I just want to express my hatred for this series, mainly due to the approach of anime fans to it......
I myself am a fan of action and watching things that do not require much thought but Solo Leveling is simply bad even in this respect.
What does a good action need? definitely a good antagonist, something that we will not see in SL, every opponent in this anime is not important, each is a random, arrogant monster who is usually introduced and defeated in 1-3 episodes where during this time apart from the fight with MC he has no screen time and his characterization comes down
...
to being simply evil and strong, ok... one or two such opponents can be survived but are they all really like that? does watching the same thing over and over get boring for you?
Good/important secondary characters, this anime doesn't have a single character that would make the MC actually look cooler, the fact that the MC is the strongest doesn't make an impression because all the characters he's stronger than are hopeless, who cares about being stronger than an NPC who didn't have a single moment of glory?
Besides, I could survive watching the tenth situation in a row where ONLY the MC is "cool" and saves everyone, but I can't survive that this type of situation doesn't make an impression because the characters being saved are hopeless, the hopeless situations they find themselves in are not of concern to anyone, it's shown too bluntly that these characters are only here to be defeated and saved, that from the beginning it's the MC's fight and not the characters currently on screen.
The stakes? There is none, everything is predetermined, mainly due to the lack of an opponent who would give the impression of someone who could defeat the MC and it would make sense in the plot, no one will believe that a random and unimportant monster will win.
Maybe some emotional build-up that would make us really care about the outcome of the fight? Without good supporting characters, this is impossible, so SL fails again.
The only emotional thread that had potential was the MC's mother's thread, but it was ignored until her awakening, after which the MC's mother's character was again irrelevant... god, that was the only convincing motivation for MC, why couldn't the creators give some cliched flashbacks from time to time? or anything?
It's not worth wasting time listing the rest of the numerous flaws of this title because everyone knows them and for some reason accepts them.
The approach of SL viewers is simply to spit on any quality and say "we don't care about a good story, characters or really well-written action, only well-animated action and aura farming count"
Really, Solo Leveling makes Jjk and DS masterpieces in my eyes, the level of battle shounen posa is dropping more and more with each year, no standards are met except for good animation.
Finally, I'll say this... it's not shameful to like shit, it is shameful to consider shit as something good and rate it high xD
Normally I would give it 4/10 but this anime is too overrated so I give it...

🔵Winter 2025.
It was supposed to be another "hit" but something didn't work out, practically everything failed, the story is boring and bland, it's just an excuse for action that fails due to average animation.
How this anime went without much attention is so pathetic that it's sad, but oh well... maybe it's a good thing, the second anime this season that would be overrated because of spectacular action scenes, it's already too much.....
The plot... the killer retires and starts a family but one day his past reveals itself and he will have to face a horde of paid killers trying to kill him... that's it.
Only the
...
second part of the plot description is important, this series ignores half of its assumptions and focuses exclusively/mainly on action with supernatural elements and (not as much as you might expect) a comedy tone in a typical shounen formula that you've seen a million times in other series of this type.
Unfortunately, the action in this anime is just average in itself and the lack of a good story, characters and not using its own assumptions does not help it, and it could if more effort was put into writing this series.
This anime tells the story of a hitman who gave up his profession for his family, it is the central part of the story, but this anime ignores it, does not develop it and gives the impression that it could just as well be the story of an assassin who still actively works in his profession, has no family and spends his free time with friends from work.
This series is often compared to John Wick, but the assumptions of that film were even simpler than in this anime, so simple that the viewer did not feel that the rest of the story was omitted in favor of the action itself and it worked, the assumptions of Sakamoto Days are more developed after all, but for some reason this series forgets about it.
Family... It is the main motivation of the MC and it is bland, yes the wife and daughter of the MC are cute but they are also an irrelevant background, this anime does not build real family relationships, it wastes the chance to say something real, simple common truths about ordinary simple life, family, relationship or parenting in contrast to a life of crime, even though it has the opportunity to do so and the plot assumptions scream that it should look like this. The simplest fairy tales for children are able to convey some lesson and this anime has nothing even though family is one of the main elements of this series. Still focusing mainly on the action these things could be presented but this anime, in breaks from the action, decides to spend time on naive lessons like "do not kill under any circumstances" or "building relationships" with the MC's new friends who are also killers, they are also one of the most forced groups of friends I've seen in a battle shounen, strong bonds are built within a single episode which makes them come off unconvincing, this anime simply pretends that the characters have gone some way to becoming friends and does so only so that it can jump straight to the action.
