Towards the end of the review there is a little spoiler from the light novel, so read at your own discration, with this said I will put the spoiler warning, just in case.
Sadness comes over me when I think of this anime for two reasons.
The first one is that it ended, I liked the cooking part of it, later on today I will try some of those recipes that Mukohda did, they seem delicious as hell. Because we are still in the like part of the review I will continue with another thing that was nice to see, and that is the whole
...
idea of this show, from the whole exploration part of it to the the peace it gave me when I watched it, the small laughs here and there which were the results of the banter between the characters and of course the characters themselves, except the MC which was annoying most of the time.
The second reason for sadness is that it ended by not doing anything that made any kind of impact on the story, it's like I watched it for nothing, it felt like one of those episodic type of shows that after twenty or so episodes something interesting happens and that's that, we move on to the daily dose of cooking, bantering and whining. This formula works wonders for shows like Detective Conan that have over 1000 episodes, but here where you get only twelve episodes you need something to keep the audience glued to the screen and this show doesn't do that.
The overall idea was good as stated before, the characters were not bad at all, they mixed together nicely giving of a family vibe, but that is all, they are one dimensional and in the end as the MC said, the two of them ( Fel and Sui ) fell in the foodie type of characters and he himself is a pathetic kind of guy who whines about everything, even after he became somewhat capable of handling himself in battle he was the same person as in episode 1, the spineless salary guy.
The simple mistake of not adding a FMC to the story in my opinion is fatal, and I know that this is intentional because later in the story it becomes a laughing point that Mukohda has no luck in love, he even gets a perk that makes him almost immortal and let's him live for about 1500 years just so he can find someone, but it needed some kind of drama, maybe adding a love interest to the party this the MC would've gotten a pair and made himself a better man, not a slave to those two food junkies.
With all of this said, the conclusion is that this started well enough to intrigue me, but after the middle part it was hard for me to finish it, even if I did in the end.

As I've stated on the review of the first movie, I will start with the same thought about why I've checked the spoiler warning here. I might add some spoiler-ish things about the story and characters in this review, but there are minor ones, not something that I think will destroy the enjoyment of the ones reading this before watching the movie.
I will start on a sad note because this is how I felt after finishing this movie, even if the ending was on the good side.
Truthfully speaking there are a lot of bad parts in this sequel, they outweigh the good ones
...
that is for certain.
Starting with the part that didn't make any sense whatsoever, the part where the FMC is in love with the MC, but they have to split up for a certain reason and the reason is that we needed more drama, of course that is not the why they split up, but if a normal person would think for about 5 minutes and not go to the ultimately bad decision as the first choice, this movie could've been saved. It felt like the characters were controlled by aliens or by an unknown virus, because such mistakes were impossible to make by the same characters in the first movie.
They used all kind of cliché reasoning to justify why they butchered the story to this degree, from memory loss to simply ' I will break up with you, so you could be happy' , but at the same time thinking that they still love each other kind of talk, let's not forget the long lost brother trope, even so if this type of reasons were used in other situations maybe it could've worked, but not here, not like they imagined it.
The whole movie was a drag to finish, except the first twenty minutes where all was well, the story was continued from where the last movie left us, Benio searches for Shinobu( lieutenant ), but to no avail, but keeps on hoping that he is alive and he will return to her someday.
After this part all hell breaks lose in the shoujo universe and overly dramatic scenes one after another came, bad, no, bad is nice word to describe the middle part, horrible decisions were made, like the writers had a bet on how bad they can make this part. Of course let's not forget the ending, as I've said in the beginning it's on the good side of things with an and they lived happily ever after type of ending, but before we get to that part we have to swim in the swamp of poorly made decisions yet again, with more grotesque and fake drama just so we could maybe understand why we got here, but it fell flat on its face just like the middle part.
Ok, enough with this and let's move on with the characters.
The good part is that the secondary characters shined here, from the kabuki actor ( Ranmaru ) to Onijima Sergeant and let's not forget Benio's best friend Tamaki, they made a nice impression and clearly were thinking with their head, not their rear part as the MC's.
Yes you've read it right, the mc's where that bad, I've said the same thing twice, just a little different and this is the third time, but I can't stress it enough, that's how bad they were here. Decisions like they were made by kindergarten children is the main reason I disliked them, not a hint of intelligent behavior, nothing like an adult should think in those situations. The writer's changed their personalities at 180 degrees because they need more drama.
Changing the subject. Let's move to the art/ animation section, the sequel ( this ) is just as good as the first part. The animation flows, it's not like a power point presentation like we are used to in the newer anime series we get season by season, the backgrounds are drawn with care and the colors are simply beautiful.
The OST drops a little from the first movie, maybe I couldn't pay attention to it because of how the story was evolving, but it felt a little bland in comparison.
As for a verdict, I am disappointed, maybe I wished for to much from an almost 50 years old story, but it could've been better, to bad it left a bad aftertaste to this story, for better or for worse I can't recommend this further, but you the one reading this want to see how their story ends go for it.
Thank you for reading, I hope that all of you that have read until this point will have a good day.

