Ya'll....
Do you like anime with original stories? Do you like a bit of mystery and heavy brooding in your titles? Do you like GIANT, and I mean GIANT gaps in between your character's eyes? And do you also love squandered potential? Then you'll LOVE Doctor Stone.
Ya'll. C'mon. I was so excited for this one. Legitimately. Science overcoming the pitfalls of a cataclysmic event that renders the known world back to the stone age!? How can you NOT like it!?! I'll tell ya how, by watching this anime unfold week to week because it's GOT DANG PAINFUL to sit through.

of 10. What, exactly, is the point of going back to the stone age if you re-modernize yourself within the first few episodes of the first series. Tack on a convoluted plot about astronauts and throw in a some heavy plot convenience and you've got yourself some DOCTOR STONE. WOW! The setup is already there, why not pace the story and indulge in the lack of technology before immediately reintroducing it.
This is like watching Attack on Titan and we immediately jump to the invasion arc.
It's not bad. But it's certainly not good, and absolutely not worth 24 episodes. The entire concept of Dr. Stone is resolved almost immediately, and even worse, it's done through MONTAGES.
Art? Ya'll. The eyes. I can't. Why is there so much space. Why are their eyes on the side of their heads. Why does perv character flip TF out every time he's on screen. It's disturbing and I want it to stop. Please god the nightmares. And I thought Asta's screeching was bad. Holy cats. 4 out of 10
Sound: I could definitely hear it. 6/10?
Characters? Whew, this is a big heaping pile of FOUR out of ten. A MC that is hyper OP, an awakened perv and of course an antagonist that is as shallow and predictable as foil to the MC.
Enjoyment? 4 out of 10. The pacing is absurd. Why the rush?!
Overall? 4 out of 10. Whew chile. Not here for it. I can't. Ya'll, please. 24 episodes of this and I am S H O O K E T H. I could have rewatched Boku No Pico like a true person of culture. I'm guessing season 2 we're back to using 2020 technology because why the hell not? S1, the entire premise is thrown out as quickly as it starts. Stone Wars? More like "hey nothing matters wars" AMIRITE!?
If this is doing it for you, hell yeah bruh, I'll drink to that, lets hold hands and watch s2. But dear lord if it ain't, I'm here for you. I gotta add that balance to an overwhelming pop culture following. I'm legitimately disappointed that this one dropped the ball.

Ya'll, I dunno if it's the lack of sleep delirium or what, but "The Way of the Househusband" has me DYING right now.
Gokushufudou easily hits the slapstick humor and genuine comedy that's often tried in anime, but never executed thoroughly enough.
This is the dumbest, yet funniest got dang nonsense I've seen in a while. We got people out here still talking about" KONO-SUCK-BA" but passing on this underrated GEM of stupidity. The flea market scene ALONE is worth the price of admission. If you're looking for some good, SILLY, grounded comedy, this is the one.

Art? Weird and janky af but I'm here for it. Why not. If we can suffer digital anime, this is an easy go.
Characters? Look at Husbando's apron and try to tell me that ain't it.
Enjoyment? 10/10. Easy. This. Is. FUN.
Overall? Highly recommend. Ya'll, treat yourself. You like to laugh, I know you do. I love when you laugh. Live laugh boof, that's what I always say. Take a chance, how much isekai can you really watch, real talk. You'll thank me later.

I'mma drop the unpopular opinion right here, but I feel like I need to add a bit of balance. You know I wouldn't lie to you, ya'll too cute for that.
Ya'll. If Odd Taxi is a masterpiece as anitwit keeps claiming, then we REALLY need to take a hard look at our surrounding anime titles of this day and age. If this SHINES then we need to accept that everything else must be incredible DULL.
Odd Taxi? More like PLOT CONVENIENCE the anime, starring ANIMALS. I'd like to say it's original, but with the rise of BStars, BNA, Zootopia and whatever that