Another thing that writes itself is the theme of the main character's transformation, but this anime again doesn't use it and makes Sakamoto simply boring and unbelievable, his path is I am a killer --> my wife asks me not to kill --> I don't kill and that's it (although this "not killing" is also presented here strangely and I don't know if it's the fault of the adaptation or the source material) seriously... that's all.
Despite being a legendary killer, Sakamoto doesn't stand out with anything except his strength and only serves as an empty action figure, although there is room in the plot for the theme of "killing for the greater good" generally even the simplest consideration of the reasonableness of the MC's rule about not killing would be a plus, but this anime decides to go the simplest route and not give the MC any real challenges apart from another characteristic but nevertheless boring opponent whom he defeats and returns to the starting point, and this opponent of course converts after being defeated by the MC and never returns to take revenge xD
As for "not killing", well... at some point the characters break the neck of the opponent but since the anime does not comment on it at any point it means that it is probably a shortcoming showing how much the creators do not care about their own assumptions xD
Someone may also say that it is just a loose comedy action so you can't expect anything more serious from it but despite being like that, it is also quite brutal at the same time, we see a lot of blood, images of quartered people and generally the mystery behind the killers' garbage seems to be something darker and more serious, combined with the fact that this anime is most of the time at the level of a children's fairy tale in terms of tone and complexity, it simply seems inconsistent but these more serious things that still exist in this series also give the impression that this series could have allowed itself to do more but did not and it works to its disadvantage.
It's time for action and well... the animation is simply average.
You can simply see that the movement of the characters is often slow, often even this movement is not really there, for example when the MC delivers a powerful punch.
We will not find in this anime really good and spectacular action sequences straight from jjk or praised in the context of choreography (at least in the first episodes) Ninja Kamui, it is simply not enough for a series that has nothing but these action scenes, that is why this anime is such a failure and everyone from fans of the original to new viewers are disappointed.
As for writing the action... there are a lot of stupid things like "not hitting the protagonists who just run forward and do not even try to avoid bullets"
or much more serious things like the world in which this action takes place.
This anime does not bother with logic and credibility, the strangest, most destructive things can happen in the middle of the city but the world will not react to it anyway, seeing that this anime does not go into total absurdity after all, such a lack of a functioning world is irritating.
I could also list the advantages of this anime but they are not important enough to change anything in particular so well....

Wow! anime about normal doctors working in a hospital!...unfortunately not, if you are looking for such an anime you will not find it here, just like if you have heard comparisons with House MD then NO this is completely different and in a bad sense of the word, it is a complete disappointment, even though I did not expect much........
This anime tells about an eccentric and brilliant doctor who cures people with various ailments...no, this is an anime about a loli mary sue who is actually a detective and the doctors and hospital are just an insignificant background.
Ok, the fact that it turns
...
out to be more of a detective anime is not bad in itself, except that it wastes the opportunity to do something more unique in the world of anime, because from what I know, there has never been an anime about normal (by anime standards) doctors working in a hospital, it could have been a flesh and blood medical series like Dr. Housem but unfortunately, it is a detective anime which as I said is not bad in itself, it is just that it is a hopeless detective anime that cannot provide an engaging story and the characters are shallow as a puddle and practically non-existent apart from the loli MC, just awful and once again awful.
Plot:
This anime is all about puzzles, nothing else, these puzzles are solved in a schematic way and you can often forget that this anime has anything to do with a hospital because everything happens mostly outside of it.
At first it might seem that it will be a more episodic series, however there are also very long plots lasting several episodes, it doesn't matter, long and short plots are equally hopeless, it all comes down to the fact that our brilliant doctor guides us through the entire episode, literally explains everything one by one, always knows where to go and of course she is always right, she doesn't fall into any dead ends, sometimes she simply lacks one key piece of information and we just have to wait for it.
On the one hand, the puzzles are simple and the viewer may be surprised how on earth no one except the brilliant loli could solve them, on the other hand, the puzzles are a mass of random, meaningless information where the viewer has no way of drawing any certain conclusions, however, the MC is always able to determine the exact course of events based on this trace amount of information and, as standard, tells us exactly about it at the end, it is simply completely unsatisfying.
