I don't really know what to say other than I am impressed in the most dumb founded way with Idea Factory and their "ideas" during this period. And I can't emphasize this enough with this tittle. From the same creators responsible dubbed "the worst anime ever," Mar of Destruction comes their first draft. Yes fun fact, Mars of Destruction came out during 2005 while Tenkuu Danzato Skelter Heaven came six months before it during 2004. Yes, you read that right, Idea Factory was already doing OVA tie in's for games before these two "wonderful tittle's" like Generation of Chaos, Spectral Force & Gakuentoshi Varanoir Joukan
...
that were below average to just bad in quality. And part that makes Mars of Destruction & Tenkuu Danzato Skelter Heaven is just the clear lack off effort put into them and it shows in all aspects resulting in a 101 in what not to do when producing an Anime Video Original. But that's the part that just messes with my mind Mar of Destruction was their second attempt. And that, they had the galls six months later to try again. And yes their first attempt was way worst, but not by much when comparing it to Mars of Destruction.
Anyways let's get this over with, here's a synopsis:
In the far off distant future, a mysterious floating entity appears in the center Tokyo. In response, the top secret mission unit the "Alta Mira Agency" or AA is commissioned by the Defense Agency to deal and repel this mysterious invader. Hunagai Otsuya, the one in charge of the robot training and the one responsible for choosing the lead girl who will receive secret training. And through said training will use the "Battle Soles" to push back the enemy even at the cost of their lives.
So did that synopsis make some sort of sense? Hopefully it did because the OVA did a terrible job at even doing that. Now let's go over points so that I can drink away the 19 minutes I will never get back.
Story:
A complete train wreck that also causes a nuclear explosion. And that's putting it lightly. But what do you expect when when you simply cut in game cut scenes with no context that creates useless scenes that does absolutely nothing for the plot. It's a mess that tries to shove everything in 19 minutes which makes it's jarring and a pain to follow. And the things that you can follow like the sub plot romance, the alien beings, the DEEP meaning of the robot's existence and "themes" (or whatever is there) are all pointless because we, again, have on context which means nothing for the viewer. And in a similar vain to Mars of Destruction, are blatant rip offs of others series like Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Character:
Bland and cut out cardboard cut outs that are just shoved in the viewers face like we are supposed to care. And that the problem with it, with only 19 minutes and clear ripoffs of other successful properties. Which makes plot twist and philosophical revelations, or what ever I witnessed in the end, pointless. And the development for these characters? Out of context in game cut scenes that are poorly edited that had me bawling and laughing in all the wrong reason's.
Art and Animation:
Similar to it's sister, Mars of Destruction, it is bland and bad. Character design are something from a bad eroge game and that itself feels like an insult to eroge. 2D animation is stiff and low effort. And what they edit together is what makes me laugh in all the wrong ways. Especially with the cuts and how they are sliced just makes it all feel like the company took every measure to make it so that the viewer will not get what is going on. Oh and the 3D animation is like an insult to 3D animation for the time, 2004. And it was clear that they did not have the budget for it in their games so yeah, they probably should have skipped on that part as well.
Enjoyment:
I mean it had me busting out laughing at how ludicrous that something of this quality could be produced. But other than that even with stupid low expectations and turning off my brain, it just felt like a pointless mess where doing nothing would have been so much better.
Conclusion:
Similar to Mar of Destruction, it is a clear example of a 101 on what not to do when editing and generally creating an OVA. And that in itself is impressive that a product of this level was not only produced, but was created with all the wrong steps taken. Although I was laughing for the wrong reason while in complete bewilderment, it is not even a case of so-bad-it’s-good because, as I was saying throughout feels like a painful waste of time that actively does everything wrong to make the viewing experience pure torture. But hey, if you still plan to see if that's on you but don't say I didn't warm you. As a whole, stay away from this one.

