but it's still good. We get a better understanding of how strong the upper rank demons really are. From this arc
...
the 4 main characters Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke actually understand what it means to fight an upper rank demon now, before they only saw an upper rank demon in this arc they actually fought one and just BARELY won.
ufotable surprises us again and again first with the first season, then the mugen train movie, and now this. The visuals of this arc are some of the best I've seen, I'd even say they are the best I've ever seen.
There isn't much to say about the actual sound of this except that with a lot of anime the sounds match up with the scene perfectly and especially in episode 10.
Tengen Uzui is a very unlikable character at the beginning but later ion as you get deeper into this arc the more likable he becomes. Daki is alright, there isn't much to say about her. However Gyuutarou is basically the complete opposite of Tengen and imminently begins to hate him, after Tengen reveals more about himself Gyuutarou hates him even more and it's a nice way to start the conflict between them.
After watching this I thought it easily surpassed the first season and the movie. I found this a lot more enjoyable than the other two (not the say the other two aren't enjoyable, they are) episode 10 in this was the perfect episode in how it was done to the visuals, art, and even dialogue at the beginning it really was just a perfect episode.
Overall, I loved these 11 episodes and every week I waited for a new episode to come out and just couldn't wait for next Sunday every time I finished an episode, I 100% recommend this after you watch the first season and the Mugen movie or the 7 episodes of course.
