Both started of their seasons extremely underrated. Such a shame! Rakugo and Fune have very simple premises but mature themes. Both have a strong josei vibe and both have very pleasant music. They also seem to be slightly similar in art style. Rakugo appears to have slightly better animation flow, but both very appealing. In contrast, Rakugo is based on an older Japanese time period (for most of season 1) whereas Fune is modern day Japan. Respectfully I understand either anime isn't for everyone, but they're both just captivating!

Both has the Chinese zodiac. Etotama has lots of girls, while Fruits Basket has a larger amount of guys.

...then you might like Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji add

Fuji & Kyouya are both sadistic guys who enjoy toying with a girl's emotions. But Fuji is a host club member & Kyouya is just a guy with a cold exterior, but both are almost impossible to know what they are thinking. Not to mention Erika and Sakura both get angry at the guys who treat them poorly. but still end up falling for the guy.

...then you might like Zankyou no Terror add

Zankyou has very intellectual characters. They are brilliant just like Light & L from Death Note. 12 & 9 are very smart & are many steps ahead of the police just like Light was with his death note.