But the biggest problem is that these puzzles are completely unengaging, they are just dry information/facts without any interesting plot where random things don't just happen, there is also a lack of history of some characters from the beginning to the end, it doesn't matter to our heroes either and they don't develop in this, this series does nothing to make us want to know the solution to the puzzle at all because this puzzle doesn't matter and doesn't engage emotionally, in a word BORING.
Besides that:
This anime, instead of starting with something light, immediately gives us some ultra fancy and unrealistic crap, so in order to keep your attention it will have to move to even more absurd scenarios, Dr. House (from what I know) started with light things and slowly entered more fancy areas to keep your attention, here we immediately get exaggerated events and this anime doesn't have much way to "develop" and these exaggerated scenarios will quickly get boring (I'm honestly already bored with them) but of course they don't have to.
Characters:
As for the episodic characters...usually these types of series give some kind of plot to the characters involved in the mystery, while learning the details of the case we also learn about the characters and their personal plots, often these plots can be an explanation of the perpetrator's motive or something like that but the most important function of this is to engage the viewer in the mystery, you genuinely want to know its solution because you care about the characters involved, here there is none of that, ok we know something about the characters but once again it is dry information, zero real plot carried out sensibly from beginning to end, the characters are simply a boring and empty element of the mystery.
Episodic characters are useless so maybe the main cast has something in them? NO.
Again, usually these types of series have longer plots stretched e.g. over the entire season, which concern the main characters and have nothing to do with the mystery of the week but in this series there is none of that, really, nothing happens with the characters apart from the puzzles, it is simply the height of shit and lazy writing.
In fact, the only characters who have any dynamics are MC and her sidekick, the rest are non-existent, not worth mentioning and looking at how this series looks in the first 6 episodes, it won't change.
MC and her sidekick, despite getting something, are still hopeless, just like the rest, they have nothing but mysteries and we don't know anything about them, no personal threads and zero information about their past or who they are outside of work, just a void, 6 episodes (half of the season) and one big NOTHING.
Sometimes they are saved by a quite funny dynamic and apart from that they are just cardboard, really, I haven't seen something so shallow in a long time.
So yeah....
Anime that was supposed to be medical turned out to be detective and characters that were supposed to be doctors turned out to be some kind of super heroes, I understand that doctors could help the police but they literally confront dangerous criminals themselves without waiting for the police, a lot of strange things happen to them, they are often in danger and it does not affect them in any way, literally as if they were fucking Marvel super heroes for whom it is just a normal day.
I will quote one scene and WARNING, this anime takes itself seriously after all:
MC's sidekick like a super hero, saves her from a burning building and then gets trapped in the flames, then MC takes a motorbike and breaks through the flames returns to save his sidekick, then they stand calmly between the flames (regardless of the poisonous smoke) and talk to the perpetrator of this arson... yes, this is an anime about doctors or detectives XD just like Fast and Furious 10 is a movie about car racing.
Finally:
Plus for the lack of censorship, they showed the severed leg in great detail.
To sum up:
Short because this review is too long...it's not worth watching, it's just a terrible anime and I'll only finish it because I want to expand my anime list XD

There was Blue Lock, Blue Bird, Grand Blue, Perfect Blue, Blue Archive and now it's time for Blue Box xD
I had quite high expectations for this anime, I generally don't like romances but I was ready to appreciate this anime because it seemed to me that it would be something really special and well... I was a little disappointed but it's not bad.........
So... a bit of a typical, shy boy falls in love with the most popular (thanks to playing basketball) and prettiest girl in school, of course she is single and no one else hits on her (despite her popularity) and everything works
...
out perfectly for this relationship to blossom, plus they even live together! simply the perfect situation BUT the main character got it into his head that he must first achieve something in sports to be "worthy" of a relationship with this girl so he won't confess his feelings to her... it sounds a bit trite but thanks to realistic/natural characters and their relationships, this anime is quite good.
