A Whisker Away is the closest movie I have seen to a Ghibli movie. Spirited Away is a very loved Ghibli movie featuring a girl trying to fix her parents back to normal. A Whisker Away is about a girl who wants her crush to like her back so, she uses an absurd method to get her way. Both girls venture to a faraway land to fix the issues they made. I believe A Whisker Away is a lot more "mushy" and focused on the female + male relation. Chihiro and Haku in Spirited Away I believe is just a friendly relation, whereas A Whisker Away is a more romantic relation. Both movies are very well made. A Whisker Away is brand new and fresh so, in my opinion, the visuals and animation are cleaner and brighter. Spirited Away is one of my all-time favorite Ghibli movies, maybe even out of all movies. The story in Spirited Away hit closer to me than A Whisker Away. I just enjoyed the more magical, apparition theme than the cat land. Both movies are targeted towards children so they both are a "Happily ever after" movie. A Whisker Away also deals with more realistic themes including parent-child relations and bullying. All in all both movies are great it all depends n the viewers preference.

Beastars and BNA to me, are quite similar. They both are based off of animal-like people/animals. If you are interested in that aspect this would be a good watch. Also, one of the main characters in BNA is a wolf, like Legoshi in Beastars. They have a similar setting, a city/world divided by differences. Even though BNA is not really romantic like Beastars they share similarities in overall presentation. I like BNA because of the animation, the visuals are really pretty and they use eye-catching color palettes. I enjoy the character design in both. I favor the animal "theme" because it is different from other anime, it has a whole different flavor. BNA is pointed toward the younger audience I believe so that is a major factor, Beastars is way more mature in my opinion.