In this review I put the spoiler warning because there are a few details here and there that are spoiler-ish, but it's not something that might impact someone's enjoyment.
As for the movie, it started a little boring, but after twenty or so minutes it kept getting steam and it was better scene by scene.
If there is one thing that I enjoyed the most about this anime is Benio the FMC. I love this girl, her antics, her energy, everything about her is well done, it's not like this wasn't done before, but if half of the anime girls were like this maybe
...
this trend ( anime watching / manga reading ) wouldn't be such a niche of a hobby.
Everything was good from the VA, some of them you could be recognized from a mile away, to the story, but as I said before it had a slow start, even so it was entertaining enough to keep you watching until the real plot came.
The art/animation was consistent without quality drops, at least to what I could notice, and it had something that made me think of the early 90' .
Let's not forget the the OST that was a pleasant surprise, it didn't hinder the viewing of this at all, it blended well with the story, but what I've liked the most about it was the ending song, again taking me and my thoughts to a few shows that were similar to this, that are almost three decades old by now.
The characters were well written and it felt like they were alive, from the generic soldier that hates anyone who isn't a Japanese to a in-training kabuki actor that follows his love interest, disguised as a maid I might add, even after she goes to marry another guy.
A great movie overall, but it just had to have a bad thing, and that is the pacing, the slow start as stated before and the rushed mid part and ending, I might even say forced, a few examples that come to mind are, how fast they fell in love with each other ( sweet as that might be ) and how fast the military guys accepted Shinobu as their boss with just a little fight between him and Onijima, which served as his sergeant.
If not for its flaws this movie would've been up there with Your Name, Koe no Katachi, Violet Evergarden Movie ( this one is similar because the FMC is looking for her loved one as well ), not like the ones that I enumerated are without flaws mind you, but in their defense the problems there aren't so in your face as here.

I will start this review with the following sentence.
I can't possibly recommend this manga, because it is an unfinished product.
From its early stages I've read this story, loved it, maybe even cherished it to some degree, but honestly speaking after the latest chapters and maybe the years that have passed since I've started this manga those emotions vanished into thin air.
Until recently I've had this manga scored at a 9 out of 10, but after chapter 60 or something close to that, the story went crazy, it kept bringing new people in forgetting the existing ones, some interesting characters were killed just
...
so it can bring out some emotions. The pace was far to fast and because of that I felt like I was reading something just so time could pass, not something that I enjoyed a lot in the beginning.
A few examples of some characters and the plot line that they were connected to were simply erased from the existence.
The first one was the rival of the MC (Rygart) named Zess, after his defeat in the first few chapters he retreated to his country to recuperate from his injuries thinking that maybe life in the military isn't for him, but because it couldn't end that way he was elected as a high commander of his country's military. After a new skirmish with the Rygart and a new defeat he swears that he will be back and that next time will kill him for sure, but guess what, he didn't even make another appearance in the manga after that. Quick trivia about him, he was called a genius, but every time he was trashed by the MC.
The second one is Hodr, the king of the empire that Rygart is part of, on paper he is regarded as an excellent leader that put his country back on the map or so to say, a great tactician and so on and so forth, but what did he achieve all this time? Nothing, absolutely nothing, he is the running joke of this story, at least in my opinion, his wife doesn't love him, doesn't even share the same bedroom with him, he has fantasies that she will revoke her divorce with him and will be with him in the end, but guess what? No, that doesn't happen and in his frustration he gets together with his cook, or at least that's what she seems to be.
The third one is the Sigyn, the kings wife, at first she was important because she is the brain of the whole robo tech in the country, but after a few chapters you can see that she is eye candy and a damsel in distress and nothing more, she is an indecisive women who for the love of God even now I can't understand why she married the king and why is she in the story at all.
So, let's connect the dots now, Rygart, Zess, Hodr and Sigyn are friends and classmates of the military school situated in Asslum ( if I remember correctly ), the 3 boys are best friends that in normal situation would've never had any connection to each other, but under some circumstance's they've bonded, as for Sigyn it was never explained as to why was she with them, maybe I forgot.
Rygart is an un-sorcerer, or someone who can't use the power of quartz to move things around and control the the golems ( meaning the mecha of this world ), I should've said this earlier, but it's never to late, he loves Sigyn and she loves him back, but because of his condition he can't be with her, here you can facepalm if you want, so he decides that is better if she goes and be with his friend Hodr, because he can take better care of her, you can facepalm again, I know I did when I've read such a stupid reason.
Rygart can control a single golem and it's one used by the first people, it was said the they lived at least a thousand years ago and that's about all the information about them, some tiny details I will leave them to the ones who want to read this, this golem has a high learning curve and since our MC is a peasant that didn't learn how to use such things stumbles quite a few times before he finally learn to control it entirely. Probably if you've read up until now you are wondering how did he defeat his genius friend, don't worry I am asking the same question myself.
I will stop here with the characters and the plot holes, I could go on for a few more pages.
The last remaining thing to say on my list is related to the art of this manga and I will be blunt, more than a few times it was bad and unfocused, just like it was made by someone who is doing this as a hobby not by a pro, but since I am not judging manga and anime by art, but by story, most of the time, this part won't value to much in the final score.
Finishing this the score will be split in two, first part of this till chapter 58, because from here the story goes to into high gear and from there to a train wreak, will be a 9, but from chapter 59 till the end with a heavy heart it will get a 1, so it shows how bad it is from there.
Thanx for reading until this point, as I've said earlier I can't recommend this, but for the first part and some battles in the 2nd part you can try it.