Overall this anime is a combination of romance and sports genres, it seems quite unique, of course the vast majority of the time is about romance, there is not much comedy and especially drama, this anime tries to be just a "regular" wholesome and sappy school SoL, sometimes this anime baits with scenes that are supposed to suggest that the atmosphere will thicken and we will get some drama but in the end in the blink of an eye everything ends positively and the characters can still continue their lovely interactions with each other so yeah... it is definitely not an anime for people who are looking for something more engaging plot-wise, despite plots like the second girl in a threesome that are supposed to introduce some confusion, this anime is more for chilling, you just watch cute and nice characters who focus on their dreams and emotions and their biggest problems are small teenage misunderstandings and insecurities that are solved very quickly plus of course failures in sports. The development of the main couple's relationship comes naturally, even though every misunderstanding and every obstacle that appears in MC's path disappears in the same episode "oh someone's hitting on my chosen one" no, it just turns out that she was only helping this guy with something, so yeah... their relationship has almost no obstacles, it just exists and through everyday coexistence it gets closer until the moment when MC finally decides to confess his feelings, as I said it's quite realistic.
As for the sports part of this anime, it is much worse than the romance, I would never recommend this anime to sports fans, sports are mainly a background, yes... we see a lot of scenes where characters talk about sports and train but despite everything it is not engaging enough, as I said the characters talk a lot but the training scenes are just short fragments that hardly show the thought processes of the characters or what they are really learning, the characters are constantly motivating themselves but we do not see their hard work, equally important matches, pass in a few minutes and are shown haphazardly, the viewer cannot get emotionally involved in something that takes up quite a large part of this anime, sports and the dreams of the characters that concern them are completely uninteresting, if you want something similar to Haikyu! where you are 100% involved, rooting for the characters and sitting in suspense throughout the match and then at the end depending on the result, really happy or crying, you will not find it here. The animation, apart from the crowd CGI, was very good, it's just a shame they didn't put more of it in the match scenes, the camera was mostly pointed at the audience and all we heard was the sounds of the game.
To sum it up, it's really not a bad romance anime that suffers a bit from not properly utilizing the sports part that makes this anime seem more special at first glance, but it's still good, especially if you don't like overdramatization and just want to watch a nice, emotional school romance with likeable characters.

🟠Fall 2024
A twenty-episode, retcon series with a lot of filler that brings nothing?...ah, a new DB series.
I knew from the beginning that this series would be a failure and my predictions came true.
- The antagonists are bland, the main antagonist is Pilaf 2.0 but even worse, he has no charisma or agency, he only arouses pity, as well as his assistant who was created to be someone more but turned out to be just...nothing.
The only light at the end of the tunnel is Arinsu but it doesn't save this complete hopelessness.
- A lot of "references" that are copy-paste things from previous series and only work
...
as cheap nostalgia bait.
- The humor is subjective but the fart jokes...well, to each his own.
- Power scaling is worse than ever and additionally it has an impact on the plot, mainly effectively slowing it down in an annoying way, because yes... at one point our heroes defeat super strong and previously undefeated robots in the demon world, and at the next they lose/have problems with the soldiers of the main antagonist? Ok.
- Demon designs are boring and too simple, they are so lazy that every representative of one race looks identical and does not stand out with a single detail xD
- The plot is ultra boring, the series forces the heroes to explore the world by force but this exploration comes down to fighting boring monsters, most of the time nothing interesting happens, it is indistinguishable from ordinary filler, it brings nothing and nothing would change without it, it is simply an ordinary and annoying extension of the series.
- Plot-wise this anime does nothing, so maybe there are at least some cool fights? NO, there are maybe 2 good fights in 16 episodes, the rest is beating up boring mobs.
This series probably contains many more mistakes, probably mainly in terms of consistency with what came before and what will happen in DBS but I'll leave that to some lore masters who remember all these things xD
To sum up, DB Daima is a failure, it's not worth watching if you're not a die-hard DB fan.
3/10

🟠Fall 2024
Dandadan, probably the most popular anime in 2024, does it meet expectations and does it deserve all the hype it had when it was broadcast?......
In this story we actually follow two protagonists, one believes in aliens but does not believe in ghosts, the other the other way around, believes in ghosts but does not believe in aliens, both want to prove to themselves that what they believe in exists and eventually it turns out that both exist, then one of the protagonists is cursed and gets cool transformations, the plot from now on will consist of striving to remove the curse and fighting various
...
monsters and in between we will get something in the style of a school romcom.
Well... The plot is quite generic, as standard we have teenagers with powers who fight monsters but here this anime does not take it all 100% seriously, the plot is deliberately fast/chaotic and although it often does not work very well, it gives a bit of a sense of freshness.