MLP thing is, this anthropomorphic character choice isn't even that unique anymore.
Story? If you like dull, drab, uninteresting monotone dialogue, you'll love this anime. If you can't fit the square peg into the square socket you'll LOVE the "mystery" of this anime! Ya'll really out here making excuses for that that the GIANT GAPING GOATSE of a plot convenience in the penultimate episode? Why doesn't Edward Elric just find a philosopher stone in his back pocket? Why doesn't Gon just walk around the block and find Ging? Why? BECAUSE STORY MATTERS. UNLESS I'M WATCHING ODD TAXI.
Art? It's fine? It's certainly animated. The animation isn't the issue.
Sound? Soundtrack? What's that?
Characters - Again, dull, uninteresting. Bruh. An alpaca that can do capoeira, wowow. A hippo and a....squirrel?.....A rat? I dunno wtf he is, but they are both addicted to social media. A monkey that uses his dreams and lackluster life to justify his incel nature and lies to get laid by a cat idol? Wow. R I V E T I N G. Like a character? I hope not, because they don't go anywhere. They serve their singular purpose and are forgotten just as quickly.
But hol up. It ain't all bad. YANO is the MVP of this anime. Unique, wild af, and worth watching. I know ya'll culture out here, you'll appreciate Yano.
Overall? Na mate. This ain't it. This isn't anime of the year, this isn't a masterpiece, and it's not a Tarantino flick. Anitwit and YTanime is out here salivating over this title, and it's fine. Check it out. Or don't. I don't know your life. But temper your expectations because it's not that groundbreaking. It's fine. That's about it.
TLDR- A strong conclusion does NOT make this anime a masterpiece. It just doesn't. And no, it's not a got dang Tarantino film just because multiple stories come together in the end. Stop it.

Ya'll. Do you like stories that have an incredibly unique story? Are you interested in an anime that takes the "I S E K A I" craze and turns it on its head? Do you like seeing a great idea get squandered and set on fire, burned to a crisp in a giant steaming dumpster fire?!

Characters? The framework and foundation is there, but none of the characters get much of anything to do besides "this person is my nemesis, we are going to FIGHT". Magane? Cool character right? Who doesn't LOVE a good FANGED Waifu amirite? I know you know, you're a person of culture. But guess what, I hope you don't get too invested in her, because she's introduced, walks around in circles for a bit then THE CREDITS ROLL. YOU NEVER SEE HER AGAIN. WHAT? HOW?! WHY!? That's like if Scar showed up in FMA and then NEVER got any resolution before the conclusion. I'm S I C K.
Enjoyment? Low. REALLY low. You think for all of Altair's brooding and plotting things would develop in a BIG way. Nope. You may as well buy an ice cream, take a lick, then let the rest fall on the scorching pavement in the heat of summer, because that's about as much substance as you're gonna get.
Overall? Bruh, this is one that made me ANGRY that I spent so much time watching. I could have been watching some PRISTINE art (H E N T A I ) or hugging my body pillow or ANYTHING BUT waiting for this to end. DISAPPOINTMENT is an understatement.
Please, you know I care about you, don't do it to yourself. Or do. I don't know your life. I trust you to make the best decision based on your own tastes. I hope you love it. Because I didn't.

Lemme say. Ok we get it, they are in the same universe, but hot damn is this SO much better. Guns, action and tiddy, what else do you need? Here's a GOOD, CRIME, ACTION, GUN RUNNING anime.

10/10. Arms dealer with a badass crew who just so happens to pick up a child and turn him into a hesitant killing machine? Sign me TF UP. TEN OUT OF TEN
Art? Guns, violence, and weapons can be ugly in the real world, but holy TIDDY does this anime do a good job of turning them into artistic art pieces of mass destruction. The animation is flawless. For an anime that focuses specifically on military hardware, the ground level animation is STUNNING. The SOFIA fight speaks for itself.
Sound? Pew pew TF UP TO 10/10
Characters? Bruh, he has red eyes. Sofia got the tiddy. Koko is some weird amalgamation, but they are STILL GOOD. AND her entourage is comprised of a BADASS host of characters who all get their own storylines to flesh them out. What else do you want? It took DEKU THREE SEASONS TO FIGURE OUT HE HAD LEGS. CMON. THIS DOESN'T TAKE THAT LONG.
Enjoyment? Ya'll. Cmon. 10/10. Watch the first 3. Or don't. I don't know your life. If you want that "lets hold hands UwU daddy senpai" this ain't it. Ok. If you want some good ass crime anime in BLACK LAGOON style? Get it. Lets hold hands and watch it. BEST OF BOTH WORLDS.

Ya'll, this is straight up hentai. Be warned, no story here, just big ol anime tiddy. If you're into anime tiddy, cool, if not , I'd keep it moving.
