Both mc are famous for being the weakest yet the strongest of all (you'll get it once you read them) that come from good and throughly known families. Also, both female mc are (conceited) princesses from noble families and the top students of the academy that want to become the best/strongest. Finally, both manga start by having the the two main characters being challenged (by the girls) into a duel. And of course the're both very interesting! ^_^

Both anime take place at a different time from what we've known so far, with super developed technology and many robot(like) machines. They also both involve super powers that are owned by "kings".There is an inevitable war-like fight between the two sides despite the fact that they are (or used to be) friends. The aspect in both anime is very alike, even the colors. Both manga involve sci-fi and drama, are very exciting and thrilling but at the same time very touching. I strongly recommend both anime. They are most definitely worth watching.

Both manga contain 4 different one shots all revolving around pure hearted and very sweet & cute love. They are funny, moving and touching at same time - to the point one might also cry. (I personally cried in the 2nd chapter of both manga - too many feels) You should definitely try them out! Hope you enjoy them just as much as I did ^_^

Both series are directed by Akiyuki Shinbou and have the same art. They both are confusing and mysterious at first and don't make much sense (especially at the beggining). Finally, they both have the same sense of humour (the kind-of-lame yet fuuny jokes).

Both manga talk about a school related to sex. They're very similar, yet they're the exact opposite. In Kunshu no ai wa Yoru ni Hana saku, the school stricktly forbids students to have sex, whereas in Ai to Yokubou wa Gakuen de, the school exists for the sole purpose of preparing those who are going to "sell sex" in the future...

If you liked Houkago x Ponytail add

When I read Lip Smoke it really reminded me of Houkago x Ponytail since they are so simiral. In both manga: -the female protagonist is a high school girl -the male protaginst is a writer -the female protaginists become their assistants -both girls fall for them -they both have to face many obstacles -both males are a little perveted (P.S. this was my first recommendation, please be a little forgiving! >.< I hope I helped you! )