BUT...still, we've already had demons, curses and kaiju, it's time for aliens and ghosts, although unlike others there are two types of monsters here, what does it matter? plot-wise yes, for the viewer ultimately not so much, in this and that case we're simply fighting fancy creatures, although the fact is hanging in the air that aliens are the main threat, they come from another world and want to invade Earth (of course not all of them) and ghosts were once people and after all their existence in this world works to the benefit of humanity.
So yes, we have a typical world filled with monsters that need to be defeated, these monsters often have some cliched sad backstory but despite everything it is presented a bit differently and more interestingly, in theory there are more possibilities here and it has greater potential than other series of this type.
Back to not taking itself 100% seriously and intentional chaos...
This anime seems to be a bit of a parody of other battle shounen series that involve fighting monsters, the antagonists are mostly not portrayed seriously, the things they say and do even though they are evil/cruel are more laughable, the cool transformation of the MC (where the MC suddenly starts acting like an emo) is also comically exaggerated, thanks to which we don't roll our eyes when we see the same motif again, plus unlike other anime, this transformation doesn't make the MC OP, he still needs a second protagonist and doesn't do everything himself.
But not taking himself seriously in this anime is not always a plus, sometimes some of the tricks are really annoying, it's often the case that we get a scene where Okarun suddenly says something emotional and serious only to suddenly forcibly reverse expectations and make a loud comedy out of it, after a while it was just tiring.
However, the balance between goofy comedy and something serious was quite good.
Overall, the pace may be too fast for many, as I said this anime wants to be fast and weird but in this formula not everything has the opportunity to resonate properly, it is hard to get emotionally involved, and in general getting involved in this anime is made more difficult by the fact that it is really an anime "about nothing" the goal is to get the MC's eggs back but the plot boils down to random fights with monsters and a fairly predictable/boring romance between the protagonists (where both got along as if they were close friends from the very beginning which makes the romance a bit shallow) even though this anime has a goal, it does not seem important, things happen and you really don't know where it is all going.
Characters...
They are definitely funny and charismatic, it's really cool to follow their interactions but there is probably a big problem with the main characters, for the first 12 episodes this anime wasted time on a lot of pointless things but it devoted enough of it to deepening the characters.
The characters don't really have any interesting past, it's more about the here and now, we know why Momo and Ken believe in aliens and ghosts which is the most important thing we need to know but it seems to have been neglected, we know it but it didn't develop a bigger story of the characters and it seems that there are no future threads for these characters, these characters just are.
We didn't even see where Ken lives and what his family is like, we mostly focus on the usual romance of the main couple and we don't show their history in depth.
World building...
It has some cool elements but then again, this anime wastes time on pointless action that doesn't result in much but not on deepening the world, in these 12 episodes we should learn a lot more about the world, e.g. in a world full of dangerous spirits, are there no other people with powers apart from Momo's grandmother? It gives the feeling that the world is not alive and nothing apart from the main characters is important in it.
It seemed that I complain more but overall I liked this anime, it was rather time well spent even though I stopped thinking about this anime immediately after the end of the last episode and only returned to it for a moment in my thoughts just to write this review haha
The most important anime of 2024 but for me it's just "watch it and forget it"

Recently I started to notice that the One Piece fandom has become really toxic and likes to compare/attack other anime, claiming that "One Piece is the best anime" and I honestly don't understand it.
The pacing alone disqualifies this anime from competing for the title of "best" not to mention the rest of the problems this anime has.
I don't read the manga, it probably doesn't have such big problems with pacing as the anime but never mind... I haven't read it, I won't comment, I mean the ANIME which is far from what One Piece fans think about it...
Let's start with the ultra awful pacing... it's
...
best illustrated by comparison to Jojo (a manga that has a similar number of total pages as Ona Piece) out of 80 volumes of the manga there are 190 episodes of Jojo (parts 1-5) and ATTENTION... as many as 755 episodes of One Piece, this series is so stretched and doesn't compensate for it with anything.
The One Piece anime, trying to prevent it from catching up with the source material (as other long series try to do), does the worst thing possible.
Other similar series prevent this with filler episodes, One Piece stretches/dilutes the original plot to the limits of its possibilities, drastically reducing its value, in the case of other series, episodes that are not part of the main plot could be easily skipped, in the case of One Piece there is no such possibility because the filler is written into the episode, it's just a tragedy.
