Feet the Animation!!! Whoever is behind this show must be a relative of Quentin Tarantino. The characters are all gorgeous in their own ways. But seriously, the sheer amount of feet on display is slightly disturbing, but also highly sexy. The main character wants to be liked so badly, but she is also highly adored by her classmates. It's really endearing. I'm only 1/3 of the way through the show, but it's already screaming waifu of the decade. We'll have to see where it does go, but the cute girls doing cute things vibe is strong with this ... one. Anime quality budget with such a simple concept is really heartwarming to see.

Another season of this amazing show, and even better than the first. Nishikata just can't catch a break against Tease Master Takagi.... but the love is so strong between these two. Though you want them to get together, where's the fun in that happening. It's much better to enjoy all of these random games and situations they are in, knowing that yes they will be together eventually, but this is such a pure enjoyment of youth that it's so warm and amazing to watch develop. This is such a beautiful comedy/romance that it truly makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside ... each episode and at times brings tears to my eyes in a good way. If you haven't taken the plunge yet, go back to season 1 and start from the beginning. Takagi is truly a perfect girl to spend time with, she is so beautiful, kind, and fun... you'll fall in love with her too!

What can I say, this show is an absolute masterpiece. The visuals are beautiful, the story is unique, the opening song is super catchy, and the characters are all very different and interesting. Every week when I would get to watch the new episode that aired, I was always so excited to smile and laugh out loud with the extreme plot points that would be featured in the episodes. I knew who Cinderella was, it was obvious, but still I was so happy to devour each episode and each week seemed so long waiting for the next one to come. I ... do hope that we get an OVA or 2 to enjoy some additional fan service, despite the show being littered with it throughout. Still, I really love the characters and will have to get the show into my hard drive ASAP so I can enjoy it again and again. I will say, I did only watch the subtitled version, so I can't vouch for if there is a dub or how good the voice acting would be in that version. Definitely in my top 3 anime this season, along with Takagi and Fairy Tail.

I just finished binge watching Kuzu no Honkai. I watched the whole season in just under 24 hours. Once I started watching it, I just found it nearly impossible to stop. Considering that I work full time, I had to force myself to sleep at nearly 3 am and watch the rest of the season after work. This show had been hailed by many as the best of the spring season, and I will admit, it is a shame that I put it off until now. However, I also am glad that I did, because it would have killed me ... to watch it week by week and have to wait 6 or 7 days between episodes. This is a very adult anime about relationships, which deals with the idea of putting on a mask for people which conceals the psychological inner turmoil going on beneath the surface.

Kuzu no Honkai is about love in a way that no other anime I have ever seen has portrayed. It is about desire, jealousy, trying to fill the inner void, and unrequited love. The art is amazing, the same quality most of the time as anime movies. The Intro and Ending songs are both really good and I will have them in my head for a while I'm sure. The background music was also very good and never felt out of place for the emotions or story at hand. The story was unique and captivating, it had me on the edge of my seat most of the time, wondering what would happen next. Most anime have a love triangle or something else with a few character, but in this story, it's layer upon layer of love. Some are reciprocated, others are left with only their desire.

The Characters in Kuzu no Honkai are not flat. Each one of them is far deeper than most characters in every anime I've ever seen. It's one thing to say that you love someone, but are you truly willing to accept them for who they are, or are you only hoping for some ideal version of them which only exists in your mind. In this story, there are characters who are willing to even accept the one they love being with other lovers, just so long as they can also be with them. No one is perfect, and Kuzu no Honkai shows some good examples of characters who are willing to love and accept another character despite knowing how broken and fragile they are inside.

I truly enjoyed the entire series from start to finish. I feel like looking back, people will see this show as the best show of the year, in terms of being groundbreaking and setting a new standard for what a romance story not only can but should explore. Instead of making a 1 dimensional story which repeats what other shows have done with the same anime tropes we see in every anime, we deserve more. Kuzu no Honkai gives us truly fleshed out characters which seem almost real. They have honest looks into their feelings and face their fears head on. I highly suggest this show to any adult anime fan. You will thank yourself for spending the time to complete it. I rate all aspects of the show 10/10 and I look forward to more romances like this in the future.

So, I have to say, If you have seen this show and didn't completely love it, you probably watched the Subtitled version. If you go back and watch the show in English Dub, you will agree with me that what they accomplished was nothing less than a masterpiece. Basically you end up with something along the lines of the comedy and ad-libbing that that free form voice acting like Ghost Stories or really good abridged series produce.

To be fair, the story isn't really that great, the art is better than average but I do like the variety in the character's appearance. Although ... they did go super overboard on Loli-Big-Boobs. But the English Dub, which I consider sound, makes the characters and enjoyment level go through the roof. Because of this, I write the average story and non spectacular art off as casualties of war. So I do hereby grant the English Dub a 10/10 overall and hail it as a masterclass in terms of what all comedy Dubs should aim for. Check it out and you will surely be laughing out loud as I was.
