I was excited to find out that Hayate no Gotoku had a second season to follow the first. The first season's story, humor, character, and art caught my attention greatly. The original plot of Hayate no Gotoku had to do with a young (and cursed with bad luck) boy who ends up on the streets after his parents sold him to "generous" people but is luckily taken in by a rich girl, Nagi. He, in gratitude, risks everything for her and protects her as her butler. The first season followed that plot and was very enjoyable.
What happened
...
then? The second season of Hayate no Gotoku started off great. For the first 8 episodes, I was entertained. Then, it ran off track. For the rest of the season, we no longer focused on the butler who would protect his mistress due to gratitude. It felt as if the original plot was laid aside as a supporting idea. Instead of focusing on the life of the butler and his mistress, the anime focused on the normal life of an unlucky boy who everybody falls for. Nagi rarely appeared in the episodes and instead, Hinagiku replaced her. The plot had been sidetracked, turning it into a melodramatic love story between two teenagers. I didn't like how the plot jumped around, there for earning itself a 5.
There is not much I can say about the art. The characters are all drawn well. However, I do believe that the colors are to dark; too dull. Perhaps, the colors should be lighter. Spoiler: That is not much of a problem since it is resolved in the third season of Hayate no Gotoku. The sounds, too, are okay.
For each character, they have a specific personality. Nobody has the exact same personality and this anime shows that. A major problem with many anime these days is that their characters all have similar traits. Hayate no Gotoku made each person unique and I like that. However, at times, the lines are repeated too much.
I can't say I didn't enjoy the second season. I laughed, I felt pity, I was sympathetic towards the characters, and most of all: I had fun. Hayate no Gotoku makes you feel as if the characters are real and are by your side. I felt that some things in the anime didn't belong, but otherwise, I really enjoyed it. Despite the poor story, I believe that the second season was really worth watching.

To be honest, the second season disappointed me truly. As for those who have seen the first season, I must say that it was better. There was at the very least an actual story line to it. The story was indeed a disappointment. WARNING: SPOILER FOR SEASON 1 AHEAD. In season 1, there was that thrilling plot throughout the anime how Leo-sama sees the future with Millhi and Biscotti's hero dead. Towards the end, the action was very satisfying. For season 2, however, the story seems to me as if it was done on a whim.
The
...
art I like. It has neon colors. The characters are all created very nicely. The sound was satisfying as well. Unlike other anime, Dog Days have voice actresses that have very different voice. In many anime, it is very common for two characters to sound exactly alike.
Character--that was a disappointment, too. I cannot help but feel that each characters' personalities are all alike. Take Cou, Rebecca, and Millhi for example. Their personalities seem the same to me and that makes me wonder, "What makes each of them unique and different?" It makes me feel that the creators are using one personality and splitting it into three characters.
I would say I enjoyed it, but again, I preferred season one over this season. The episodes go on and on about the daily lives the heroes have there. However, what is the point? What is the main idea of the anime? I did not expect for Dog Days to be like the customary every day journal entry. I would have wanted some thrill in it, like it had in the first season. Overall, I would rate it a 7, though I am slightly reconsidering the score to a 6.

At first, by seeing the picture and summary, I thought that this was the typical anime where characters fall in love and have the primary relationship problems. But I was surprised to find myself wrong.
Yes, there is love, but this anime focuses on more than just love and high school life. It focuses on life itself. The characters' ways of thinking about life makes you wonder what life is really about and the reason why different things happen. It shows that the world itself is complicated and may have many secrets. After watching this anime, I became

pretty "life obsessed" and never saw the world as I did before. Clannad shows the many troubling life factors in the world and that falling in love has more complications than it sounds.
The art is really beautiful. I loved the way that all the characters looked, making them different, but the same. And the sounds! The sounds (music and voices) were really wonderful. Clanand's music really gives off a soft, warm kind of feeling. The opening and closing songs were really touching and sweet.
The characters were all different and I liked that. It showed that everyone has their own problems and that it wasn't only one person who suffered. I won't give any spoilers, but most of the character's lives were really sad.
Overall, I really enjoyed Clannad. It taught about life and its complications and mysteries that we may never solve. Clannad was tragic and funny so that it didn't just give off a single feeling but multiple feelings. It really deserved the 10.

Though the series has barely just begun, I really enjoyed the first season of Yuru Yuri. The story was just random, making it comical for the viewers unlike other anime where there are always problems. It shows the daily lives of regular middle school girls with some funny situations. I must say that the art is indeed better than most other anime in my opinion and the sound makes it sound cute. Each character has their own personalities, making everyone different. Akarin, for example, is a bit withdrawn but tries to stand out and does her best, making the best out

of her day. Kyoko is very outgoing and energetic. She makes the group's lives an adventure everyday. Meanwhile, Yui would be the mature type of the group to make sure that they stay out of trouble, mostly referring to Kyoko. Chinatsu is like the extra glue that would tie the entire group together, making even more funny situations with her imaginations of her and Yui. Yuru Yuri is really funny and overall, I think it deserves a perfect 10.