But OK, this anime has terrible pacing but is the plot really good anyway? No, it's average and ultra formulaic.
This anime had the potential to be a really good adventure anime, 1000 episodes give the opportunity to tell about really many adventures of our heroes, however (also touching on the pace) we are trapped for several hundred episodes in one place and once again, most of it is not compensated by anything special.
Because yes, most of the arcs (apart from the mass of pointless, boring and too long plots in between) look almost identical, the schematic nature of this anime is terrifying:
The crew arrives on a new island -> Luffy meets new friends who are terrorized by a bad guy -> Luffy and the rest split up, Luffy runs to the boss and the rest beat up the minions -> Luffy fights the boss as always and Zoro and Sanji fight the vice captains, there are some exceptions but overall it looks the same, without any surprises.
The fact that the characters always run somewhere for almost half of each arc is already a meme.
I'm not saying that the plot is tragic, it has a lot of good moments but it's still far from very good.
Moving on...
"Dragonballization" from the beginning of the Wano arc, this anime decided to start moving towards Dragon Ball, when previously the fights of the most popular characters in this universe looked good but still mundane, in the Wano Arc suddenly the power scale skyrocketed, they started introducing various colorful auras and a lot of different exaggerated effects, it introduces a huge inconsistency compared to the rest of the anime.
It seems like One Piece is losing its entire atmosphere in favor of the exaggerated efficiency we see in today's shounen, but they have been like that from the beginning and do not seem inconsistent like One Piece, which started introducing all this crap relatively recently.
One Piece lost a bit of "it" after the time skip, it seems like the character interactions became less natural, more forced and there are fewer of them in general due to more frequent character separation, some characters lost their character and meaning, Usopp and Chpper were mostly reduced to boring comic relief.
Luffy (MC) well... his lack of development hurts me, the lack of development itself is not a bad thing BUT when the plot hits the hero with a traumatic event that screams "you idiot, you have to learn from this" and he gets up and moves forward without a moment's hesitation... it's stupid and makes this dramatic and important event irrelevant.
Luffy lost his entire crew due to his own stupidity (he was convinced of it) and what does he do in the rest of the story? he repeats the same mistake without a moment's reflection and provokes the emperor without any real preparation, stupid characters are cool and funny until their stupidity is simply annoying and gives the feeling that the character is completely empty. Additionally, for the vast majority of the time, Luffy stood out because unlike other anime of this type, he does not have hidden powers, he motivated by the fact that with seemingly weak powers, thanks to his willpower, he was able to pursue his goal, cliché? Yes, it works? Yes, but the author decided to surprise everyone and make Luffy a divine chosen one with divine powers and all this in the name of what? The "symbol of freedom" narrative does not compensate for this because Luffy is ultimately no different in this respect from the rest of the typical shounen MC.
Yes, Luffy is a "symbol of freedom" even though he doesn't see himself as such, but in the end it seems like he's just an idiot and does whatever he wants, the fact that he frees the oppressed doesn't matter because he only does it when his friends are imprisoned, his perspective is limited and if he doesn't see that someone has a problem he won't help them, he won't stop the world government which is a symbol of oppression xD but still, being a "symbol of freedom" doesn't require being a divine chosen one at the same time, what's the value of all that determination Luffy has and everything he's been through so far? if at the end, when the ceiling was too high, the author came up with an ultra big plot twist and gave MC divine powers is completely uninspiring and contradicts what we've seen in most of One Piece.
All that I wrote above is not everything, there would definitely be something more, but I didn't sit with a notebook in my hand while watching this anime and I don't remember everything, so well....
Before the time skip-8/10
The whole thing-6/10

It's been over a year since I watched it and I still... think the path this anime went down is wrong.
I won't rewatch it and I'll just trust my memory.
This won't be a review either, I'll just write a few things that were really awful to me.
Not to mention the huge drop in production quality that despite most of the fandom coping, was objectively quite big, it killed a lot of the epic scenes that all manga readers were waiting for and no amount of thinking that the animators did everything they could will change that.
I loved this anime up until the rumbling started but

almost everything that happened after was just a disappointment, although at the time I watched it I didn't think it was that bad, but in retrospect I see/think that Isayama had absolutely no idea what would happen after the rumbling started.
