As the synopsis says, this is an OVA adaptation of a popular mobile app in which you create your own moe characters. How did they manage to adapt an anime story to reflect this? I'll tell you. A company on the cutting-edge of technology is preparing to release their latest service: a mobile app that can literally, physically recommend and change your outfit. Sound fun? Each purchase of the app will provide the user with their own personal mairoid (a moe-android). I suppose the consumers would then use the app to change the clothing of their mairoids?

The OVA follows two girls, hired as idols ... by the same company for their moe-affinity. One is your typical 'genki-girl' the other is your typical tsundere. As they go about their day, they inadvertently undergo a series of tests involving the new clothes-changing app.

Moe Can Change! is a short, but fun little episode with cute characters wearing many cute outfits. The characters are pretty and the animation is on par. The story is bare bones, but supported well enough in the allotted time frame. If you're looking for a deep, intellectual watch, look elsewhere. Otherwise, know what you're getting into: a short, fun slice of moe blob. For a 20 minute game adaptation, I thought the project was excellently executed. [7/10]

TLDR: It's a show about moe. Watch it if you like moe.

This is a rape/gangbang scenario hentai with a slight twist. I am basing this review on the first two (2) episodes.

[Story 5]
The story, in a nutshell: the main character was a former top fashion model who has since retired to raise her younger sister. The younger sister was able to break into the fashion modeling world with the help of her sister's connections, but has reservations of never being able to meet the expectations of the public, being related to a former top model. She joins a self-help group, which turns out to be some sort of rape cult. After learning of this, the older ... sister must infiltrate the cult to save her little sister. Many semi-rape scenarios ensue.

[Art/Animation 9]
The art was superb. Clean lines, nice colors and top-notch character designs. The main character is particularly beautiful. Animation is very smooth during sex scenes, quite better than most titles released this year.

[Scenes 7]
What you can expect: Threesome, some group, 1 girl 3-4 guys, orgy. Be warned if you hate the old man-young girl pairing, this may not be for you as it is quite prevalent. That being said, the show is fairly tame and the scenes are best described as semi-rape or semi-forced. There is semi-unwillingness, but no mind-break.

[Overall 7]
Rape scenarios typically aren't my thing, but Ran-sem stands apart with great character design and fluid scenes. I was especially fond of the main character, whose voice acting was very passionate and full of zeal, making her stand apart of some more generic heroines in similar titles. Overall, I enjoyed Ran-sem. 7/10
