Which season of walking dead are you in rn? Isn't it infamous for getting worse with each season?
I've not read much but I think so far, that would be East of Eden by John Steinbeck :D
I guess it depends on the TV Show tbh. I've found some 20m anime episode harder to finish than a 50m TV Show episode. GOT and BB quickly made me invested in the shows, especially GOT since it's first season is one of the best seasons ever. BB kinda had a slower start but unlike GOT it got better and better with each season.
Haven't seen the last season of Stranger Things yet, which is weird because I used to be a really huge fan of the show back in the day. Now, not so much :/
Haven't seen Walking Dead yet.
Nope, but Crime and Punishment or Brothers Karamazov was the next book I was planning on reading after finishing The First Law series. Probably Crime and Punishment first since Brothers Karamazov is said to be much longer and complex.
How's the monster anime compared to the manga? I've only seen the anime but the pacing felt kinda slow. I guess the manga doesn't have any such issues.
Anime: I've been watching quite a few but Vinland Saga is pretty much the only great one so far. The last part of the latest episode of Dr. Stone also got me really hyped up.
Manga: Dorohedoro, which is kind of like Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man but far better in my opinion.
TV Show: The Last Kingdom, currently in the second season. It's a Vikings vs Saxons show and so far really good. Might even be better than Vikings TV show which I'm a huge fan of in the subsequent seasons.
Book: Before They Are Hanged - Joe Abercrombie, it's the second book in the First Law trilogy. It's kind of like Game of Thrones if you've seen it. I'm a huge fan of GOT so I instantly fell in love with this book series.
Glad to meet you.
Did you start with romance of the three kingdoms or not yet?

The anime will only be releasing in April but the manga has over a hundred chapters.
The synopsis of this anime looks similar to it.
My pfp is Serana from a game called Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I love that game so decided to make a profile layout based on it.
There are many versions of the novel but this one's pretty popular so I went with it. Also it's gonna be like reading a history book unlike modern novels so be prepared for it when the time comes. I did have some issues with it at the beginning, but now that I've read both of them, I can say that it was worth it.
Currently I'm watching Clannad, which kinda sucked for the first 10 episodes but now it's getting more interesting. As for manga I'm reading Solanin which is from the same author as Goodnight Punpun and it's been pretty good. I'm also about to finish a book called East of Eden which I'm really loving so far.
Well, Kingdom and The Ravages of Time are probably the closest things to each other you can find here. Kingdom is solely focused on Qin's campaigns but RoT covers multiple POVs at once and because of the same the time spent on detailing the battles is low compared to Kingdom. RoT spends more time on diplomacy, political and economic scheming than Kingdom.
To be honest RoT is a unique case. There might be people who disagree with me, but I personally think if you don't know anything related to Three Kingdoms media, books, TV show, games etc then you won't find it enjoyable. Kingdom didn't have this problem because the author takes his time to introduce the characters but in RoT they're just presented to us as if we are already familiar with them. I've read the original Romance of The Three Kingdoms Novel before reading RoT, which in itself is quite a task, so I was familiar with most of the characters. If you like ancient Chinese warfare, I'd highly suggest you to read the Novel, maybe an abridged version before going into it. The original Novel was written almost 1300 years after the Three Kingdoms era so it's safe to say that many of the things presented in the Novel might have been changed with time. So the author of RoT decided to write the story in an original way and that's part of the reason why you should be familiar with Three Kingdoms before reading RoT - seeing things from a different perspective.
