Welcome to Puzzle Games: The Anime.
Pretty much the only reason I watched this is because the studio is new and I wanted to support the underdog and because the genre is "Game".
Nazotokine is a "Game" anime, but probably not the game you're looking for. It's not SAO, Log Horizon, .hack//, etc. It's like you're watching a lets play of one of the puzzle games on steam but not as good and you're watching a lets play of a puzzle game. The one anime I can think to compare it to is Death Parade and that's a bit insulting to Death Parade.
There's a lot of CG.
...
So if you're really turned off to anime with overabundant CG this is not a show for you. This is to be expected since the studio is primarily a CG studio (seriously go look up their previous work, they've done the CG on a lot of big shows). That said, A LOT of the scenes are filled with CG. It's not the worst I've seen, but it's not subtle. (http://ten-gu.com/work/tv)
There's some pretty conspicuous fanservice. Whoever designed the characters really put the O in boobs. Also, things get a bit "exciting" when she finishes a puzzle so avoid kids and work.
All the main characters, which consists of MCboobs-chan's coworkers, look exactly the same but with different hair styles. Also, they seem to drink a lot, maybe the animators are projecting their problems into the anime. So if there's one thing this show did improve on, it's making anime real.
The plot goes a little something like this. MCboobs-chan works at a company and suddenly gets pulled into a "game" world to complete puzzles (see human labor) for a little satan pig thing in order to farm orgasm crystals. Then it happens 5 more times. The settings are all different setups for the same process of starting a puzzle. Really deep stuff. Also, there are two episodes where some other girl is also playing but not really cause you never see her again.
Just kidding, I found the plot: https://i.imgur.com/AMyFGDi.png
The puzzles aren't good. There's not a whole lot to say about this. It's pretty obvious how she's going to complete the puzzles as soon as the pig gives her hints, but they still manage to drag out the whole process for a good three minutes each time. Most of them are just Rebus Puzzles (http://kids.niehs.nih.gov/games/brainteasers/rebus-puzzles/).
It's not a great anime, not that I really expected it to be. There's nothing that stands out or feels revolutionary, but on some level, I can appreciate the work the studio put into it despite being primarily a CG studio. Animation obviously isn't their strong suit, but I hope they don't get discouraged and keep trying. It's always good to see new studios in this neverending hell of only S1, fanservice, and CG. Should you watch Nazotokine? Probably not. (Notice me demo-senpai)
