Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai

I strongly urge fans of OreImo to watch Koi Kaze. Both shows deal with the topic of incest, specifically a romantic love between brother and sister, but Koi Kaze actually brings up legitimate issues that could arise if siblings decided to become a couple. There's no peer approval, no understanding family members, no marriage, no 'love-finds-a-way', only a strong rejection from society. Additionally, Koi Kaze analyzes realistically the psychological profile of a brother that falls in love with their sister (and vice-versa) without sugar-coating it; the heavy mental pitfalls that befall the pair - a mixture of self-loathing and never-ending anxiety - are a hard, but refreshing, watch. If you want to see the incest taboo explored to its full depth with masterful, mature lens, watch Koi Kaze.

Digimon Adventure

Pokemon Advanced and Digimon are both about the symbiotic bond between humans and their intelligent "monsters" and the trials and tribulations that they go through. Neither of these series is extremely plot-oriented, but prefer to show the characters' daily lives through repetitious battles. Both strongly point out the importance of friendship and team-work, but sometimes border on being too moralistic. It's almost a given that you'll love one series, if you were a fan of the other.

Saber Marionette J

Saber Marionette J and Chobits are both series that start out with a jovial, buoyant atmosphere scattered in with some ecchi moments, but later on shed their masks in favor of a more sci-fi, multi-layered story. They both deal with the lifelong question of the difference between humans and machines, and give out fascinating answers. While Saber Marionette J is more intelligent and thought-provoking (at times), fans of one series will undoubtedly like the other as well.

Saishuu Heiki Kanojo

Saikano and Kimi ga Nozomu Eien try to combine romance and tragedy, but their attempts fail miserably due to a weak cast of characters, bad pacing, and a poorly-executed plot. They thrive on needless melodrama that cheapens the main story to the point that the audience is either yawning or laughing by the time the last episode rolls by. Both series have main characters that act in hysterical and overly exaggerated ways that make them almost painful to watch. So if you managed to like one, and for some mind-boggling reason you want to watch something similar, then you won't be disappointed.

School Days
add

School Days and Kimi ga Nozomu Eien are very similar in many ways, especially in plot and characters. In both of these series you'll find the usual stereotypical characters that are pretty common in this type of anime: The painfully shy girl who obsessively loves the male lead, the tomboyish, outgoing girl who becomes more and more angsty and melodramatic as the series goes on, and the male lead with barely any personality whatsoever. Both anime also have a soap opera-like love triangle that is the cause of much angst in both shows, and due to contrived reasons (mainly due to the male lead's extreme indecisiveness), it continues. However, whereas Kimi ga Nozomu Eien ended in a bittersweet way, School Day's ending was brutal and violent. I'm positive that fans of one show will definitely like the other.
