I'd recommend Sakamoto for the comedy, both shows take place in a high school where the main character is at the top of the school in terms of social status. Sakamoto desu ga may not have the romance (unless you count Yoshinobu's mum) but the comedy is right on par, both shows are hilarious

I feel like when One Punch Man parodies other shounen anime, Seven Deadly Sins is the type of show they are parodying. But even at its worst, One Punch Man does the style better on every level.

My Hero Academia shares a wide variety of interesting powers in a shounen style that simply does it far better than Seven Deadly Sins

Probably the closest in the sense that the protagonists are orphans with a dark and perilous journey ahead of them. The difference there being that in Made in Abyss they are moving toward the danger whereas in Promised Neverland, they are trying to escape it. I'd recommend this show mainly because it captures that tense feeling of insurmountable odds being stacked against the main leads, a lot of the time you are wondering if giving up might be the less painful option, whereas continuing with the quest may not be for the best. The evil in either show seems to be the world itself and how life simply is. They will both leave you with the feeling of anguish but also with hope. Both beautifully written and animated. I would honestly recommend either show to anyone regardless of similarities to each other or other popular anime's.