Attack on Titan was often compared to titles like Game of Thrones, people praised the brutal world and the fact that "no character was safe" and you can agree with that, unfortunately now these comparisons go even further and Aot, like GoT, loses all its atmosphere and gives its characters who are loved by fans, a huge plot armor (yes, Hanji had her senseless sacrifice but still..) Levi lives only because he is the most popular character in this anime, we stop having the feeling that the characters are real people, we only see "chosen ones" like superheroes from Avengers, I'm not saying that the desire to save the world = Avengers but a small group of these wonderful and unique characters who, accompanied by plot armor, go to save the world and manage to defeat the fucking "God" gives me some Avengers vibes. But before that, these "good chosen ones" have to slaughter their old comrades, ok it seems to add something and show that it's not that easy and these heroic saving the world will require getting your hands dirty but the way it was presented in the anime is pure comedy, as if Mikasa ran a sword through a young boy which was enough to kill him BUT... additionally she had to blow up their corpses just to look "cool" in the rain of their blood XDD
Overall the final battle made the world building really disappointing, even though we skipped the island the world didn't end up being that much bigger, what do I mean? is all the world has to offer against Rumbling a few airships? and ships? is that all the world has to offer even though they were terrified of Rumbling? Everything that led to the final battle and how it looked was simply too simple/straightforward, there were no plot lines that would make the finale believable and diversify how our heroes simply chase after Rumbling, I think that the Tybura family plot was wasted and could have enriched the final battle, the family that feared Rumbling the most could have had some knowledge about the weakness of the founding titan, some secret special forces that would be prepared to repel the march of colossal BUT we got some shit with dropping explosive barrels from airships, which of course failed and everything rested on the shoulders of our chosen group who forgot about the previous seasons and do not know that gas, blades, lightning spears and titan energy, are ending, if Isayama had time and planned the final battle better, he could have supported our heroes with some army, this army could have been armed with experimental special weapons that could have been somehow mentioned earlier by Magatha who was close to Tybur, our heroes could refill gas and everything else on airships and Falco could rest until the last flight to Eren, so that the fact that he has been in titan form for so long despite only his second transformation, would not seem so stupid, Isayama had a lot of room to show off to make the whole finale more logical, so that all the previously established rules were respected BUT NO... we literally got crap in the style of Avengers where everything, everyone happily succeeded, the whole fight with those titans summoned by Ymir was a festival of weak writing.
Eren...yes, everyone knew that he cared about his friends and everything was just a "game" it wouldn't be a big surprise so what did Isayama do? he did something that no one really expected, no one had the right to expect xD he literally canceled the entire fucking development of Eren, a character that everyone (almost) praised for developing in season 4, a character who became really radical in his actions and everyone was able to deeply understand why he was like that, even those who didn't like him BUT *PLOT TWIST* Eren is the same idiot as in the first season and doesn't know what he's doing... why? no one expected him to be just a cold "Sigma" I expected him to finally crack and show emotions but I didn't expect that his whole "New Character" is just "acting" xDDD this is probably the most important disappointment in history!!
Additionally, his pseudo romance with Mikasa... or "romance" that was just a meme for season 1-3 and no one NOBODY took it seriously and in the fourth season they only got a few scenes of something that can be perceived as the real construction of their relationship, can it be the most important element of the finale? there's nothing more pathetic than Eren going from being completely indifferent romantically towards Mikasa for 90% of the anime to someone so desperately in love, really those few sad looks Eren gives Mikasa don't build it up enough.
Plus that idiotic vision of Mikasa at the end...I don't remember what it was exactly (I hope it was just a false illusion and not an alternate reality)
Was our asshole, infinitely in love with Mikasa, Eren, able to leave his people/other friends and run away with Mikasa? Someone will say "oh just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's bad" IT'S BAD...it's a complete denial of Eren's nature and character and all in the name of this hopelessly written romance, in the entire anime there's probably only one dialogue between them that shows that they have any real chemistry and it doesn't work only on the principle that Mikasa has a comical obsession with Eren XD Mikasa's character in general, if she had something in her than love for Eren and wasn't a literal Pikachu who instead of "pika" says "Eren" then maybe I would be able to take it seriously and it wouldn't seem like a forced comedy.
I don't want to write anymore...

For me, this anime is simply the definition of guilty pleasure and I will not recommend it because objectively it is shit.