Hey there folks!
What we have here is another really well done Detective Conan movie, oriented more towards action and suspense, plus some super powers at the end there for Makoto going SSJ, but not something we didn't see before in this series, let's call it lore friendly.
The only thing that was out for the entire movie was the mystery, it was clear as day who was the culprit from the first minutes of the show, but it didn't matter so much, the all idea was to show how they will catch him.
One thing I really liked about this movie is how Conan and Kid
...
interacted, even if they are rivals, the synergy was perfect, they complemented each other when it needed.
Another point I would like to address is when Conan explained to Kid how the murders occurred, like using some kind of hologram, the whole scene was something I would like to see in the TV Series as well.
PS: The only mystery in the end is how no one noticed that the Arthur is Conan, he is exactly the same just that he is a little browner.

Spoilers ahead.
If I were to describe this manga it would be something like this , life experience . In a way I found myself as many others that have read this in the main characters place .
Every stupid thing I've done in my youth , not that I am that old , I've experienced yet again by reading this . The whole stupid bet that would make you get the number of a girl that is the lonely ranger of the class , almost dating her because she was a really nice girl , but if you would do that your so called
...
friends would ostracize you for it so you would of course call it quits even if deep down you know that she would've made you happy .
My personal favorite was the arc with Guchi and Makino , I am a little ironic here , because this is the most common thing on the planet , a guy or a girl likes someone but is together with another person and for that I could call it the best arc , I am lying though , reading it brought back stupid memories , that I would've prefered gone .
So far so good , enough with the memory lane and comparisons , so if you are still reading it means that you have a lot of time , or somehow you are finding this right up your alley .
Art wise it was above average , shounen like and a little bit of shoujo magic here and there .
The story was something new I guess , in a way , I can't seem to remember ever reading any manga like this , I could call it fresh , but that is my opinion , the only downside was the ending , rushed for no actual reason , it could've been more fleshed out .
Character department was a bit lacking even if I called it at the beginning " life experience " , some of them seemed a bit exaggerated to a fault , the Nana x2 arc speaks for itself , plus the main MC he was a pussy from the get go , he grew a pack of dragon balls right at the last pages and for that another minus . The only character that I really liked was ' Samson ' , the girl who really loved our stupid ass MC and he almost lost her , the saving grace of the last pages , honestly speaking how can a sane person leave her like that , a sane person would've looked in every corner of this Earth , a sane person would've proposed to her on the spot , but he probably isn't a sane person , or he is just plain stupid , sorry for the rant .
All in all I enjoyed reading this in my break at work and for the nostalgia of our probably stupid ass youth I can recommend this with all my heart .
Thx for reading .

How to describe this manga ? One way to do it is like this , some randome dude that was having fun driving his car met a big ass wall-kun, then he crashed right into it , now it struggles to stay alive by fast pacing it's heart beat and trying different remedies , ' superpowerish' ones ... Ok I don't really know if this does make any sense whatsoever , but this is how I see this manga now .
This should've ended right after they took over the school , why in the blazing hell did they want to continue if it is
...
clear as day that this writer has lost it's way ... Light Chefs vs Dark Chefs , really ?! Getting someone's knife equals getting their skills , really ?! If they wanted to go this path with this series they should've done this from the get go , not now in the last hour ...
My guess is that they want to finish it with some romance between Souma and Erina , because it seems that she is his last goal , making her submit to his cooking and admitting that its delicious and here I will be honest , this is the only thing that I would like to see a final battle between those two and some kind of happy ending to this tragic once wonderful series .
I know how this must look , but I am not venting my anger here , more like I feel disappointed with this manga , it really felt home when I was reading it and I learned new stuff about cooking , even tried a few recipes that came with the show , but now it's a really well drawn mess .
Thx for reading .