“All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy. That's how far the world is from where I am. Just one bad day.”
― Alan Moore , Batman: The Killing Joke
...well, in this case it took a couple of passing years but the point still stands.
Story:
The tale of a girl who wanted to be notice. So after graduating junior high she's decides to change her look. But because of that one change plus the longing to be noticed her life takes a drastic change and shift towards a unhealthy addiction and poor support structure. And from there the
...
tale roles on.
Art:
This being a Hentai Doujin focusing on the characters being in sexually compromising and humiliating poses, it delivers on that front. Now if we were to talk about the context of said scenes being fetish fuel is another topic that you yourself have to decide on your moral compass. But again, on the merit of art and art alone, it is effective.
Characters:
Well more like character because everyone else feels like a cardboard stand filled to make the protagonist role a living hell. So not much to talk about on this front other than this was severely lacking which completely takes away the depths and ideologies on why people act like terrible individuals. In short, context and motivation is important for stakes to matter.
Speaking of the protagonist, her actions are a bit of contention whether you can sympathize with the whole Coming of Age motif on a dark level or view it as one dimensional or force which presents it in a more disingenuous and trivial way to the actual topic of substance abuse. I fall in the middle. The core concept in which events outside of one control was done in a decently good light while problems I personally saw was how linear her options were. That may have be the point but again, going back to her environment, it felt at points where she just had to get knocked up because "well, this is a hentai" but in doing so cut scenes that I felt should have been more impactful or should have had a more stronger emphasis on. And if they were focused on would have dealt a stronger blow on the grit and reality part.
Extended thoughts:
Also I know this is way beyond the craze from when this blew up in 2017 but this work was definitely an unfortunate side of internet culture that propelled it into a spotlight that honestly was not intending it too. Which in turn put a dumb amount of expectations and preconceived notions like the comparisons to a Inio Asano's Punpun. Which that comparison is wild itself not because of the excuse of "it's a hentai manga" because there have been multiple H series with compelling and adult stories. The problem with making that comparison is that it only causes short sighted discorse and again, unreal expectation and ideologies built up from our own perspectives
Linking it back to the subject matter on the "dark abuse of no return." Topics that we tends to not see in our daily lives that are practically repeating themselves in much more sinister and dangerous ways around the world. Which again is no means to take away from anyone's experience. Which shows that you really need to develop a fully living world more than just stereotype cardboard's of motivation to full it off. And I will give credit where it is due with it's portrayal of blind relational trust/manipulation and how the portrayal of addiction though its art was done consistently. Especially in the end as that was the only way out that the protagonist knew.
but...
Final Thoughts:
In the end I personally feel that the tale itself was a solid alright. Especially skimming the Doujin a second time I caught that it heavily relied on shock imagery and scenarios. Which in turn left the structure, the skeleton and bones of the story bare other than a repetitive cycle of me saying to myself, "Oh, I guess there gonna be bad because the plot" and "I guess she really doesn't have a choice if the plot wills it huh." The balance of being a H manga and the subject matter in the end created it's own worst enemy. Of course this is my experience and if you were curious on checking it out and have a radically different opinion then more power to ya!
Final Final Thoughts:
Enjoyable? Not so much but the concept and idea was a fair and decent tempt. Worth H manga? Far from no given that there are H stories way more disrespectful and full of themselves for the subject matter they handle. Only reason why this one got so much attention was again thanks to meme culture which gave out wild opinions of assumption.
But yeah, it alright for a one and done thing.
Hope my jumbled thoughts slightly help!

'Beautiful World' is a music video directed by Tsurumaki Kazuya and sung by Utada Hikaru.
The Song in question is based on the ending theme for Rebuild of Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone. As for the video itself, it uses clips from the first 3 movies of the rebuild franchise. It uses city scenery along side cuts to stills of the characters. The characters themselves are juxtaposed with those same buildings and finally quick cuts to scenes of the movie. These cuts involve most of the main cast members and their interaction around Shinj. Presumably used to link with the music's lyrics as to
...
why said images were chosen.
Even as a fan of Utada Hikaru's music, thanks to Kingdom Hearts, the song itself is only half of the original itself. So if listening to the song was your only take away, then you are out of luck.
I will say for a positive that even if most of the images were just reused scenes, the placement of them was effective. In terms of the conjuncture with the songs themes and lyrics with the themes of the movie. Otherwise the main use of this was for promotion of not only the last films for fans, but to be showcased at an MTV Japan event to promote said movie and franchise.
Harmless is a word I would use. Neat for fans of Eva and Utada and a small piece to hold off people waiting for the last film, but absolutely little to nothing past the 1st or 2nd viewing for those unfamiliar with both.

