A nearly identical plot with too many similar characters. Both stories are set in a game-like world where the characters are trying to survive. Both MC are moralless, maniac, and evil. In How to Use a Returner, MC is a little bit more devious and cunning, whereas in How to Live as a Villain, MC is more violent and doesn't shy away from using brute force to achieve his goals. Still, they're too similar, one can even say they're like brothers. If you liked one, possibly you're going to like the other too.

Both Isekai ✅ have very similar drawings ✅ have aesthetically very similar MC ✅ have erotic and suggestive moments ✅ In general, both gives comparable feelings and vibes.
The premise and overall plot are overly similar. In both mangas, the MC is cast aside by their previous group, only to later find their place in some other unworthy group. They become more successful and appreciated in their new team than in their previous one. Many teams regard both Mc's classes as buff-debuff centric and thus worthless. Go for it if you want to read some underdog stories.
Both MCs are OP and tries to live their lifes as ordinary as possible. There's a school/academy life. Both MCs are dense and has similar vibes, even similar builds. Both MCs has ties to shadow organizations.

Similar as they can. MC has a harem(in kekkon there's 5 girls and Harekon has 3 girls) MC struggles to balance their harem marriage.Trying to be a mediator. Girls sometimes fight with each other and as a classic harem trope trying to win over their husband attention. Date Modoka and Amber resemble each other. They are nearly same character and my favourite among girls. That's all actually.I must say although Hare-Kon has much more drama than Kekkon.