This anime seemed ultra exaggerated most of the time but at the same time quite realistic in its whole toxicity festival, but in the end it turned out to be just edgy shit, for the sake of being edgy shit xD
Despite everything it was quite interesting from a certain point, mainly because it was simply pleasant to be irritated by the stupidity of the characters who, as I said, are quite realistic, in the sense that it is easy to imagine that teenagers can
...
behave in such an irrational way, but despite everything (not even counting the finale) I couldn't take these exaggerated idiocies seriously, it's just that every character in this anime was written to be the worst or most disturbed person in the world and none of them (apart from Katsura up to a certain point) could be rooted for, was it really impossible to make one normal character who would think logically and be a counterbalance to all this irrational shit?
The funniest thing about this anime is the fact that the MC, who is just an "ordinary guy" and is distinguished only by extreme idiocy and thinking with a penis, is some kind of magnet for girls who are obsessively in love with him for no reason at all, it's so stupid and unbelievable, he doesn't even try, he doesn't manipulate or anything, he just is and all the girls fall for him and literally kill for him, which makes it all seem like some loser's fantasy, although looking at the ending, I'm not sure if anyone could fantasize about something like that.
Katsura seemed like the best character and you could even root for her, understand why she wants to be with this idiot but from a certain point she just became a typical boring yandere, did some guy piss me off? oh well, I have to see the MC xD Katsura's whole storyline was ultimately ultra shallow and forced edgy, which made it simply boring and imo it had the potential to be something better.
In general, all the female characters in this anime really only serve as MC's sex doll and they don't really exist outside of the MC so well... people who claim that the characters in this anime are somehow particularly complex (I've seen people like that) are funny xD
Besides, I find it funny that adults don't exist in this anime and such stupid things as a school festival where students have a special room to "fuck" can exist xD
Imo 4/10 because at least it stands out from all the school romances I've watched so far.

This won't be a full review but this movie was such a waste of excellent animation and a great soundtrack that I just have to write why this movie is MID.
The plot seems to be based on the Little Mermaid motif combined with a strange world where Tokyo has been locked in a huge bubble with a different gravity inside and the outcasts who stayed there take part in "parkour races"
Leaving aside the unconvincing romance that refers to the little mermaid, the basis of the whole story makes no sense at all, the plot is built on stupidity that makes it impossible to take this
...
story seriously.
In the beginning...
They meet a girl who acts like a retard, she hasn't said a word and no one has thought about who she is and they don't ask any reasonable questions, no one has tried to talk to her and they accept the fact that she acts like an animal, especially a scientist who is a fucking SCIENTIST. This scientist is an adult, she wouldn't think that someone might be looking for this girl and she didn't report it anywhere, everyone just wants to include her in the team right away XDD and the only doubts about it are only one boy but he's simply jealous of her, although his jealousy or something didn't matter in the end and disappeared as quickly as it appeared.
Besides
The strangest anomaly in the world, some strange red thing floating in the air...and only one scientist who investigates it further and is there, besides literally no one was assigned to protect her from above even though the city is full of "outcasts" and she has expensive equipment for research XDD it should be a phenomenon and the most guarded and researched area in the world, something more should take place around it and not serve as a playground for children, would such governments of the world allow this?
The action in this anime makes no sense...
These parkours make no sense, the only goal is to capture the flag, the antagonists have special equipment that gives them a big advantage and they could quickly fly to the flag, but they prefer to use some strange complicated strategies and even when they succeeded and our heroes stood still because they were trapped, the antagonists did not capture this stupid flag at that time and probably also stood still for some reason XDD
I don't want to talk about this anime, I could elaborate on the fact that the plot is predictable, boring exposition, flat characters and mostly really meaningless despite this, this anime gives them some big moments from the ass, that the plot of the blue-haired girl who is a "copy of the little mermaid" is completely unengaging because unlike the little mermaid, we didn't see her previous life and we don't buy her addition at all that she "is finally herself" blah blah the ending is of course the standard boring ray into space (that weird red thing) like in Avengers and characters who forget about the instinct of self-preservation, go to risk their lives for a girl they knew very briefly, all without exception in the name of the ult anticlimactic power of friendship (I probably forgot something and there is more)
I could expand on all this, maybe add some pluses apart from the animation and soundtrack but as I said, this movie is so boring and unengaging that it's a waste of time.
I'll give it one plus...
These perfidious ads for Coca-Cola, Fanta and something else were pretty funny XDD
