Hi there! I'm Ozan Eren, and I'm thrilled to welcome you to my little corner of the internet. (Fun fact: my name translates literally to "Bard Eren" in English—though I keep "Eren" unchanged on purpose, to preserve its unique, original flavor.)

By day, I work full time as an English teacher—a role that keeps me busy and occasionally means I’m not as active online as I’d like to be. When I do have spare moments, though, I dive into my passions and hobbies with full enthusiasm.

-----My Journey with Anime and Manga-----

My love affair with anime began back in 2011. However, it wasn’t until 2021 that I started watching anime consistently and really immersing myself in the medium. My introduction to this vibrant world was marked by classics like Death Note and Code Geass. These series captivated me with their deep psychological themes, intricate plots, and mind games—a fascination that continues to shape my tastes today.

I tend to gravitate toward anime and manga that explore dark themes, suffering, drama, psychological conflicts, romance, and mystery. That said, my curiosity sometimes leads me to experiment with other genres. I do have a few strict boundaries, though—genres such as BL, Hentai, and GL are ones I consciously avoid.

One of my personal viewing habits is to steer clear of pre-formed opinions. I make it a point not to check scores, reviews, or online debates before experiencing a series myself. I prefer to judge each show or book based solely on its premise, visuals, and the emotions it evokes. My ratings and reviews are therefore a direct reflection of my own enjoyment and impressions, untainted by external influences.

-----Beyond the Screen-----

When I’m not lost in the worlds of anime and manga, I indulge in other hobbies that stimulate my mind and creativity:

- Video Games & Visual Novels: Whether it's the thrill of getting to know the story of single player games or the narrative depth of visual novels, gaming is a great way for me to relax and challenge myself.
- Board and Card Games: I enjoy the social and strategic aspects of board games, and I have a particular soft spot for card games like Yu-Gi-Oh!
- Reading: I’m a casual reader of psychology and self-improvement books, topics that not only enrich my personal life but also inform my teaching practice.
- Astrology: For fun, I sometimes dive into astrology. If you're curious, my Sun sign is Aquarius, my Moon sign is Capricorn, and my Ascendant is in Virgo.