A quick search on google on the word ' densest ' and this is what I find , Osmium is the densest naturally occurring element, with a density of 22.59 g/cm3. To my surprise I didn't find Naho , or something close to that , maybe the scientists don't watch to many animes because if I were them I would correct that statement and put her as the most , without a match , peerless , first place for the most densest ' material ' on this planet . From the get go she was there just for the female MC , she falls in
...
love without a reason , just because he helped her once , that's stupid even for ' plot ' reasons , runs away even if she knows what will happen if she does and many more reasons not to like her , not even one to do so .
Onward , next stop Kakeru , a piece of garbage character , suicidal prick with no brain to even think past 3 words , ' mom ' , ' sorry ' and ' death ' . Ok we understand that you love your mother , that you are sorry that you were a douche with her and so on , but after you read her message why the hell do you have to go and kill yourself ? Her message was awesome , not something you would want to kill yourself for , she didn't blame you or anything , she fucking loved your stupid , worthless ass , but you decide to kill yourself and go to her side to apologize , I bet she would hug you , kiss your forehead and say ' Ahh what a good son I have , there there , mommy is here , have a cookie ' , that clearly won't happen , but because he is a moron he can't get past the 1+1 threshold , so yeah , I guess he is better of dead IMO .
The saving grace of this anime , the art , except one episode , the ending song , really beautiful and ofc Suwa , the MvP that made this show watchable , if not for him this would've been a fucking disaster ...
PS : The shadow MvP goes to Hagita for destroying the idiots bike , good job mate you deserve a girl ^_^ .

This had a lot more potential than Macross 7 , but it went south-side real fast toward the end , to rushed , his choice of a girl is questionable at best , not that any of them were any good , Mirage for one has no development and Freyia's cute and all , but with her problem with dying really young, I don't know what to say , she is more of a friend material than GF material , I would've gone for Mikumo , mysterious and all , plus that they had some kind of synergy even with their little to none connection
...
.
As many said before nothing really ended , no question answered , I can probably say that in 26 eps nothing happened .
If you watch this as any other anime , not as a Macross franchise than it would pass as something watchable , but if you want to see something that reminds you of how awesome the whole Macross universe is than you can kiss that thought goodbye since this is a total mess ...
I could go on on how bad this is but I will leave it as this . Some will say that 6 overall is to much , but I find it appropriate , since it was FINE , a FINE disappointment.

Hey guys , it's been a long time since I've wrote a review , so I hope that you will enjoy it .
Well, shall we begin ?
First of all some of you guys know that this anime is based on the game with the same name and if I'm not mistaken it's an eroge , not that I've played it , yet . The synopsis is written above so I will skip it .
What I liked about the about this anime that it had and still has the Steins;Gate vibe in it, I won't go in detail about this but you should
...
watch that one to . Time travel is the main word if you want to describe this show, but the bad part about it that this isn't to well explained and because of that some holes in the story were born , of course you can let them slide and enjoy the anime as it is .
About the characters, here is the main problem, they weren't fleshed out and because of that the drama in this show plummeted toward earth at lighting speed and the result was a 3rd rate melodrama. If this had 24, 25, 26 episodes the end result could've been a lot better.
The soundtrack, what can I say here, nothing I guess, didn't find it really good or bad, generic is the right word for it, my bad is that I rarely care about the OST in a series that doesn't take itself to seriosly as in this case.
The art/animation, another weak point, I don't demand something like Unlimited Blade Works for every anime out there, I know it's impossible, but it looked kinda outdated, something from 2008/2009 in 2016 is not a good selling point. As a side note, the first episode was the worst of the batch, it felt and looked really awkward, still frames, poor drawing and such .
I have this thing, if I don't enjoy an anime even a little I won't finish it, so yeah I enjoyed it for the story and for the ending, that he made the right choice about the girl.
For the closing words, or the conclusion, however you want to call it, the story was good, could've been better, the characters felt like they had no life in them, the soundtrack was nothing special, the art was a little ' plain ' for.my taste, and outdated, overall it had potential, but it didn't go as planed I guess.