Buta, a wealthy boy is separated from his family and is captured for his treasure. Through some silly occurrences, a samurai working with the pirates were forced to make a deal with the said kid to retrieve a treasure map.
Similar to Sword of the Stranger in terms of the relationship between boy and samurai fighting off against their fate but with Human like Animal Characters. Potential is there but for me there just isn't much to go on in terms of the overall message.
Seems mixed in theme but what can you do with just 24 minutes for a story like that. In terms
...
of positives animation, sound, and design aesthetic is its strong points for sure. For that, so far the weakest of the 4 but by no means bad, but is cluttered which is not the story's fault but. As a whole, Was entertained for the animation but that is pretty much it, the substance is not something this has in terms of message or story.

Li'l Spider-Girl, the story about a shopkeeper, Suzuri of Kokumondou who sell historic books and Mizuki, granddaughter of said land. Both investigate a sealed book that released a young spider demon.
The story itself has potential because of the simple set up but sticks to the basic plot of the said demon and its interaction with our characters. A good bit of humor with a bright and expressive character that does this short favor but as a whole, doesn't deviate much.
The animation was quality in a lot of respects in terms of fluidity and style. The animation is fluid with the theme and fits
...
the said tone, especially the turns, and surprising twist. The story was consistent until the latter half in which point, is still decent, but takes a turn because it had to (Simply because they only had about 24 minutes). Is it a good or a bad twist? Well, that's up for your discretion. As a whole, entertaining and neat to watch, but the latter half takes turns. Still a marvel in the animation side and entertaining as a whole.

Puka Puka Juju, a tale of a young daughter wanting to go to the beach with her father but can't because of work obligations.
Effective is a word I would use because it covers the bases of family, creativity, and imagination from a child's perspective. Which links to animation, colorful and full of life.
It is vibrant and works with the themes of the plot and the desires of the characters. Which, again, contrast well with the imagination part of the child's mind with how each character must overcome said idea.
As a whole, it is the strongest of the 4 shorts of 2011 in terms
...
of simplicity of story and message yet fun expression with animation.

A simple story about bullying and being an observer to said action. The message was straight forward, which is effective but is all it amounts too.
Shiranpuri, aesthetically it is visually simple yet expressive. Especially with the sound department as well and how said visuals enhance them. Like this one for that.
But other than that it plays it really safe which means it doesn't develop past that point. Potential is there but is washed because it doesn't go much or amount to much more. Is it pointless, no, but because of said stagnation, no other themes are expanded on.

For Romance shojo style with a bit of slice of life manga, the series as a whole has been mixed for me personally. A good start with a clear establishment of a set relationship is always a fun read. Especially the aspects of being in relationships and the struggles with it. And this was for the first 10 chapters. The rest, well mixed. The main two leads were, for me great at the start. Getting their feelings across straight with the Male lead having the past problem while the female lead accepting those problems and moving on together.
Then Marui came along. Look, I get it.
...
You need conflict, drama, and tension to move a story or narrative forward to lead into something. And I also get those feelings don't easily disappear, but the author during the second act practically went with a pretty bad way in terms of showing and handling it. The two leads are not in the clear either seeing as both of them made some pretty dumb decisions that only confused everyone around them.
Overall, it felt like to story was dragging out a conflict that really should have taken a chapter to address and iron out. And in doing so possibly moving on to the aspect of the relationship the two leads themselves face while also having the cast getting into relationships themselves that would better support the leads. Like you know, communicating your feelings, still having Marui have felt but moving on with the new 1st year girl, go into more aspects about male leads past relationship while the two leads coming to terms with each other and growing together.
Tldr, First half was intriguing while the last half dragged with the conflict being painfully obvious on all sides. Still though, it was inoffensive and was just average overall.

