Mitsuboshi Colors is about three girls who formed a group called Colors to protect the peace of the town they live in - or so they believe, because they mostly just play the detective, solving cases given to them by other people. The kids interact with a lot of people in the city, and everyone seems to know them, so they help them in their play, with one exception: the true enemy of the Colors, Saitou, a police officer who's always picked on by the girls.

This anime is easily one of the best SoL ever made, seriously. This show focuses on showing the daily lives of the main characters - four kids playing all day and the older sister of one of the kids that's unemployed.
The interactions between all girls are cute and funny, they sound really natural, just some kiddos playing with each other. Each character is unique: Miu is the devilish child, Matsuri is super innocent, Chika is the most reasonable, and Ana the foreign girl. The older sister Nobue is there to take care of these children, but she mostly ends up playing with them. This show ... |
