This is a particularly challenging series to rate. Nisemonogatari has the signature art, sound, humorof its predecessor. The introduction of the first episode is extremely strong with hilarious signature interaction between Araragi and Senjougahara. Then comes the gradual decent into fanservice.
The prequel Bakemonogatari was a very enjoyable series and, in all fairness, did contain a fair bit of fanservice. At some points the fanservice even teetered towards particularly distasteful. However most of the time it was fairly innocent or more often than not was used only to the extent that it legitimately supported a joke that was actually funny. I can personally tolerate fanservice even

though I do not see the need for it - as such I did not let it bother me in the prequel to this series.
However in Nisemonogatari it is elevated to excess. While there is nothing particularly graphic there are entire episodes devoted to sexual innuendo, somewhat visual paedophillic insinuations as well as incest. Furthermore it is rarely used to support a joke, if anything weak jokes are used in what appears to be the author's attempt to cover up his warped (and illegal) sexual preferences. The issue goes beyond the inclusion of too much fanservice. The series is in fact dominated by it to the detriment of the story, humor and characters.
That being said if you don't mind the occasional naked 8 year old being thrown in your face as well as the main character's personality being butchered (which is ignored as if it never happens) and a frequent lack of story progress you may be able to enjoy this series. I wanted to, but could not.