I don't even know how to start this one other than a 1/10 is mercy compared to what I just witnessed. THERE WILL BE SPOILERS, BUT HONESTLY, DO YOU EVEN CARE.
Worst shows of our generation such as Mar of destruction? Pupa? Glasslip? Green Green? At least they have the structure of some sort.
Super Child is definitely... something that is challenging and actively trying to make the audience hate every step of the way. Let's just say that this piece of.... work, no this... thing will give individuals what a true 1/10 or what a 0-star rating looks like. Because if an individual has been rating
...
shows as such all these years and sees this, they definitely will have to go into the double digits of negatives. NEGATIVES I say.
Context for the Film-
To give a little background, Super Kid was a South Korean movie special that was taking advantage of shows such as First of the North Star and especially Dragon Balls popularity boost that was happening worldwide. From what I gathered, the studio ran into a tremendous amount of problems that lead them to be in development hell for 3 years, constantly switch staff, actors leaving and the budget being completely neglected. And what does this add up to... pure chaos of the horrendous and pathetic kind. I can't even be comical about it watching it because.. the content, or whatever it is, is not even trying.
Story-
Hhahahahaha. Yeah, what story?
The most basic part of the structure. What do have? Random trailers for the movie that was a part of the movie, which spoils everything you need to know. And this was in the official edit as in these trailers were apart of the movie. I thought I was watching something else until I realized other versions online had this same issue.
Then suddenly boom, We have flying cars, out of context fight scenes that have no bearing or progression, bad RoboCop rip-offs aliens, and a dumb space adventure. During the middle of the film, there some big bad that doesn't do anything, sad filler- I mean tragic developments and some out of nowhere comedy? More force filler down your mouth about some dumb generic message that makes children scratch their head. And the big bad is dead with some many dumb plot point, questions, and flat out characters not even being mentioned ever.
Feeling lost? Well, that's how I felt. They beat a big bad and basic elements never get resolve. Villans are just as stupid. It is a really poorly paced, directed and overall executed with the same finest as a pile of manure.
Character-
Wow... I...
You want to know the most memorable thing one of the characters said:
"MMHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA EEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHH" one from the main characters as they where in moderate agony. Kinda funny because I was practically laughing out historical insanity for what I was watching.
The "Super Kids" or whatever you wanna call them are just stupid, dumb, and slow to fill the plots needs. Even their name is generic and made to sell toys as one of them is named Big Boy. The others can be summarized Token girl, Smart one, generic protagonist, old dude, generic cowards. I'm losing my mind just talking about these characters. They got the whole line ready!
Art-
The only decently generic and normally bad thing about this movie, which in turn makes it unironically the only decent thing about it. It goes for a more "CAMERA" zoom feel to the film. Still bad because of those still as just... especially bad because of the aesthetic choices and liberties the film chooses to go after. Also doesn't help that when you have four different plot that also corresponds to five different tones and shading. It gives the film a certain feeling that there was no direction at all. I mean it does use a generalize animation type, but that is still horrible because it is just abstract distractions for how horrible
And finally sound-
Do you like knives tracing against a plate or nails on a chock board? Well, you've come to the right place if you want that but in such a needlessly dull and forced manner. I mean seriously. Why. It tries to go for a loony toon type feel with the sounds and effects but, just, no...
Enjoyment-
.... moving on
Closing thoughts-
And it's not so badly insane that it's good, oh no it is not, because it plucks out any hope of that with it's constant tone shifts that just baffles you to even process what is going on.Jokes and skits that even for it time where completely tone deaf and numb. So yeah they had ideas and money but no general soul for the viewers enjoyment, time or basic respect. Nothing challenging or complex to think about nor nothing fun to turn your brain off and the pretty things go "boom." Absolutely none of that. Which is one of the biggest things that generally bothers me about said product because yes, there were a multitude of products that definitely tried to ride the wave of shonen of this decade. A lot of them where mediocre to very bad. But at least those had at least some of the fundamentals down, this one is just a massive insult to the viewers because one, it has no idea what it wants to be but two, just spits in the viewers faces with insulting beats where it seemed like they are trying to grab the viewers money while running to the bank.
Is this the worst piece of media I have ever seen? No. Is it the worst anime I have seen? Possibly, but there are other shows that I am really not a fan of for a multitude of aspects. But what this film gets wrong is so evident that it makes it unwatchable for the viewer. Especially in the sound and mixing aspect. Halfway through the film I just I had to take off my headphones because of a migraine. Which is fitting with the overall feeling of "we practically don't care for our product" type atmosphere the film gave off.
I most definitely went through the five stages of grief. Got revived and realized that this... abomination was still a thing that was passed, approved and was sent out for young children to consume and suffer deep eternal scars from.
Overall Score 1/10
I'm not even gonna try to warn you because if you were not deterred by this review or others that share same pain, suffering and anguish, then you're probrably gonna watch the damn film anyways to see how bad it could get.
Hell, I would not wish this on those that I don't particularly are fond of. But if you are so hell-bent on destroying your perception of what is and something that can be truly considered a horrendous ground-dwelling creature for the darkest pits of Armageddon and destruction.
Then watch it. I don't care. But don't say that I did not warm you.
